Kvalifikationer
Vi söker nu dig med en gedigen utbildning inom hållfasthet och strukturmekanik. Vi tror att du har en civilingenjörsexamen från Maskin, Teknisk Fysik eller Samhällsbyggnad och har jobbat något eller några år med LS-DYNA eller motsvarande programvara. 
Du skall ha goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och i skrift. Som person är du noggrann, ambitiös och vetgirig. Du har ett sinne för detaljer och har en förmåga att förklara komplexa tekniska termer för personer i din omgivning.
Du gillar att träffa människor och har förmåga att anpassa dig i nya miljöer. Du är självständig, handlingskraftig, van att ta egna initiativ och är bra på att kommunicera och dokumentera.

Din roll som ingenjör

Affärsområdet Sensor & Information Solutions på Combitech består idag av cirka 105 engagerade medarbetare med en bred blandning av kompetenser och erfarenheter, spridda över flera platser i Sverige. Du kommer i din roll som konsult att bidra med din systemförståelse genom hela projektet, från utveckling till produktion, implementation och överlämning av nya radar- och sensorsystem. Du skapar tekniska underlag enligt kundens önskemål för att säkerställa att framtidens sensor- och radarsystem möter våra kunders höga förväntningar. Vi arbetar nära våra kunder för att säkerställa hög kvalitet i deras leveranser, och du kommer att ha en viktig roll i att navigera myndigheters arbetsflöden och processer.

Vem är du?

Vi ser gärna att du har en ingenjörsexamen eller annan likvärdig bakgrund, samt några års arbetslivserfarenhet. Du har ett tekniskt intresse, gärna med fokus på radar och sensorer, och har en god förmåga att uttrycka dig i tal och skrift både på svenska och engelska. Erfarenhet från försvar eller försvarsindustrin är meriterande.



Du behöver inte ha arbetat som konsult tidigare men du måste ha en förståelse för kundrelationer och vara lyhörd för kundens dynamiska behov. Du trivs i sociala sammanhang där du representerar Combitech, från intern samverkan till kund- och leverantörsbesök. Du samarbetar gärna med andra, men är också trygg i att arbeta självständigt. Du är lösningsorienterad, noggrann och tycker om att driva arbetet framåt mot uppsatta mål.

As a Development Engineer, you will hold a versatile position characterized by varying responsibilities and a dynamic workday. Your main focus will be on mechanical work, and you will also take a hands-on approach. You will have customer contact and act as technical support when questions arise, and when needed, travel to visit customers on-site. The role will be flexible and will also offer opportunities to work with software development and testing.

Examples of responsibilities include:

Drafting and organizing documentation for technical components.
Creating a drawing library (e.g., for hangers and brackets).
Preparing technical documentation for manufacturing.
Provide customer support related to products and software.
Potential on-site customer support during system commissioning.
Conduct visits to customers and, when needed, to the production site.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: 
Bachelor’s degree from a university in mechanics and/or mechatronics.
Knowledge of CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
Fluent in English and Swedish for communication both internally and externally.


Extra merit for experience in:

Software development (backend, embedded and/or frontend).
Wireless systems (Wifi, LoraWAN).

A Vehicle Integration Manager is responsible from the program initiation to product launch and program

Experience and Competence

As Lead Vehicle Integration Manager, you are expected to have a strong business mind-set as well as a solid background in hardware development and project management within an agile environment or experience in a Waterfall methodology setting. A strong technical foundation in hardware, specifically within cab, chassis, electrical systems, and eMobility installations, is crucial. 
Additional, you have previous experience as a project manager within automotive product development. You need to be an inspiring leader and have a positive mind-set. You have a strong drive and energy level and are able to communicate and provide a clear direction for the team. You see challenges as inspiring and have a high level of integrity and easily build trust.

Qualifications:
•    Engineering degree (BSc or MSc)
•    PMP and/or SAFE certification or equivalent project management certification is highly valued.
•    Many years of experience leading complex product development projects or Epics as Project Manager, Epic owner or similar
•    Extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware design, cab, chassis, electrical systems, and eMobility installation and/or Powertrain installation is a very strong merit.  
•    Knowledge about Truck application and customer usage.
•    Background from automotive product development is a strong merit. 
•    Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and build trust within your team.
•    Fluent in English.

