At NA-KD, we are passionate about great visual design and are now looking for an equally passionate Senior Design Lead to work within our Creative Communication team.
The Role & the Team
As the Senior Design Lead, you will work directly with the Head of Creative Communication in elevating visual communications (design) and build up NA-KD’s brand characteristics through a consistent and evolving campaign design system to be executed across all channels.
You will own the visual design ecosystem with a strong focus on digital/motion design for web/mobile. You will be responsible for developing our in-house design team by bringing inspiration from art, design, typography, illustration, and video.
You will also be hands-on, working on the most strategic projects for our collabs and private label campaigns, responsible for driving high impact, and collaborating with web designers, web editors, front-end developers, and motion designers.
This role will work closely with our Marketing, Social Media, CRM & Performance teams, being the creative consultant for applied brand design within campaigns and internal communication.
More about the role
- Lead, inspire and guide the Digital & Motion Design team.
- Develop and implement best processes and practices for visual/motion design.
- Forming visual ideas, creating visual proposals, and overseeing the design output.
- Taking responsibility for the entire design process from research, ideation, and execution until delivery.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Marketing, Social Media, and Internal stakeholders in providing exceptional and crafted visual solutions.
- To implement and drive design best-practices for our brand and channels.
- Build and maintain our Brand Design System & Guidelines.
- Responsible for all design approvals together with the Head of Creative Comms.
- Plan and organize the Design team workload according to the content calendar.
- The role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Your Past & Your Skills
- You bring a minimum of 3+ years of work experience as a Senior Designer/Art Director in a creative design team, prior experience in fashion and lifestyle segments is a plus.
- Contemporary visual-design background with extensive brand digital design experience; knowledge of design systems, brand architecture, social media design, display, and CRM channels.
- Strong skills in brand design, logo creation, and typography.
- Experience designing for desktop and mobile web, and knowledge in moving pictures and interactive media, with a good understanding of motion design or video editing.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of tools such as Adobe XD & Figma.
- Capable of organized delivery, process-oriented and collaborative; driven with care to quality, as you are an open, positive, flexible, professional team player.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
