About the role
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will develop testing and validation procedures to ensure devices work and communicate with each other as expected. You will work on system test solutions for in-vehicle networking systems for the vehicles of tomorrow. The objective is to develop test cases for new products and set guidelines for the validation process.
To succeed in this role, you are used to having contact and building relations with customers as you will be the contact person for Techteal’s customers in the area of system validation and for the development and design of test systems. Furthermore, you have excellent self-management skills and are professional and business-minded. Gradually you will take the lead, developing Techteal's products and solutions together with customers and suppliers in Germany.
This is consultancy employment, which means that you will be employed by Novare Potential and work as a consultant for our client during the first 9 months. During the first year, you will be offered support by us as an employer and an assigned mentor, who can guide you in, e.g., the industry, the Swedish work culture, expand your Swedish network, etc. In some cases, you can also be offered a free Swedish course digitally. After 9 months, you will be directly hired by Techteal Engineering, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. The employment is full-time (100 %). For the right candidate, the position can be started remotely. The starting date is as soon as possible.
Requirements
Experience in testing functions
Experience in software and data communication systems testing on lower level protocols such as Ethernet, preferably Integration tester, Function Owner, Requirements Engineer, Software Architect, Software Integration Tester, or System Test Engineer
Knowledge in requirements analysis and requirements creation, and validation.
Knowledge of the software product development process, preferably in the automotive industry, e.g., OEM, Tier 1.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to have
Knowledge of TSN, CAN(-FD), LIN and Automotive Ethernet
Knowledge of Java, Python, C++, and/or C#
Experience in the automotive industry (or be so passionate about vehicles/automobiles that you want to learn about it).
Other relevant information
You will work with amazing people that work in embedded systems, in real-time systems development and in test and logging solutions of Autonomous Drive (AD) and ADAS systems.