You will work with optimizing our maintenance and ensure that our maintenance system is continuously updated in line with test rigs updates. You will work with our CMMS software MaintMaster, and our DCS/SCADA-systems for supporting systems (to our test rigs) and monitor operations, plan for updates, and optimize for uptime, cost and energy. We want you to lead our internal work in this area and be our part in rig and facility projects for facility control and monitoring systems. This position focus on Complete Vehicle test rigs in Campus Lundby and you will drive and secure process maintenance in our facilities, lead root cause analysis, set and optimize maintenance schedules etc. You will work closely with test rig owners and management to focus efforts in keeping and improving uptime and efficiency in all our testing facilities. You will have to opportunity to set guidelines for new projects on how to build and document such that it seamlessly fit our wanted maintenance activities.

Your future team

Our group, Vehicle Test Cells, is a member of the Complete Vehicle Laboratory department within Complete Vehicle in GTT. CV Lab serve several BA/BU with a wide range of solutions within testing.
We are a highly skilled and motivated team and are responsible for managing most of the fixed test rigs within Complete Vehicle in Lundby, ensuring that they are functioning correctly with high expectations on predictive uptime.
We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team!


Who are you?

Desired qualifications and experiences
* B.Sc., or similar relevant proven technical experience
* facility or process industry preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems, test equipment, HVAC or PLC’s
* working with process and facility control systems (DCS/SCADA) or CMMS systems is a merit
Swedish and English language 

To be successful in this position, we also see that it is key to have a strong drive to move forward and to solve problems by working in process or working creatively. You should to be a team player who enjoy building networks, and have an open and honest communication, together with structured and long-term mindset.

Our department has one of the largest experimental mechanics facilities in Sweden for R&D and commercial assignments related to material characterization, mechanical reliability, structural mechanics, and standardized testing.

The scientific expertise in our unit Mechanical Research and Innovation in Borås and Göteborg ranges from mechanical reliability, characterization of material properties and quality assurance of simulation models, to rock and soil mechanics, and large structures in steel and concrete.

About the role
You will work with the conception, planning and execution of a wide range of research and development projects, as well as contributing with your expertise in industrial consultancy projects.

You will be part of the team around at least one of our two research areas: Mechanics and Reliability that is focused on material characterization, mechanical reliability and life evaluation, validation methodology and uncertainty quantification (VVUQ); Building and Infrastructure that is focused on concrete and steel structures, rock mechanics, monitoring and assessment of existing structures. Your focus will be mechanical reliability in industrial applications, including fatigue, statistical modelling and reliability of mechanical systems, material properties, numerical modelling and uncertainty quantification.

You are expected to take initiative and individual responsibility for the tasks at hand, but you are also part of a team, in close collaboration with your colleagues, including our experienced engineers and technicians in the lab. You will work closely with external project partners and industrial clients, as well as with colleagues in other parts of RISE.

The placement for this position is Gothenburg.

Who are you?
You have a PhD in mechanical engineering or related areas, such as engineering physics or applied mathematics & statistics. Expertise in solid and structural mechanics is required, including numerical modelling skills. Experience in applying machine learning methods to mechanical applications and previous industrial experience are meritorious.

As a person you are well organized and have an interest in creating new business and projects, but also an ability to develop existing ones. You are open to collaboration and enjoy working in and contributing to a team, but you are also comfortable working independently. You bring energy to the team and contribute actively to the development of a stimulating research environment.

You have excellent communication skills in English, preferably also in Swedish.

Vem är du?
Vi söker dig som är beräkningsingenjör med åtminstone tre års erfarenhet av mekaniska beräkningar. Troligtvis har du läst maskinteknik och har en master inom applied mechanics från Chalmers eller annat universitet. Alternativt har du läst väg och vatten eller teknisk fysik, men viktigast är att du är väldigt intresserad av det vi gör på Uniso.
Det är viktigt att du har arbetat med mjukvaran ANSA och att du har erfarenhet av explicita analyser i LS-DYNA. Du behöver också kunna behärska svenska flytande.

