What we believe your future assignment might include
Develop, design and implementation of FPGA-based solutions for cutting-edge applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA processes within broader system architectures.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the robustness and reliability of FPGA designs.
Document design processes and provide technical support during project lifecycles.



Qualifications and Desired Skills we see you probably will need
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Several years of hands-on experience with FPGA development using C, PLC, VHDL and/or Verilog.
Strong understanding of digital signal processing and system-on-chip design.
Skilled in using FPGA design tools such as Xilinx or/and Altera.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, with strong communication abilities.
Located in och close to Gothenburg City in Sweden.

Opportunities at 2550
We are looking for you as our next brilliant star within the RF field with interest in expanding your knowledge in different areas of forefront technology. Your development is in focus and you'll contribute to projects that have a great impact on society and a more sustainable future.
Your daily tasks might include:
Designing HW & PCB for radios, radars, and antennas
RF testing and verification
Defining technology roadmaps
Modelling and simulating wireless environments
Instrument remote control
Data analysis and visualization
Reviewing technical documentation to meet customer needs

Who Are You?
You're a rising star with a technical interest and an open mindset. To succeed, we believe you have:
A degree in electrical engineering or similar
Solid background in microwaves and RF
Hands-on experience with RF instruments and measurements
At least 4 years of industry experience or a PhD in a relevant field
Fluency in English



Additional skills that we see as a bonus:
Experience in antenna and PCB design
Programming skills (Python, Matlab, C++)
Experience with Agile teams and SAFe
Mathematical background
Knowledge in satellite communications, RFID, or IoT networks
Familiarity with RF regulations and standards
Experience drafting technical documents

As a Software Engineer at 2550, you’ll be able to work in meaningful and inspiring projects, in areas such as; HW Design, Software development, C-vision, cloud engineering, machine learning, AI and data analytics.
We specialize in being skilled within embedded systems, web applications, data visualization and production quality within a number of industries, among others telecommunications and automotive.
Example of tasks:
Back end and Front end development
Development of database structures
AI modelling and/or Machine learning development
Data analytics and/or could services
System architecture
Participating in meeting and delivering solutions to customers expectations and requests
