Nexer Engineering Process is looking for experienced Test Automation Engineers for assignments with leading automotive customers in Sweden.
The need for test automation within the automotive industry is growing, and this role focuses on developing scalable, maintainable, and efficient automated test solutions.
Your role
You will work close to software and system development with a clear focus on automated testing within automotive environments.
You will be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
Defining and implementing test automation strategies based on requirements and development processes
Executing, monitoring, and evaluating automated test runs
Analyzing test results and reporting defects, deviations, and quality metrics
Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborating closely with developers, testers, and system engineers

Your profile
5+ years of experience in software testing and/or test automation
Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, Robot Framework, C#, or equivalent technologies
Experience working with automated testing in embedded and/or automotive software environments
Good understanding of software development lifecycles, verification, and validation
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Meritorious experience
Previous work experience within the Swedish automotive industry
Swedish language skills
Valid Swedish B driver’s license
Experience with CI/CD tools and test automation in continuous integration environments
Knowledge of automotive standards and development processes

Your role
You will be responsible for testing and validation of ADAS functions in real vehicles and controlled test environments.
Plan, execute, and evaluate tests for ADAS functions based on requirements and test strategies
Verify functional performance, robustness, and system behavior across relevant driving scenarios and conditions
Perform on-road, proving ground, and field testing
Collect, analyze, and evaluate test data; report results and deviations
Support testing in accordance with EHS regulations and applicable safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF where relevant)

Your profile
Valid Swedish B driving license
5+ years of experience in automotive testing, preferably within ADAS
Hands-on experience with vehicle-based, proving ground, and/or field testing
Good understanding of ADAS architectures and sensors (camera, radar, lidar)
Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
Familiarity with test and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Matlab, Python, or similar

The role
As a consultant, you will work with one of our long-term, qualified, and challenging assignments as a Test and Verification Engineer at one of our clients in the automotive industry. Examples of responsibilities in your assignment are to develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure the functionality, performance, and safety of our client's products. This role involves working with diverse testing methods, such as functional, performance, stress, and reliability testing. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to improve testing processes, stay up to date with industry trends, and provide valuable testing insights.

The role

The role
As a consultant, you will work with one of our long-term, qualified, and challenging assignments. An example of an assignment is to be part of a team to launch the actual software. You can handle properly quality-assured releases for production and after. As a HIL Test Engineer, you will execute complex test campaigns with multiple interfaces, both in vehicles and test benches. You will play a key role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to embedded control systems. Analyzing test data, summarizing, and communicating test results will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. In close collaboration with simulation, control, and systems engineers, you will analyze and identify cause-effect relationships between design and performance to specify, balance, and verify system requirements. Another aspect of the role involves developing innovative testing methods to improve the efficiency of the test campaigns and the accuracy of the test results.

The role

The role
As a consultant, you will work with one of our long-term, qualified, and challenging assignments. An example of an assignment is to be part of a team to launch the actual software. You can handle properly quality-assured releases for production and after. You can be responsible for planning the releases connected to all running vehicle programs and product development, as well as carrying out the actual release to the next level in the integration chain.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is structured and has a great interest in technology. You have no problem coordinating and setting proper plans to drive your work independently. Your character is driven, and you are able to take ownership and communicate effectively. You enjoy working with a wide range of contacts, cooperating with others and care about your relationships.
In addition to your personal qualities, you need:
Experience and understanding of Embedded Systems development.
Experience in software delivery planning and release management.
Experience working within the automotive industry or other relevant industries.
Experience working as a project manager and understanding of Agile methodologies.
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent work experience

The Role
As a consultant, you will work with one of our long-term, qualified, and challenging assignments. In the assignment as a Software Configuration Manager, you play an important part in the software release pipeline, delivery of new features, and creating software configurations for one of our client's range of products. Examples of responsibilities are managing the configuration needed for software, meeting the requirements of specific products, and relevant documentation.
Who are we looking for?
As a person, you are independent and responsible, structured, and have a great interest in technology. You are communicative, enjoy working with others in a team and have a wide range of contacts. You have a strong can-do attitude, a learning and problem-solving mindset, and the ability to drive tasks to completion.
In addition to your personal qualities, you need:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering
Very good understanding of Continuous Integration and software toolchains
Work experience in Embedded Software engineering
Knowledge of automotive technology
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Experience with working in a global and cross-functional organization

The Role

Examples of responsibilities in your assignment are to develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure the functionality, performance, and safety of our client's products. Your role will include various types of testing, such as functional, performance, stress, and reliability.
