This is a brand-new position – a sign of our ambition to grow and strengthen our brand globally. As Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be hands-on in creating marketing activities that make BUMAX visible and relevant. You’ll work closely with your future manager Nimeka de Silva, Head of Marketing (UK-based), and collaborate and support colleagues globally. Your mission? To turn technical excellence into compelling stories that attract attention and generate business.

You’ll manage projects from concept to delivery: creating marketing materials, driving digital content, coordinating events and exhibitions, and supporting product marketing initiatives. You’ll be the one making sure our brand looks sharp, sounds right, and reaches the right people.

Vi ser att du har:
- Erfarenhet av teknisk B2B-försäljning, gärna inom komponenter eller material

Responsibilities
- Building of API, data pipelines between our internal and external systems to our Database.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cleaning and preprocessing the data.
- Actively communicates with the regions regarding master data, tools and processes too stakeholders.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Use statistical methods to conduct hypothesis testing and predictive modeling.
- Develop and apply data mining techniques to extract valuable business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools like Qlik Sense & Power BI.
- Translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Ensure reports and dashboards are user-friendly and accessible to non-technical users.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between the data engineering team and business units to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.

Qualifications & competences
- Several years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Educational background: degree in a Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have interest and experience in data engineering, ML & AI.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in , experience with BI tools (Qlik sense, Power BI, etc.), Testing and knowledge of programming languages (Python, R).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Curiosity: A strong desire to understand the ‘why’ behind data trends and patterns.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

YOUR ROLE
As Item Master Data Process & System Manager, you will report to our Global Quality Director. You will be responsible for continuous development of our processes and new tool, as well as finding, defining, documenting and implementing Best Practices across the group. You will be providing support to networks of process owners to develop and drive development together. You will also be responsible for the strategy and architecture of relevant tools as well as their maintenance and improvement.

Your approach should be based on an overall perspective and close collaboration with process and system owners in our companies in Europe, North America and Asia. You will work across several business functions, such as sales, purchasing, quality and operations.

Main responsibilities:

Driving IMD process & system development
Ensure all “standard” item data is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained in the system
Ensure that processes are in place, known and followed to make sure all “special” item data is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained in the system

About the position

We are looking for a Category Manager – Freight, to develop a World Class Supplier base for Transport and Logistics. You should be experienced and result-driven and have a strong will to develop the category and our partners as this will be your key responsibility.

You will be based in Bufab Center of Excellence Värnamo or Gothenburg, Sweden.

Your main responsibilities

-  Setting up a global sourcing strategy for the assigned category
- Drive the strategy and support lead buyers in the category team
- Develop the supplier base according to customer requirements to support the growth of Bufab
- Take the lead in managing global suppliers in the category and start consolidate the local suppliers
- Take the lead in managing top suppliers in the business units, both globally and locally
- Develop cost models and secure sustainability in the value chain
- Negotiate global contracts and price lists with preferred suppliers

- 10 years’ experience of international transports and logistic sourcing
- Extensive knowledge of transportation, freights and logistics

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Category Manager Fasteners to develop a world class supplier base.

Your key focus will be to develop the category and the supplier base.

 

Main responsibilities

- Set up a global sourcing strategy for the assigned category
- Drive strategy implementation steering lead buyers in the category team
- Develop the supplier base according to the customer requirements to support growth of Bufab
- Take the lead in managing global suppliers in the category
- Develop cost models for different manufacturing processes
- Negotiate global contracts and price lists with preferred suppliers
- Build trust towards our sister companies to remain a long-term relationship
- Coordinate with our sister companies on projects and report regularly to the Business Unit Sourcing Director on progress and target achievement

 

About you

You are a business leader with broad experience of production and assembly who understands the requirements to drive the business forward. Previous experience of global business and to support multi-functional projects in an international work environment with remote locations are required to succeed in this role. You need to be willing to travel extensively in Europe and Asia.

 

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain
- 10 years’ experience in an international sourcing organization
- Excellent and driven negotiator
- Good communicator and able to make yourself understood at any level of the business
- Positive mindset, with a strong interest in developing relationships with stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial and with a “solutionist” mindset
- Action and goal-oriented team player with a high degree of self-management
- Fluency in English required, other languages meritorious
