As Pricing Actuary you will…
…have the opportunity to participate in developing actuarial models and risk calculations for pricing in a growing company. Since Cardif's strength is to deliver tailor-made insurance solutions, actuaries are an important part of the construction of the offers in the company.
In this role you will work closely with the Partner Experience department to understand the needs of the commercial team, use your technical skills to price the requested product and perform a business plan of the future cash flows. Moreover, you have to understand the risks related to the insurance product, participating actively in the product development and its implementation.

Our wishes:
• Relevant education within mathematics and / or engineering and / or actuarial science
• A couple of years of experience from qualified actuary work is preferred
• Experience working on business plans, pricing risks and expected cash-flows
• Excellent Excel skill-set
• Insurance pricing experience with Swedish or Nordic insurance line of products and local market expertise is a plus
• Python skills proficiency is a plus
• Experience managing large amount of data
• Fluent in English, additional language, especially Swedish is a plus

As senior actuary in IFRS17 and Solvency 2, you will, report directly to the Head actuarial closing for the Nordic region, and your responsibilities will be the following:

Ensure an adequate economic and prudential actuarial closing on a regular basis, respecting the current regulatory, legal and corporate frameworks
Prepare actuarial studies, complying with the company's risk / return policy
Guarantee the compliance with the internal actuarial guidelines of the group
Responsible for providing the required information for the regulator, auditors and other stakeholders
Responsible for Solvency II capital requirements calculation and IFRS 17 reporting

Very good knowledge of MS office and Python

Actuaries must quantify the cost of insurance risks. You have the opportunity to participate in developing and managing actuarial models risk calculations for pricing, reserving and reinsurance purposes, in a growing company.


You will therefore have influence and insight in every product development, possibly evolving to traditional actuarial tasks such as pricing and reserving. This gives the role a wide breadth and a key responsibility on both commercial and regulatory aspects.


As a pricing actuary, you will have to understand the needs of the commercial team, use your technical skills to price the requested product and perform a business plan of the future cash flows. Moreover, you have to understand the risks related to the insurance product and you participate in the implementation of the product.


Main tasks:
Working on pricing and product development of personal protection insurance.
Participating occasionally on technical basis creation, risk monitoring or cash flow projection projects
Be part of a department of 9 persons, with Swedish and international profiles, and interact with most parts of the company, including teams in France and other Scandinavian countries.

Education:
Actuarial degree education or other master degree in mathematics and / or statistics / or engineer



Experience and knowledge requirements:
Very good knowledge of Excel.
Be fluent in Swedish, both oral and written.

Experience and knowledge:
A possible first work experience in insurance with market knowledge from the Swedish and Nordic insurance industry. Have worked for a consulting company can be a plus
Knowledge of statistics and database tools such as Access, SAS, can be a plus