What you will do
As a Logistics Engineer, Projects and Investigationsyou are responsible for developing and implementing efficient material flows and layout of the logistics flows from suppliers to Tuve plant. Main activities and responsibilities for this role:
Design internal and external logistics processes that utilize lean manufacturing concepts and engage stakeholders through explanation of facts, requirements and best practices
Define strategies to optimize procedures, minimize wastes, drive problem solving, and decrease logistics costs
Implement future material handling flows and all supporting physical and electronic processes and documentation
Investigate and start feasibility studies that support the plants masterplan

You will join a diverse logistics engineering team at the Tuve Plant, consisting of 20 engineers dedicated to both performance and transformation. We work closely with other local and global logistics departments, manufacturing engineers and project managers.

You are an analytical person with a strong interest in manufacturing and logistics development, a skilled problem solver with high ambitions of finding improvements and solutions to drive the plant forward. At the Driving Experience Centre within Product Creation at Client we are responsible for that our attributes within the area of Driving Dynamics and Noise Vibration and Harshness are supported in the vehicle programmes, both in terms of customer and legal requirements.
As a senior NVH development/test engineer you will get the chance to be involved in all project phases, from Advanced Engineering to vehicle production start, and with field and quality issues, contributing with analysis and guidelines to improve our attributes in our cars.

The role-What you’ll do
We are now looking for a NVH engineer with wide competence within the area. Knowledge within vehicle top hat development and high frequency NVH is meritious.
Your main responsibility will be to drive and perform NVH development, tests and analysis in complete vehicle and for different sub systems. You will propose improvements and drive necessary change together with involved design areas.
You will participate in the development of improved or new methods and measurement capability as well as in implementations of new software / hardware.
You should have knowledge of applied acoustics and be able to discuss and support the needs – it is together as a team that you will drive change.

Your Skills
We see that you have an M.Sc. in mechanical engineering, technical acoustics, engineering physics or similar and that you are competent in psycho acoustics, applied acoustics and related signal processing. Testing, Verification and Materials Technology (VT&MT;) is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of heavy-duty drivelines testing (engine, transmission, electromobility and Fuel Cells/Hydrogen) and materials technology laboratories. About the role
As a Laboratory Development Engineer, you will lead and deliver various development activities, where creativity, quality and flexibility are of prime importance and keys to success. You will be the technical advisor in our development projects for automation and simulation requirements. You will work in tight cooperation with Volvo test and verification engineers, maintenance and operation engineers, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
You will act as a mentor on the technical equipment and methods used in the lab and support teams with advice and educational courses. You will also balance your time between office work and work in the lab.
To develop your specialist knowledge, drive, and lead development to create sustainable solutions, strategies & methods within test cell automation and simulation activities. For example:
* Develop expert knowledge of our automation systems used in the test cells.
* Work with simulation models and integrate them with test objects in the test cell, either to simulate the remainder of the truck or serve as a digital twin for the test object.
* Develop new test sequences in the automation systems (involves programming to a certain level).
* Define automation systems requirements on new test cell investments.

This is what you will do 
You will have a cooling and hydraulic system development responsibility and will work close to the components to support development, strategies, and act as mentor for component engineers.  
Both cooling and hydraulic systems are split in different organisations within the company where key to success is collaboration and teamwork. The main task is to keep the propulsion part of the cooling and hydraulic system together and synchronized with other systems and organizations. Your daily work will include a wide range of activities such as setting roadmap for the future, agreeing on product requirements, creating and update test codes, provide input to hardware development, give recommendations, lead workshops and development work. Component development will be an important part to contribute in. You will be responsible through the whole chain from early development and roadmaps to maintenance, meaning that you are accountable for solving quality issues.  
As part of our group and Base Engine you are also expected to take part in continuous improvements and support on other tasks when possible.   
Who are you? 
We are looking for a person with great teamwork skills who enjoys developing yourself and your team, as well as interacting with colleagues and stakeholders. You have several years of experience from development of both mechanical and electrical fluid components. From early phase to maintenance. Other qualifications  
* You have a M.Sc. within Product Development or similar.

