We are seeking a highly motivated RF Engineer with a background in RF and microwave engineering. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our engineering team on real-world design, testing, and development of RF systems and hardware.
Qualifications:
Background in RF and Microwave Engineering
Understanding of RF transceiver architectures and sub-blocks (LNAs, mixers, filters, PAs, etc.)
Experience with RF PCB design and layout in Altium Designer and ADS
Ability to read and understand RF component datasheets
Hands-on experience with soldering and mounting components (including ICs)
Familiarity with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good documentation and communication skills
Knowledge of antennas and full-wave EM simulators is a plus
Fluent English, both written and spoken
You must have a valid permit to work in Sweden



Responsibilities:
Design and test RF and microwave circuits, including full RF transceiver chains and sub-blocks
Read and interpret component datasheets to select suitable RF/microwave components
Schematic and PCB design using Altium Designer or similar tools
Prepare designs for fabrication and follow through the manufacturing process
Mount and solder ICs and passive components (including SMD)
Perform circuit bring-up, debugging, and testing
Use measurement tools such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and power meters
Document test procedures, results, and design iterations

As an RF System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and testing advanced antenna and beamforming technologies for ultra-low power IoT applications. You will work closely with our research and development team to create proof-of-concept demonstrations and develop testbeds. Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop mm-wave antennas and lens-based beamforming networks
· Implement a system-level analysis of the communication link
· Perform RF PCB design, fabrication, and testing
· Work with industry-standard communication and sensing waveforms, including OFDM and FMCW
· Develop and execute testbeds and proof-of-concept demonstrations
Qualifications:
Master’s degree with significant research experience, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics and Antennas, or Communication Systems
Strong expertise in antennas, RF design, and lens-based beamforming networks
Extensive experience with CST or HFSS for full-wave simulations
Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or KiCAD
Proficient in Python or Matlab programming
Familiarity with embedded systems is a plus

· Design and implement mmWave OFDM-based software-defined radio (SDR).
· Configure and program Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC using MATLAB/Simulink and Vivado.
· Perform algorithm partitioning between the FPGA logic (PL) and the ARM Cortex cores (PS).
· Integrate the RFSoC board with mmWave RF front-end components for end-to-end system functionality.
