What you’ll be doing

As a Developer at Humblebee, you will be working in a multidisciplinary product team together with other developers and designers to create the best possible digital products and services for our clients. In our way of working, we build multidisciplinary product teams that work closely with our clients.

Our purpose at Humblebee is to build what’s needed, meaning that our software should reflect the client’s business, not be just a technical-jargon construct.

You will be using technologies like JavaScript/Typescript, React, Node.js, GraphQL to build high performing, reliable and secure software.

Are you constantly experimenting with modern technologies to find new and improved ways of building things? Do you spread energy and inspire your team members?

We're looking for an experienced developer to join our team in Gothenburg. It doesn’t matter that much if you call yourself front-end, back-end or full stack. The most important thing is that you’re good at programming and web development in general, and that you love developing great experiences and building what’s needed.

Your focus is the JavaScript stack, and you should have experience with either Node.js or React. You also have an interest in technologies like Serverless architecture, Headless CMS etc.

We work in a collaborative environment (design sprints, development sprints, workshops with clients etc.) and therefore we employ people who are empathetic, kind, patient and gracious. We are Humblebee.

Humblebee is a digital service studio based in Sweden, and we’re looking to add key people like you to our fantastic team.

Is this you?

We are currently looking to employ a Cloud Architect. We think you are interested in taking a leading role in the dev team, and that you are as excited as we are by what can be built with cloud technologies. Because we are champions of cross-functional teams, we work actively to remove the divide between tech and design.

Humblebee’s tech stack has been heavily focused on Node, React, GraphQL and serverless technologies for the last years. We are expecting to evolve with more languages as our assignments grow in complexity. Our implementations are centered around the Big Three clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) in which we think you probably already have a bit of experience. Ideally you have worked with microservices and event-driven architectures since that’s a pattern that we use a lot and happen to fit our clients very well.

What you will be doing:

- Advise, develop and coordinate secure and scalable cloud architectures that meets customer and project requirements

- Advise customers on selection of cloud services and technology platform setup

- Inspire the team to deliver on the Humblebee architecture strategy

- Create, present and propose solutions through presentations, maps, diagrams, IaC files and any other means

- Setup metrics and diagnostic tools to calculate spend and usage of services

- Setup pipelines that automate deployment and releasing of our software

- Interface with the customer’s IT/tech organization, ensure relevant compliance, and provide assistance for them to integrate the solution

- Create high-level (proof-of-concept) implementations when needed

You are as important as your skills

We are looking for 5 talents that will form our Hive student lab team.
The goal is to get a good mix of UX designers, Developers, (digital) Product Designers, Business designers, Service designers, digital artists or whatever strong skills you can bring to the team.

The Hive team will be responsible for driving a user-centered design process to explore a defined opportunity space together with a partner company and developing a digital service. The process usually follows Humblebee's way of working:

Starting with rapid field research to understand the user's needs and pains, which hopefully opens a gap in the market where we can develop a digital service. Then using an array of user journey creation tools and ideation techniques we build prioritized prototypes that are visually ready for testing. To validate our prototypes as effectively and quickly as possible we test on real users and make sure we get the most valuable feedback possible. Based upon our user testings & findings we are able to pivot and iterate our prototype accordingly. Simultaneously with our prototyping process, we start designing a business model to make sure the idea has concrete financial foundations. The Hive project should end up not with a minimum viable product (MVP) but a minimum delightful product. We ensure our MVP’s are MDP’s. Pixel sharp and crafted with care.

Although you - the Hivers - are responsible for the process, you will get the best support from the rest of the Humblebee staff. The Hive team have their desks right in the heart of the Humblebee office and every Hiver is assigned a personal mentor for the entire Hive journey. The mentors are all senior Humblebee staff, allocated to match your competence (service design, UX, dev, etc.).

The internship spans from over approx 5 months and we try to tailor the workload to fit what you simultaneously need to do for your education. For example, we have had Hivers working 75% on the project and have 25% time for their thesis creation. In that way, they can write a master thesis based on the Hive project.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship. Visa mindre

As we are exploring the world of native apps we're looking for an experienced mobile application developer to join our team in Gothenburg. Maybe you are a web developer working on side projects in React Native or Flutter, or an experienced native app developer heavily into Swift or Kotlin. It doesn’t really matter. The most important thing is that you’re good at programming, and that you love developing great experiences and building what’s needed

- You're experienced in React Native and maybe also other frameworks like Flutter.

