Scope of work
At Njord Survey you will start your journey through a Buddy program where you will learn from experienced colleagues in the department. As a Summer Hydrographic Data Processor, you will gain practical experience in processing Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) data and learn how professional hydrographic workflows operate in real projects.
This role is designed as a learning opportunity where you will build valuable skills for your future career in marine surveying and geospatial data processing.
You will be working with MBES data in both 3D and 2D environments.
The role entails, but is not limited to:

Assist in processing hydrographic survey data in accordance with project requirements


Support Quality Control (QC) checks and correction of MBES data


Help validate bathymetric and navigational equipment data


Contribute to precise bathymetric data processing


Support preparation of reports and documentation


Collaborate with team members across departments to follow project progress


All data processing at Njord Survey is office-based — no offshore work is included in this position.

Requirements
Ongoing bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marine Science, Geoscience, Engineering or related scientific/technical field

Scope of work:
We have an opening for a fixed-term position (vikariat) as Engineer on our vessel Northern Storm from 22/10-17/12 2025, to cover for an employee who is on leave from work. First shift: 22/10 - 5/11
Second shift: 3/12 - 17/12 The position includes travels in Europe and a chance to experience new places. Who we are looking for
We believe that you will succeed in this position if you have previous boat experience, prefer a variation in work tasks, enjoy travelling and to see new places. Since only one engineer is on duty at a time, it’s important that you are confident in independent troubleshooting of machine equipment and take initiative to come up with creative solutions. A genuine interest in technology is important for our success.
Requirements:
STCW Engine Certificate
A valid basic safety certificate (STCW)
EU citizenship or a valid EU work permit
Practical offshore experience of technical systems and machinery
An interest for technical solutions
The ability to communicate on a professional proficiency level in English.

Experience from diverse vessels with different technical set-ups

Key Responsibilities
As an Onsite IT Specialist at Njord Survey, you will play an important role in ensuring the ongoing operation and development of our IT infrastructure.
The scope of the position includes, but is not limited to:
Microsoft 365 Administration: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) to ensure seamless user experiences.
Endpoint Management with Intune: Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM), ensuring compliance and security policies are enforced.
Security with Microsoft Defender: Implement and monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud Apps to protect against threats, investigate alerts, and respond to incidents in close cooperation with our SOC.
Cloud Solutions Support: Manage and support cloud resources, including virtual machines, and Postgre databases, storage and networking.
On-Site Technical Support: Deliver first-line technical support for hardware, software, and local network issues, including user onboarding, device provisioning, printer setup, and peripheral troubleshooting.
Remote Access & Parsec Optimization: Administer and optimize remote access solutions such as Parsec and RDP to support graphical applications both on-site and international colleagues.
IT Environment Optimization: Support ongoing alignment of IT processes, policies, and technical configurations with ISO 27001 standards, focusing on endpoint security, access control, secure device management, and automation.

The Onsite IT Specialist will report to the company’s Survey & Technical Director and work close with inhouse users and external suppliers.
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
2+ years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, or Azure
Professional proficiency level in English and Swedish, spoken and written.
Proven experience in on-site technical support and end-user interaction.
Since the position is based at the Gothenburg office, work visa in Sweden is a requirement

Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.

Scope of work:
The role as Project Manager is a full-time position located in our office in Frihamnen, Gothenburg with a spectacular view of the Gothenburg harbour.
As a Project Manager you are responsible for all steps in the project process, including to planning, leading and follow-up projects from start to finish. You will report and work close to the company’s Project Director to ensure high quality deliveries to our clients. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Client relationship management, incl main point of contact for client communication and follow-up during projects
Ensuring effective resolution of conflicts
Successful delivery of projects according to agreed schedules
Ensure effective project control to deliver on schedule, budget and HSEQ parameters
Lead external and internal kick-off meetings, project meetings, lessons learned meetings
Responsible for project documentation (Project plan, Quality Plan, HSE plan) and ensure is set up and filled in properly prior to start of new projects
Filling in project information in Reports of different kind.
Working closely with the Department managers, Team leads/supervisors and Offshore Manager to ensure plan and monitor project activity
Coordinate and follow-up HSEQ incident reports in the projects and present statistics
Responsible lead for project budget including monitoring of hours and costs for projects
Responsibility for invoice preparation and approval by the client ensuring timely payment
Lead of internal projects including planning of budget, time and resources together with Project Director
Sharing regular updates with the Project Director

In the role as Project Manager, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to internal- and external marketing and communication strategies. Business travels in Sweden and Europe are conducted when needed.

In the role as a CAD & GIS Designer at Njord Survey, you will handling spatial information in various file formats. Both as products in chart production and databases as well as in planning.
You will be working with several different departments in the company depending on projects, both as a supporting role as well as a lead in certain project related tasks.
