About the role
Want a hands-on role at the intersection of science, logistics, and customer support? As a Site Specialist in our Managed Services team, you’ll work directly at a customer site in Gothenburg, Sweden, helping their research and supply chain operations run smoothly every day.
Managed Services is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Customer Channels Group. We provide on-site services that support laboratories and research environments — making work safer, faster, and more efficient for scientists.
This role is ideal if you enjoy varied tasks, working independently, and being close to real scientific work, even if you’re early in your career.

What you’ll do


Run stockroom and inventory services (receiving, replenishment, cycle counts)



Support laboratory operations (glassware cleaning, media prep, chemical tracking, waste handling)



Manage orders and customer procurement systems



Coordinate deliveries and direct shipments



Provide day-to-day customer support on-site



Follow SOPs and represent Thermo Fisher Scientific professionally.

About Sweden
There are nearly 1,000 Thermo Fisher Scientific employees based across five different locations in Sweden. Our biggest site in Uppsala develops, manufactures, and markets allergy tests and diagnostic systems. In central Stockholm we have two smaller offices that support customers with analytical, diagnostic and research related products, instruments and services. On the west coast in Gothenburg our newly built warehouse and office works with a wide range of laboratory equipment and consumables. On the outskirts of Ängelholm in southern Sweden ca. 40 people are dedicated to producing and extracting top-quality raw materials used in allergy tests and other health products.
How will you make an impact?
The Tender/Contract Specialist is responsible for the development of business proposals and ensures the coordination and execution of the activities related to tenders and contracts with public and private entities, in compliance with the law and procedures of the company.
The Tender & Contract Specialist will have overall responsibility for support to RSD business in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. This position also includes a close collaboration with the EU Contract Specialist to ensure that local tenders are implemented accurately.
This role is located in Gothenburg Sweden where you’ll have a team to support you or you can work remotely from your home.
What will you do?
Responsible for effective end to end administration of designated Tenders / Request for Proposal (RFP’s) or Request for Information (RFI's)
Working within customer specific portals, manage all the documentation needed to participate to tenders acting as project coordinator
Conduct the “first-pass” of each proposal to respond to questions by researching the appropriate knowledge databases
Prepare all relevant tender documents by verifying all the administrative and technical requirements and ensure written formal tender proposal response

Experience

Fluent Swedish and English, additional Nordic languages an advantage
Skilled communicator with team members and stakeholders in a cross-functional environment

Our biggest site in Uppsala develops, manufactures, and markets allergy tests and diagnostic systems. How will you make an impact?
We are looking for someone from background in order management and customer quotations with strong focus on customer excellence to join our team of experienced Tender/Contract specialists. The role will be to support the Tender/Contract Specialist throughout the tender process ensuring the coordination and execution of the activities related to tenders and contracts with public and private entities, in compliance with the law and procedures of the company.
The Tender & Contract Specialist will support the RSD business in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. This position also includes a close collaboration with the EU Contract Specialist to ensure that local tenders are implemented accurately.
This role is located in Gothenburg Sweden where you’ll have a team to support you or you can work remotely from your home.
What will you do?
Scan for all applicable opportunities: download and upload documentation and work within customer specific portals
Management of tender and related documentation on the different electronic platforms
Seek an early decision on whether to submit a tender or not and assemble the tender response team
Providing formal/administrative content of the Tender response. Support the project coordinator to ensure all customer files for the Tenders are collected, prepared and ready for submission.
Support the tender specialist with the ordering and dispatch of required tender samples
Support activities between all stakeholder functions throughout the duration of the tender process.
Support consolidation of the final tender response and ensure timely submission through appropriate media
Manage electronic archiving of documents in accordance with established criteria
Maintain a database / library of Tender/RFP responses to questions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of tender processes
Provide to stakeholders all relevant documents resulting from the tender award to secure orders and long-term tender implementation
Manage the pipeline and contract renewals

How will you get here?
Secondary education or higher

Experience
Knowledge of basic administration management / Quotations, Customer Service, Sales Support or similar
Scientific background desirable but not essential
Experience in project coordination

Thermo Fisher is looking for a Tender & Contract Specialist who will be responsible for the development of business proposals and ensures the coordination and execution of the activities related to tenders and contracts with public and private entities, in compliance with the law and procedures of the company.
The Tender & Contract Specialist will have overall responsibility for support to RSD business in Finland or Sweden and backfill other Nordic countries when needed. This position also includes a close collaboration with the EU Contract Specialist to ensure that local tenders are implemented accurately.
In this role you will have a remote team to support you. We offer a possibility to work remotely from your home office or alternatively our office in Vantaa or Gothenburg.
What will you do?
Responsible for effective end to end administration of designated Tenders / Request for Proposal (RFP’s) or Request for Information (RFI's) workload
Prepare all relevant tender documents by verifying all the administrative and technical requirements and ensure written formal tender proposal response
Track, download and upload documentation and work within customer specific portals
Coordinate activities between all Functions and Sales throughout the duration of the tender process
Create and execute a Plan to be shared with all the tender stakeholders in order to manage the documentation needed to participate to tenders
Conducts the “first-pass” of each proposal and provide the answers to the questions by researching the appropriate knowledge database
Act as gate keeper and project coordinator to ensure all customer files for the Tenders are collected, prepared and ready for submission
Maintain a database / library of Tender/RFP responses to questions
Provide regular updates to the different functions of the tender process
Contribute to improve win rates
Provide to internal functions and customer all relevant documents resulting from the tender award to secure orders and long-term tender implementation
