It is a good merit to have experince in Functional Safety work or SW Quality work. The Functional Safety Manager will actively participate in the development of complex electrical / electronic systems according to ISO 26262 for safety-critical applications in the automotive domain, being responsible for ensuring that the appropriate level of safety, quality and reliability is achieved and maintained for the products throughout the project. This head task is performed in close cooperation with different functional areas within system, hardware and software development and supports directly the project managers of both the product supplier and the customer.

In additon, in the the SW-quality Engineer role, you shall check that the Tier 1 suppliers SW development process follows the OEMs requirements according to the A-Spice process. Internally, the SW Quality Engineer shall also asseess that the internal SW deliveries are up to process and fulfill the process quality requirements.

As SW lead for the Instrument Cluster component, you are responsible for the execution, configuration and issue management for the entire software package for the Instrument Cluster module. You should have awareness of automotive embedded software architecture. You must have experience in automotive software release cycles and tools, such as Teamcenter. You will be responsible for the Software Requirement Document, leading SW joint reviews, and managing the software execution of the component. It is very helpful to have knowledge of AutoSAR, Agile SW development methods, and Automotive-SPICE. You will work within a auto makers Infotainment & Driver Information Module Team. You will work in close cooperation with the system tester, the component owner, the Basetech team, and the software configuration and release team.
