As Technical Buyer you may work with one or several commodities within the field of technical components. Additionally, you will work with global buyers and you will be responsible to secure running projects and day to day business.

Common daily tasks and area of responsibilities:
• Act as main contact for commercial issues towards the supplier´s base for running production
• Lead price negotiations, during program phase as well as running production changes
• Support commercial negotiations with the objective to reduce cost and price for the area
• Negotiate commercial and time consequences at suppliers connected to design changes in projects incl. establish agreements
• Participate in cross functional teams within Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing
• Drive improvement activities within purchasing and with suppliers continuous
• Carry out market test analysis and benchmarking studies Competence
• Administration work involves transactions, updating price files, reporting of performance

Qualifications:
• Economical alt. Technical education at University or likewise
• A minimum of 2 years´ work experience in technical Purchasing
• Developed negotiation skills
• Fluency in business English is required, oral and written, second language preferred
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, ERP)
• Excellent communication- and peoples´ skills
• Able to plan and drive your own work and deliver result in time

• Manage key fiber suppliers to ensure pulp, eco-label and Life Cycle Assessment questionnaires are returned and completed on time, with information where necessary transferred into the Global Fiber Database (GFDB)
• Support our Sustainability and commercial teams with fiber information as requested
• Lead supplier-based projects to develop the GFDB into a web-based tool to be maintained and accessed by our key suppliers
• Work closely with the Sites and Commercial teams to ensure supplier information, as required by the stakeholders is maintained within the GFDB
• Provide fiber supply analysis to the business teams to facilitate Sustainability reporting against Corporate and GS objectives and targets as well as drive effective decision making
• Actively participate in the Global Fiber network teams located with Global Sourcing and Operational sourcing. Undertaking site certification and supplier audits as requested

Main responsibilities
• Work with the responsible global fiber buyers and manufacturing site buyers, run and maintain the multiple FSC & PEFC Cross credit reports on a monthly basis plus the global fiber purchase report, MR purchase and article purchase reports.
• To support the company´s "Way of Working" (EWoW) implementation team when developing the new IT reporting solutions to ensure the correct information is included from the existing reports to the new reports
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers to assure the quality and relevance of data held,
• To support FSC, PEFC and EU Eco-label audit teams to determine compliance against Fiber policies and fiber traceability
• Work closely with Global Fiber personnel on all fiber and fiber logistics issues
• Assist in preparation of BRM, SLT and other management meeting presentations

About you

The tasks will vary from administration tasks like issuing purchase orders, to agreement / price negotiations and more strategic category work, and also contribute to purchasing processes, how to work with KPIs, CSR etc.

It´s a consultant assignment that starts immediately and will initially go on to September with great chance to extension. The office is located at Lindholmen. 

Main tasks:

• Be responsible for a number of suppliers within certain purchasing categories.They believe it will be within the categories Consultants and Bought teams to start with. Some experience from this area is an advantage but not a must. However, since you will be a part of a small team the categories can change over time.
• Support the organization to send out RFQs, analyze quotes, negotiate prices and place purchase orders
• Be responsible to negotiate and handle / maintain / develop supplier agreements and relationships within your categories.
• Enhance strategies for your supplier base.
• Support initiatives to create value for the company.

About you:
We are looking for a person who has some years of relevant job experience and are used to work with both national and international suppliers. You like to work in a structured manner and are motivated by taking own initiatives. You enjoy a combination of dealing with simpler day-to-day tasks to more demanding challenges, such as negotiations with major suppliers. This role will involve a lot of teamwork, hence it´s important that you are a team player with good cooperation abilities. Your personality will be considered to be of main importance. Fluent English is a must.

• You have a thorough understanding and experience from working with ITIL and Devops as well as Agile from a process and contracts perspective.

About the position
You will be part of the Exterior Trim System team with global buyers and you will be responsible to secure running projects and day to day business. The group belongs to Exterior Purchasing and works with components such as Bumper system and Accessories.
