We are now looking for a:
System Engineer
The System Engineer will work in a team with a Project Manager, HW engineers, Mechanical Engineer etc. The System Engineer is responsible for overall system engineering of the product including relation between Software and Hardware. The system engineer is also main responsible for Functional Safety and Cyber security aspects of the product.
Key accountabilities:
Main responsible for interfacing between ALPS Alpine HQ and customer with regards to System related issues (overall customer system as well as the HW/SW system within the component boundary.
Handling of all engineering related Q&A and negotiation with customer
Requirement analysis of customer requirements
Lead of Functional Safety activities from AAEU-SW
Lead of Cyber Security activities from AAEU-SW
Main responsible for the HW/SW Interface specification (used by customer software development team). Communication, release, negotiation etc
Participation in Customer events and present Alps Alpine

Skills:
Graduate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
OEM vehicle manufacturer or supplier experience
>10years experience of development of electronics for Computing System products
Established relationship with manufacturers of key components such as SoC
Experience in various bus systems used in automotive (CAN, Ethernet, GMSL, A2B etc etc)
OEM vehicle manufacturer or Tier1 supplier experience
Expert skill in Functional Safety (ISO26262)
Expert skill in Cyber Security
Experience with automotive SW development and SW development processes (e.g. A-SPICE) etc.
Fast learner
Good communication skills
Handle stress well
Must be fluent in both spoken and written Japanese and English
PC literate including Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
Driving License (Type B)

We are now looking for a:
CI/CD Leader, Inhouse SW Development
The CI/CD Leader has two main objectives. One is to set the strategy for the CI/CD capabilities needed for inhouse SW development supporting SW development for production SW delivered to customers as well as SW development for prototyping. The other main objective is to execute on the strategy and to define and implement the CI/CD needed for each in house SW development project and at the same time ensure commonality among projects where applicable and possible.
CI/CD includes the flow of build, test, deploy and release management. The flow is supported by ticket management as well as configuration management and this also needs to be taken into consideration.
As a CI/CD Leader you are responsible to establish the strategy and to realize this in tools and services for each SW development project. Training and coaching is a natural part of the work.
Key accountabilities:
Leading the CI/CD strategy definition.
Leading the CI/CD tool definition for all SW development projects together with the SW Project manager for each project.
Tool recommendations for different projects and their needs.
CI/CD implementation for the SW projects
Develop and maintain the commonality of the CI/CD assets, used in SW development projects.
Main interface towards customers when it comes to integration of AlpsAlpine CI/CD with customer CI/CD
At sourcing, provide guidelines and recommendations for the upcoming SW development project when it comes to needed CI/CD capabilities.
Defining and implementing CI/CD metrics.
Train and coach the SW development projects to use the CI/CD pipeline.
Actively search for feedback from SW development projects to understand how the CI/CD pipeline may be improved
Maintain the CI/CD strategy to make sure it reflects the current and expected capabilities needed in the future.
Team leader of other CI/CD developers.

Skills:
· Comprehensive knowledge and experience in embedded CI/CD pipeline definition and implementation.
· >3 years of CI/CD experience for embedded development and automotive.
· Interested of learning new techniques and tools
· Experienced in Linux server systems including installation and scripting
· Experience from CI/CD aligned with Autosar Methodology
· Able to support local IT support when it comes to CI/CD features. (Local IT support is focused on office features and not SW development features)
· Strong team player.
· Experience of both cloud based tools as well as server based tools.
· Good communication skills
· Must be fully conversant in English
· PC literate including Microsoft Word, Excel etc.

Job duties
As the Quality Assurance Engineer it is your responsibility to actively drive quality work within the projects through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). This will be done in alignment with your team and experience from previous projects. You will also;

Give presentations/workshops internally based on the result form "Lesson Leart"
Support the site during customer visits, both locally and globally
Be responsible for manage and further developing the quality work within AAEU-SW
Drive improvement work in the quality area as well as carry out follow-ups and analyze the quality situation for the company's products

We are looking for
Being a communicative and structured person will highly be beneficial due to the fact that this position requires you to ensure that the work is carried out efficiently in terms of planning, routines, costs and utilization of aids intended for the work. Furthermore, flexibility and the skill to listen and take action in combination of a team-working attitude will definitely contribute to a good spirit and well-being within the team as well as the company.

Test Engineer – Interior Detection
The key function for automotive interior sensing solutions is to detect small children left behind in parked and locked cars under hot climate conditions. Such a system can alert the driver through vehicle light/sound alerts or smartphone app notifications that something is wrong, avoiding heat stroke injuries or in worth case, death. Such systems can not only detect human presence in the cabin but also the seat position of the human and secondarily also theft attempts, achieving a 3-in-1 system. Today’s solutions are mainly based on mm radar wave solutions but in the future there will be sensor fusion concepts, combining radar sensors with cabin cameras. This will enable an interior detection functional growth, for instance to support body position detection, human size classification, child seat detection etc.
To establish such systems, massive data collection from real vehicle environment is needed. Both as a basis for designing human body movement detection algorithms and also to validate the performance of these algorithms and the alignment against OEM requirements.
The test engineer is responsible for maintaining interior detection test methods and for executing the tests described. The test variety is multi-dimensional as a function of occupant age (new born, 1 year, 3 year, 6 year, 10 year, 5%-ile female, 50%-ile male etc.), seat position (up to 7 different seats), body position/orientation, body direction (forward facing vs. backward facing), child seat type/size, vehicle state (parked, in motion) and vehicle variant (5-seater, 6-seater etc.). Data collection tools are used to gather interior sensor data, combined with cabin video stream and metadata. Such tools are developed in-house and under continuous improvements. Therefore, the test engineer also needs to have programming competence (C and Python) to maintain and update such tools to support new test cases and future carline cabin sensor configurations.
The test engineer also needs to interact with our interior detection algorithm engineers to analyse test data and classify data to achieve good coverage for both true positive and false positive use cases (for instance “moving objects” classified as humans). The data analysis is made by in-house developed tools to achieve a semi-automated tool chain. Also here, programming skills (typically Python) is a must. In the final stage of the development, the test engineer mainly focus on collecting “a validation data set” from real car interior testing with humans to verify and document the system performance and to agree a “start of production sign-off” with customer.
Driver license is required since some tests are conducted with the vehicle on the road. The test engineer also needs to travel to the premises of the OEM to get access to test vehicles. Since test methods and test results often needs to be discussed and negotiated with our customer (OEM), a positive, pro-active win-win attitude will be an important factor for long term success.
