You will join an EE Architecture environment in the automotive industry, where electrical topology, logic architecture, function allocation, system safety and cybersecurity are all closely connected. The team needs extra strength within Signal Database engineering and is looking for you who can take ownership of the Signal Database across the full development lifecycle.

Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:
-Kravställning och specifikationer
Ta fram funktionella krav och tekniska underlag i olika projektskeden. Du deltar i upphandlingar, kontraktsskrivningar och ansvarar för uppföljning av leveranser.
-Tekniskt specialiststöd
Stötta projektledare och andra teknikområden med kvalificerad rådgivning inom teleteknik. I vissa projekt kan du även koordinera teknikstödet för hela systemområdet.
-Verifiering och validering
Bedöma och kvalitetssäkra att leverantörernas lösningar uppfyller ställda krav.
-Utveckling och standardisering

Are you a dedicated network engineer with interest in Telecom? To strengthen our growing consultant team in Gothenburg, we are now looking for a network engineer to help our client migrating test lab equipment from Germany to a new environment here in Gothenburg.


 

Responsibilities
-Participate in the migration of system test lab equipment from Germany to a new environment in Lindholmen


-Troubleshoot hardware and network connections.


-Install and configure equipment to meet project requirements.


-Work remotely with the system testing team in Germany to ensure their needs and instructions are met. This means being their “extended arm” during testing activities that require high-touch operations in the lab.


-Provide ongoing support during the relocation and implementation process


-Traveling may be required

Qualifications
-Experienced in similar technical roles, preferably involving telco hardware (servers, routers, switches) and IP network installations.


-Relevant technical education in electronics, IT, or a similar field.


-Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in German and Swedish is a strong advantage.


-Strong teamwork skills and experience working closely with hardware and within teams.

What you will do
At Software factory at Volvo Cars we are building a community with highly skilled personnel. We are harmonizing the workflows and developing tools to be used across R&D, with the aim to accelerate the software development at Volvo Cars. We are responsible for. Developing continuous integration (CI) architecture & infrastructure. Huawei Gothenburg research center is now seeking a BTS System Simulation and Channel Modeling Expert in 5G systems research. As a technical expert, you are expected to participate in and lead 5G systems research, a core business area for Huawei. About us - SW & Electronics Core System (ART SWECS)
In the execution of our development strategy, there is a need of a focus on balancing and securing the system characteristics for the Core System with all applications (i.e. “SW-on-HW Core System”). The distributed way of working will stress the need of centralized guidance and quality assurance.

This centralized guidance is driven by SW & Electronics Core System (ART SWECS) with the main tasks of:

Your will: own, build, prioritize, decide and refine team backlog supporting the roadmap of the Core System, lead our Team together with Team Manager and Scrum Master, work with Product Managers and other Product Owners to define and maintain the team backlog, maintain a dialog with all our Stakeholders both for team intake and as a team ambassador and validate backlog items making sure they meet the acceptance criteria and definition of done (DoD) for our teams.

What you’ll do
At Electrical Performance we focus on customer benefit throughout the service life of the car with respect to reliability, safety and availability related to the electrical system and its hardware. We provide requirements to design departments and give technical support to function, system and complete vehicle in order to reach the attribute target. We predict attribute status based on requirement fulfilment during the development phase and we verify, mainly on complete vehicle, before start-of-production. Project Scope
We are now looking for a leading expert ready to drive the evolution of mobile network and base station technology into the timeframe of 5.5G and 6G. It's pretty clear that higher capacity and new frequency bands increased power efficiency and more burdensome latency requirements mean new solutions and technologies must be developed.
Responsibilities
Develop a new BTS concept that will be the base for the family of next-generation base stations (macro and densified networks). You will be Responsible for the research of next-generation architecture and design of wireless Base Station and lead the BTS systemization work for all BTS-related functions from the antenna unit to the baseband. Further, it will also include considering aspects of product practice and Life Cycle Costs.The solution must be described and systemized on a conceptual level, documented in research reports and requirement specifications.
In this role, you will work with an experienced team of BTS system engineers based in Gothenburg. The work will be done closely with a Wireless research organization in Shanghai, China. The role will require travelling within Sweden and to a Wireless organization in Shanghai.
Qualifications requirements
• Experience working with systemization on the BTS system level, radio component design and antenna units; product practice will be better
• Extensive knowledge of 5G networks, use cases and BTS architectures
• Extensive knowledge in Massive MIMO technology, including antenna and spectrum
• Knowledge about new frequency bands (i.e. 6-10GHZ and 27-29GHz), use cases and physical limitations

Project Scope
Huawei Gothenburg research center is now seeking a BTS System Simulation and Channel Modeling Expert in 5G systems research. As a technical expert, you are expected to participate in and lead 5G systems research, a core business area for Huawei. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to make a better-connected world.
You will also analyze requirements, define and design systems and product architecture, and verify the proposed solutions by cooperating with different teams, including system design, product design and product management.
Responsibilities
• Research on 5G BTS System Simulation and Channel Modeling.
• Find innovative and cost-efficient solutions for current and future wireless networks.
• Evaluate the performance of new ideas/architectures by simulation.
Qualifications requirements
• PhD in Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent background with several years of experience.
• Strong background in digital communication theory, channel modeling, wireless communications, and signal processing.
• Deep knowledge of multi-antenna systems.
• Good understanding of antenna systems, channel models and wireless propagation.
• Good understanding of radio systems and radio system components.
• Substantial experience with wireless system performance evaluation and optimization. Proficient experience skills in MATLAB, Python and C++ programming.
• Good knowledge of 5G NR standards and technologies related to 5G systems.
• Knowledgeable about Layer 1 and 2 algorithms in NR or other wireless systems.
• Should be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with hardware experts, antenna experts, algorithm experts, channel modeling experts and system experts.
• Should be able to travel frequently between Huawei Sweden R&D office in Stockholm (Kista) and Gothenburg, short term travel in Europe and China.
• Should be able to work in a team and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
