You need a good understanding of Life Science or healthcare linked to business development, marketing, and communication to succeed in this role. You should have worked with communication and/or investor relations previously. For the role, we are primarily looking for someone meeting the following criteria:
Primary responsibilities
Work closely with our biotech/medtech clients to build and maintain impactful company profiles toward key stakeholders
In collaboration with team members, drive flawless and timely project execution and cultivate strong client relationships
Participate in development of clients’ marketing communication strategies and tactics; collaborates with multiple stakeholders to ensure consensus around tactics’ scope and approach
Lead and support day-to-day client contact in executing ad hoc requests and delivering planned activities and materials
Draft content for client materials e.g., press releases, infographics, fact sheets, social media posts
Develop client materials such as corporate presentations and financial reports.
Prepare and execute activities connected to financing rounds, e.g. roadshows, media outreach, materials development – online and offline.
Update and maintain client websites and social media channels to provide up-to-date information for key stakeholders.
As a member of our team, you will also contribute to the team culture as well as contribute to bringing in new business.

Qualifications
Approximately 3-5 years of work experience related to communication, marketing, finance, business, journalism, etc.
Must demonstrate a strong understanding and interest in life science/ biotechnology/healthcare from education or previous experience.
Demonstrated agency/consulting experience.
Accustomed to working with a range of different communication channels towards different audiences; financial reports, press releases, company presentations, website, social media, PR, equity analysts, etc.
An eye for design and copy to create impactful materials.
Has a good understanding of social media vehicles and is comfortable managing and drafting communications around them
Independent thinker confident in taking ownership of assets and material development, but a team player who enjoys collaboration
Strong written and oral communication and presentations skills in English, a plus if also in Swedish
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
Previous experience with relevant tools like Cision, MFN, WordPress, YouTube Studio, Canva, and other social media tools
Investor relations experience and understanding of the regulatory environment for publicly listed Nordic companies is a plus, but not a requirement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our management consultants are case team leaders and client contacts.
Work across a range of bio/medtech clients with C-level executives in defining and delivering projects that have a lasting impact on the client’s competitive positioning and company value.
Become a trusted ally to the management teams of our biotech clients working to identify opportunities, craft and execute business development strategies.
Serve as the daily client contact, taking briefs as well as providing proactive counsel on new approaches or ideas that will help meet clients’ broader objectives.
Perform interviews with the client’s project team and industry experts (physicians, company leaders, subject matter authorities) to extract strategic insights.
Internally, you will define project methodology and lead associates and other consultants to achieve the goals of your case assignments. This means preparing client questions, workshop material and deliveries on tight deadlines.
Drive upsales on current clients, support lead generation and development of new business opportunities.



QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify as Management Consultant, we expect 4-5 years of relevant work experience within the field of Life Science, preferably in the role as consultant
Demonstrated experience of preparing investment presentations, business plans, market analysis, valuation, assessment of competitors, decision-making material to support strategic decisions, prospectus/investment memos, partnering material, licensing packages, etc.
Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish – both verbally and in writing
Solid understanding of economic, financial and general business concepts and terminology
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and perform with a sense of urgency and client service orientation
Experience from relevant databases (e.g. Informa suite, EvaluatePharma, GlobalData, Clarivate, Elsevier, Pubmed, ClinicalTrials, Monocl Professional, etc)

Our office is located in Göteborg, Sweden but for the right candidate we are open to consider alternate arrangements. Since the outbreak of covid-19, we have successfully been collaborating over Zoom, Teams and Slack from home following public health official's recommendations. Under normal circumstances we enjoy quarterly celebrations, afterworks and any excuse to throw another party – but in 2020 this has been replaced by digital meetups and corona safe outdoor activities.