- You might have some experience in Swift and/or Kotlin.

- You love working with Javascript and Typescript.

- You communicate via API:s, preferably Node.js and GraphQL

- You're interested in technologies like Serverless architecture, Headless CMS etc.

- You enjoy collaborating with a multi disciplinary, multi cultural team.

- You experiment with new technologies.

- You spread energy and inspire your team members.

Our way of working
Our work is naturally driven by UX and service design. We extend this notion when it comes to architecture and technical solutions by also being informed by domain-driven design meaning that our software should reflect the client’s business, not be just a technical-jargon construct. We prefer microservices rather than monoliths and love the cloud and the possibilities that it gives for creating performant, reliable and secure applications that can scale over time.

Perhaps you saw one of the articles on? our website (https://www.humblebee.se/stories)?and thought we sounded like the place you'd like to spend your days??However you found us, we’re happy you did :)? Humblebee is a digital service design studio based in Sweden, and we’re looking to add key people to our fantastic team.

What we're looking for:?

We believe that you have extensive experience and solid skills from the digital service design toolbox. You can ideate, prototype, iterate and validate all the way from early concept to MVP and beyond. You are comfortable facilitating workshops and research activities. We also believe that you know how to navigate complex organisational environments and have excellent stakeholder management skills.

What we expect from you:

Service design is about planning and increasing the quality of an organisation’s total service offer, including people, infrastructure, communication and products. As a service designer you take these factors into consideration when designing a seamless service experience to help the customer complete his/her goal.

The very nature of services often requires collaboration with several different parts of a client’s organisation to make things happen. As a service designer you facilitate collaboration with different stakeholders to create services that are cohesive and deliver value to the organisation.

You will identify service opportunities and service feasability through research and workshops to make research findings tangible for stakeholders and product team.

Getting things in the hands of users quickly and collecting learnings is fundamental here at Humblebee. As a service designer you prototype services to rapidly answer the most crucial questions and start iterating.

You are as important as your skills

We employ people as much for human traits as competence and skill sets. We like good humans around us. We work in a collaborative environment (design sprints, development sprints, workshops with clients etc) and therefore we employ people who are empathetic, kind, patient and gracious.

The internship spans from January 30th to May 31st and we try to tailor the workload to fit what you simultaneously need to do for your education. For example we have had Hivers working 75% in the project and have 25% time for their thesis creation. In that way they can write a master thesis based on the Hive project.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship.

We handle applications when they come in and are presently interviewing candidates, so apply soon to take up this unique opportunity. Last date of application is 10th of December 2022. We're looking forward to your application! Visa mindre

Maybe you saw? (https://medium.com/wearehumblebee/product-development-at-humblebee-5a63b18a78cd)?and thought it sounded exactly like the place you'd like to spend your days??

What we’re looking for:

As the complexity of our assignments have been increasing, we now see the need to start working even more with data and hire our first data scientist at Humblebee. As this is a new role at Humblebee you will have a lot of freedom to influence our way of working and maybe even head up a data science team further down the road.

We think that you have been working with data science for around 5 years or more. You have a strategic mindset and experience navigating complex business environments and know how to leverage the right kind of data to impact product creation.

You have strong skills in mathematics and statistical analysis, and you know your way around data visualization tools. As this is a new area for Humblebee you can use whatever tools you prefer to get the job done, if that means Python or Matlab, Tableu or SAS or something else is entirely up to you. There is no previous tech stack that you need to adjust to in the data area.

What we expect from you:

As a data scientist at Humblebee you will be our subject matter expert on all things data. You will be working with multiple product teams, advising them on how to leverage data to improve their products and services or even use it to build new ones. You enjoy being in client facing roles and taking an advisory role, helping clients and product teams get to the next level in their data use.

While the role is strategic in nature, you will also get down to nitty and gritty of extracting, cleaning and visualizing data.

We also think that you are enthusiastic about building up a new area from scratch here at Humblebee, using everything you’ve learned in your previous roles to set up processes, tech stack and way of working the way you want it.