* You have at least 2 years of experience from development of fluid components such as coolant pumps and valves. This includes understanding of system and requirements, component testing, technical documentation as well as technical negotiations with suppliers.  
* Knowledge in mechatronics and understanding of SW and communication integration is also needed.  
* Knowledge in Creo is a requirement.

The ideal candidate has:  
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering area.
A minimum of five years of experience within Base Engine for combustion engines
Practical and theoretical knowledge of the product development process.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and flexibility in handling multiple tasks.
Leadership experience is meritorious and can step forward when needed.
Fluency in English, both in speaking and writing.

What you will do
You aspire to be a member of the cooling system group and be responsible for the development of fluid components for combustion, electromobility and fuel cell vehicles.

Together with a team you will work as a global component owner for different fluid component such as coolant pump and valves. You will set technical requirement of components and together with your colleagues, our collaboration partners and suppliers develop components according to technical specifications and important features as for example sustainability aspects. You will be responsible through the whole chain from early development and portfolio strategies to maintenance. Meaning that you also are accountable for solving quality issues.

The Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) department within Powertrain Engineering Sweden is responsible for the global platform development of exhaust after treatment systems for Volvo Group’s different products around the world. We are about 90 passionate and highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation.
To our Hardware Components Group we are now seeking a Senior Development engineer to the EATS muffler team.  As a Senior Development engineer, you will work with the mechanical HW component development, vehicle installation, product documentation and testing & verification of the complete EATS muffler. The EATS muffler is a very complex product with many integrated functions. You will in this position have the possibility to learn and work in a broad range within the mechanical engineering domain such as materials, mechanical integrity, noise, gas flow and mixing properties, thermal etc. The daily work will be performed in a small team in close collaboration with other functions internally and external suppliers. You will be involved in all different development stages from early concept development to industrialization and product maintenance.

At EE Implementation support our mission is to give support to the projects with their test vehicles and rigs within the Physical project build process.
We provide this based on our broad, deep and solid knowledge both of the traditional and the distributed Electrical system. This in combination with genuine complete truck and Volvo systems knowledge makes us an outstanding partner in a variety of EEE projects.


We are now looking for a Software Download/Vehicle Support Engineer, EE (Electrical Engineering).


Your main tasks as an SWDL/Vehicle Support engineer is to support the vehicle fleet with fault tracing and SWDL. You will also support early phase EE engineering, software downloading/programming and parameter setting of ECUs, trouble shooting of complex problems in lab/rig and truck environment.


The role includes a considerable amount of work in different Volvo facilities both inside and outside office / workshops and includes hands-on work on trucks.


When working at EE implementation support you will have the opportunity to travel and meet both dealers and end users.


To be able to take on this assignment we think you have experience from working with electrical and electronics in vehicles and also have a good understanding of vehicle electrical architecture.
Preferable you have a complete truck knowledge and with the complete vehicle perspective to be able to understand the product as an end user.


As a person, you are driven, innovative and you have a strong customer focus and a service minded attitude. We believe that you have the ability to work independently and take initiatives. It is important to be proactive!

About the role


As a Lead Design Engineer within Electrical Engineering in Project Management you are together with colleagues, responsible for electrical and automation systems design validation in facility and test cell development, assignments, and projects. You will analyze and understand incoming needs from internal customers, as well as needs and design requirements specifications for external suppliers.


You are expected to bring expertise in:
Tools (Elplan, ElproCad) and understanding for documentation system.
High level of knowledge in electricity, standards related to it and a good understanding of EMC, High Voltage and Low Voltage Directive.
Basic knowledge in, Electrical Safety, CE marking and machine directives.
Cable sizing, Measurement techniques and electronics, Signal handling and quality as well as PID regulator technology.
Test cell set-up and structure are meritorious.



As well as coaching and support with guidance in electrical engineering.


You will create sustainable solutions, strategies, methods and instructions within test cell electronics, electrical load units and measurement equipment aligned with future demands. Together with your team, you will take part in benchmarking different systems to create a test & development environment on a premium standard and quality level. Additionally, you will analyze rig specifications, translate to RFQ documentation and secure common standards, as well as defining technical solutions.
