We are looking for an Experienced Product Owner to work on cloud development solutions in Gothenburg.

As a Product Owner at Wolters Kluwer, you will be part of Software development and work in close collaboration with developers and the scrum master with cloud portfolio development teams. Our department is growing, and we need to strengthen our team with a new PO. Our office is located in Gothenburg in a historical building in Amerikaskjulet by the waterfront. Our employees work according to a hybrid model and get to work 3 days from home. You will be co-located with other POs, PMs, Architects and UX. The Scandinavian development department has colleagues in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway plus several development teams located in India.
Our business is in Tax and Accounting, where our products help the Scandinavian market with their Tax and Closing of Book calculations. One advantage of working at Wolters Kluwer is that our customers are in the same time zone as us. The solutions we provide are primarily built by our Scandinavian development department but since Wolters Kluwer is a global company, we reuse components from other countries when applicable. Most of our products are deployed in Azure, built on services provided by Microsoft.
Job responsibilities
The Product Owner is the sole person responsible for managing the product backlog. Product backlog management includes:
Prioritizes and orders the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions.
Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the scrum team will work on next.
Ensuring the team understands items in the product backlog to the level needed.
Validates and accepts stories.
Planning and preparation in PI planning; reviews and reprioritizes the backlog. Coordinates dependencies with other POs, collaborates with product management and UX.



Required skills
Experience in the Product Owner role for a couple of years for a software development team that was applying Agile principles, practices, and theory.
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, continuous improvement and increasing transparency.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Beneficial if you have experience of working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Beneficial if you have experience working as a PO with an outsourced team.

POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will contribute to the design, implementation and automation of the services and the infrastructure used to provide our cloud services. You would be innovative and have great skills in system/network administration of complex architecture, with the obsession to automate every manual step that could be converted in code, so tested, tracked and reproduced. You have experience in operating and designing distributed systems, diagnosing and resolving complex problems.




JOB RESPONSABILITIES


You are working on improving our processes for continuous integration, continuous deployment, automated testing and release management.
You strive for the highest standards in terms of security.
Based on your expertise, you estimate correctly what impact the requirements have on the technology and applications.
You question requirements and designs and provide constructive input on this.
You understand complex application architectures; you work closely with the Scandinavian Chief Architect and the development teams.
You are naturally curious and have a genuine interest in keeping up with trends and technologies in the cloud industry.
Together with the ops team make sure that our cloud applications are secured, up and running according to our SLA

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
3+ years’ experience in a Cloud DevOps engineering role working with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub and other well-known tools).
Experience and knowledge in; IAC, ARM, YAML, Azure PaaS, Kubernetes, containers, Application insight, health monitoring,
Basic understanding about different software architecture styles, especially microservice architecture.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
At least basic level in Swedish.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
