Backstube is opening a new bakery cafe in Göteborg. Do you want to be part of our team?
We are looking for service minded, enthusiastic and positive colleagues who love working with food and want to put a smile on our customers faces.
There are several part-time positions as shop assistants available (20-80%).
What are your tasks?
. customer service, direct contact with guests (welcoming, advising, upsale, complaints)
. cashier routines, process payments
. preparing and baking of pastries and breads, preparing baguettes
. refilling food items and hot and cold drinks
. cleaning up the kitchen, storage, and sitting area
. maintaining quality, hygiene, and safety standards
. opening and closing responsibility
Who are you?
. As a service person you enjoy taking care of guests and helping your team.
. You have a great work capacity, enjoy high tempo and being active, and can handle stressful situations.
. You like to work in a team and can also take responsibility and initiative when working alone.
. You are curious, see solutions, work structured, and can multitask.
. You are open for constructive feedback and improvement.
. You understand the importance of quality and hygiene standards, as well as customer service.
. You are over 18 years old, and communicate well with colleagues and management, in a Scandinavian language.
. It´s great if you have similar previous work experience, but it´s not a must. We look for potential in all candidates and think highly of personal qualities.

. We offer initial and continuous training, possibilities for development and competitive conditions.
. The usual length of shifts is 5 hours, and the working hours will be from around 5:30 am till 10 pm. There are different shift times and types, from early morning, to midday, afternoon, and evening, including different focus tasks, like baking, cashier/customer service, making sandwiches and closing shift.
. The store will be open every day and you will have to expect to work every other weekend.
. Sometimes you work together with others and teamwork is required, while other times you work alone and are asked to take responsibility and initiative.
. Our first store is located at Göteborg Centralstation.