You are as important as your skills

We employ people as much for their human traits as their competence and skill sets. We like good humans around us. What we're looking for:
We're looking for an experienced developer to join our team in Gothenburg. It doesn’t matter that much if you call yourself front-end, back-end or full stack. The most important thing is that you’re good at programming and web development in general, and that you love developing great experiences and building what’s needed.

Together with the team, you will work closely with current and new clients to create digital products and services. Your main focus is the Javascript stack, and you should have good experience with both Node.js and React.

What we would expect from you:
- You love working with Javascript and Typescript.
- You're experienced in React and/or other frameworks like Angular, Vue etc.
- You communicate via API:s, preferably Node.js and GraphQL

Are you ready to work at Sweden's outstanding digital product & service company?

Why not join a workplace that gives you freedom, inspiration, incredible colleagues and a chance to work the way you want with projects you'll love.?

Maybe you saw? (https://medium.com/wearehumblebee/product-development-at-humblebee-5a63b18a78cd)? and thought it sounded exactly like the place you'd like to spend your days??

What we’re looking for

Our team of developers and architects is growing and we're looking for a new Tech Lead to join our team. You will be working closely with our Tech Director Johan (https://www.linkedin.com/in/johanuddstahl/) and Tech Lead Tobias (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tobiassunnanangs/) in managing the development team at Humblebee.

Maybe you're a Senior Developer who enjoys mentoring and coaching other developers? Maybe you've already worked as a Technical Lead or Technical Manager for a while and you're looking for a change of scenery? Either way we have interesting challenges and plenty of opportunities for you to grow and learn.

Our way of working

Our work is driven by the user experience. We extend this notion to technical architecture and solutions by being informed by domain-driven design, meaning our software should reflect the client’s business and not be just a technical-jargon construct. We prefer micro-services rather than monoliths and love the cloud and the possibilities it gives for creating performant, reliable and secure applications that scale over time.

What we expect from you

As a Tech Lead at Humblebee you'll be managing a team of developers. This mean you will be conducting salary and performance reviews, as well as driving team performance by coaching and supporting developers and architects. In this role you will also play a key part in hiring and resource allocation for the development team.

Since this isn’t just any team lead role, but a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in the development of our tech stack, tools and working methods. You will become one of the “go to people” for software development best practice questions.

In addition to managing the team, all our leads also work on client assignments as part of a cross functional product team. Most of the time that means you will be responsible for setting the architecture and/or managing the product team.

You are as important as your skills

Are you ready to work at Sweden's outstanding digital product & service company?

Why not join a workplace that gives you freedom, inspiration, incredible colleagues and a chance to work the way you want with projects you'll love.?

Maybe you saw? (https://medium.com/wearehumblebee/product-development-at-humblebee-5a63b18a78cd)?and thought it sounded exactly like the place you'd like to spend your days??

What we’re looking for:

Our team of Bees have been growing and we’re looking for a new User Experience Design Lead to join our team. You will be working closely with our UX Design Director Daniel Sköld (https://www.linkedin.com/in/skolddaniel/) in managing the UX design team at Humblebee.

We’re looking for a UX Designer with 4-6 years UX experience. You can ideate, prototype, iterate and validate all the way from early concept to MVP and beyond. You’ve got your UX Design toolbox and you know how to help teams build great products.

As this is a lead role we expect you to have experience leading teams and people. You understand team dynamics and know how to build effective teams. You enjoy helping people grow and reach their goals.

What we expect from you:

As a UX Design Lead at Humblebee you will be people manager for a team of designers. This means you will be conducting salary and performance reviews, as well as driving team performance by coaching and supporting our UX team. In this role you will play a key part in hiring and resource allocation for the team.

In addition to managing the team, all our leads are also work hands-on with client assignments as part of a cross functional product team. Most of the time that means responsibility for setting the UX Design and/or managing a cross-functional product team.

We think that the split between hands-on project stuff and managerial fiddling will be about 50/50, but you will of course have a lot of freedom in how you want to shape the role. Imagine this, it’s a Monday and you are leading your team’s daily standup. After that you’re preparing a design workshop until lunch. In the afternoon you’re interviewing a candidate for a UX role and then you have 1on1’s with two of your UX design team members. It’s this type of mix that we think you will enjoy.
