Position Overview:
As a Supply Chain Specialist at AKSAVA AB, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our supply chain from the ground up. Your primary focus will be to ensure the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to our restaurants, balancing quality, cost, and delivery efficiency. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and restaurant managers to support our growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that align with our startup’s goals and rapid growth plans.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients and materials at competitive prices.
- Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing waste and overstock.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and restaurant teams to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of supply chain issues.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, costs, and risks to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food and restaurant industry or a startup environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards is a plus.
