We are looking for an experienced and versatile Architect to take a leading role in the design and coordination of complex construction projects, with a focus on industrial and commercial developments. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, consultants, and site teams, and requires a proactive approach to both design leadership and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the architectural scope across all project stages, from early planning to construction delivery, including external environments and support facilities.
• Act as a central interface between design consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment.
• Develop and manage project documentation, technical submissions, and planning applications.
• Ensure integration and coordination across disciplines, using digital tools to streamline collaboration and information flow.
• Monitor construction activities on site, working closely with teams to ensure quality standards, timely progress, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Support procurement activities, including scope clarifications, bid evaluations, and negotiations.
• Uphold project delivery standards, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance throughout.
Requirements
• Degree in Architecture or related field; postgraduate studies in urban design or industrial architecture are a plus.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including in large-scale and technically complex projects.
• Strong understanding of Swedish construction norms and permitting frameworks.
• Confident working with project management systems and BIM platforms (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, Aconex).
• Skilled communicator able to manage diverse teams and maintain effective project coordination.
• Fluent in English; working knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
Desirable Skills
• Experience developing workflows for industrial operations or technical installations.
• Familiarity with digital collaboration platforms and design review tools.
• Interest in sustainable design, materials strategy, and process optimization.
