Information about the position
Development at Qualisys is organized in small teams, each with a great deal of autonomy and ownership. You will work in a cross-functional team with developers and other experts and will have a key role in the development and testing of end-to-end biomechanics MoCap workflows. The role includes close collaboration with other teams as well as partner companies to make sure we build the right things.
At Qualisys, you are expected to be active in developing the company and our products. You are expected to take responsibility, and you are given the freedom to do so. The team owns the products it creates and has the power to decide how work should be prioritized. With that comes the responsibility to gather enough information about end-user products, customer needs and competition to be able to make educated decisions.

… are an experienced MoCap user in the field of Life Sciences (Biomechanics/Gait Analysis/Neurology or similar)
… have experience in combining high-end MoCap systems with third party equipment (e.g. force plates, EMG) to solve unique measurement needs
… take a structured and thorough approach to testing and problem solving
… like to demonstrate your team’s products to others (remote/in-person, requires travelling on occasion)
… have working proficiency in English

About you
We are looking for you, a person who is genuinely interested in developing products and examples that help our biomechanics customers to achieve their measurement goals. You like to do hands-on tests in a MoCap lab but also enjoy working with your team on what is happening behind the scenes to make biomechanical data collection and processing a seamless experience for our users. You have good problem-solving skills and can communicate your findings with your own and other teams. You like structure and have a keen sense for prioritizing and organizing your work. You are good at working independently when needed but enjoy reaching goals together as a team.
This role requires a great deal of hands-on work with the products that the team builds, so relocation to Gothenburg is required if you don’t live here already. If you are relocating from outside Sweden, you will feel right at home given the international atmosphere in our office!
