Scope of work
You will start your journey through a Buddy program where you will learn from experienced colleagues in the department. As a Hydrographic Data Processor, you will have the opportunity to either learn the fundamentals of processing MBES (Multibeam Echo Sounder) data from scratch or use your previous experiences to become a key player in our team. You will be working with MBES data in both 3D- and 2D-environment.
The role entails, but is not limited to:
Monitor data quality by processing in accordance with project requirements
Perform QC (Quality Control) checks and correct errors in MBES data
Check and validate acceptance test results of bathymetrical and navigational equipment
Process bathymetric data with precision and attention to details
Provide reports and documentation to clients
Collaborate with team members in different departments to stay updated on project progress

All data processing at Clinton is office-based, no offshore work is applicable for this position.

Scope of work
As aGeophysicist at Clinton, you are responsible for processing data in accordance with project procedures and monitor quality of incoming geophysical data. Through daily collaboration with colleagues at the office and crew onboard our vessels, you make sure that the processing procedures are followed from start of a project, until final delivery to the client.
The role entails, but is not limited to:

First shift: 11/9 - 25/9
Second shift: 23/10 - 6/11

The position is for the above shifts with apossibility of continued employment.The crew consists of 5-7 onboard:one Master, one Mate, one Offshore Manager, one tothreeSurveyors and one Engineer (this role).

Who we are looking for
We believe you will succeed in this position if you have previous boat experience, prefer a variation in work tasks and enjoy travels. Since only one engineer is onboard at a time, it’s important that you are confident in independent troubleshooting of machine equipment and take initiative to come up with creative solutions. A genuine interest in technology is a plus!
Requirements:
Minimum MEOL, engineer officer class VII (maskinbefäl klass VII) or equivalent
Practical offshore experience of technical systems and machinery
The ability to communicate on a professional proficiency level in English
A valid basic safety certificate (STCW)

Scope of work

As an IT Specialist at Clinton Marine Survey, you will play an important role in ensuring the ongoing operation of our IT infrastructure. You will be the go-to person for technical issues and troubleshooting but also participate in important task of constantly improving our IT solutions.

The scope of the position includes, but is not limited to:

- Identify, troubleshoot and investigate technical issues related to computers, systems and networks

- Managing cloud services such as Office 365, Dropbox, remote control, file synchronization across platforms, WAN and network monitoring

- Coordinate and carry through IT-projects to improve technical solutions together with colleagues and suppliers

- Install, configurate, and monitor IT systems

- Monitor and optimize WAN solutions such as Starlink, fiber, 4G/5G and VSAT.

- Perform traffic steering and shaping using VPN, bonding and policies

- Order, install and set up equipment for new employees and platforms.

- Monitoring and maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure in office and platforms

- Perform first line support internally

- Stay updated on technical solutions available on the market in order to constantly improve our IT set-up both internally and externally.

The IT Specialist will report to the company’s Survey & Technical Director and work close with inhouse users and external suppliers.

Scope of work

The role as Technical Tender Coordinator is a full-time position located in our office in Frihamnen with walking distance to the city center and a spectacular view of the Gothenburg harbor.

You will report to the company’s CEO and work close with department directors as well as internal and external stakeholders to collect information for tender documentation. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into a proposal outlining the services we offer and terms of the contract.

The scope of the position also includes, but is not limited to:

- Structure tender documentation and take responsibility for time management of tender processes

- Compile technical solutions from client specifications

- Calculate pricing for projects together with CEO and department directors

- Manage incoming business offers, review and feedback to clients

- Follow-up leads and tender requests

- Gather and present statistics of tender processes

- Develop the tender workflow to maintain high ISO standards

- Update the project management system ongoing

Business travels in Sweden and Europe are conducted when needed.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 2-4 years or relevant work experience from a similar role

- Professional proficiency level in English and Swedish, spoken and written.

- Experience in MS-Office

- EU citizenship or a valid EU work permit

We have an opening for a fixed-term employment as Engineer on our vessel Northern Storm from 19/5 to 30/8.

Onboarding: 19-24/5
First shift: 24/5-7/6
Second shift: 5-19/7
Third shift: 16-30/8

The position includes travels within Europe and a chance to experience new places by having the ocean as your workplace for the summer. Who we are looking for

We believe that you will succeed in this position if you have previous boat experience, prefer a variation in work tasks, enjoy travelling and to see new places. Since only one engineer is on duty at a time, it’s important that you are confident in independent troubleshooting of machine equipment and take initiative to come up with creative solutions. A genuine interest in technology is important as well as a willingness to work in a team and help out in all parts of the survey operations.

Requirements:

- Minimum MEOL, engineer officer class VI (maskinbefäl klass VI) or equivalent STCW

- Practical offshore experience of technical systems and machinery

- An interest for technical solutions

- The ability to communicate on a professional proficiency level in English.

- EU or UK citizenship, residency in Sweden, Poland or the UK

Merits:

- Experience from the offshore survey industry

- Experience from diverse vessels with different technical set-ups

- Knowledge of the equipment of our vessel Northern Storm (see specifics above)

- Completed the program of Marine Engineer, Machine class V (Sjöingenjörsexamen)

- A valid basic safety certificate (STCW)

- The ability to communicate on a professional proficiency level in Swedish
