Assignment description
You will help define the lighting solution for vehicles—across both interior and exterior—by conceiving, simulating, and prototyping advanced lighting concepts that merge brand identity, safety, and emotion.


You will work within the Technology & Innovation department, collaborating with Exterior/Interior Design, CMF, UX, and Engineering to deliver future-forward lighting implementation that meets regulatory and performance targets.


Qualifications and skills required for the role

Key responsibilities:
- Create and deliver lighting concepts for interior and exterior systems (ambient, functional, and communication lighting).
- Develop lighting solutions that match the vehicle's design character and technical constraints, suggesting light integrations into the vehicle's form (surfaces, gaps, joints, materials).
- Translate brand DNA into iconic lighting signatures and dynamic behaviours (e.g., welcome/farewell, charging indication, Interior Light themes, ADAS-linked signals).
- Use the lighting toolchain (visualisation, simulation, VR) to validate light effects, integration, and feasibility.
- Create and lead engaging presentations or prototypes that effectively convey intent to stakeholders and suppliers.


Good to have:
- Experience with advanced interactive lighting technologies (OLED panels, AR overlays, projection/DLP).
- Understanding of optics, light guides, materials, and human-factors considerations in vehicle interiors.
- Experience working in or with automotive design studios and Tier-1 suppliers.

Description of the Assignment
Structural Design and Layout is a newly formed team and the work is mainly focusing on early phases in the development cycle on the architectures for the company Group. The team is creating packaging layouts (geometrical set ups, CV specs) for various architectures and vehicles.


Developing layouts and packaging solutions for future architectures involves many stakeholders, such as crash safety, NVH, Dura and manufacturing. The person needs to have a lot of experience in how vehicles are set up and how to integrate components and systems for effective architectures. Since the team are dealing with all components in the vehicle, a good understanding of how the components/systems work is beneficial. It is a must to have good communication skills and enjoy working in teams.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

This role requires experience (15 years or more) within vehicle integration.


Candidate should be able to take on tasks with high autonomy and be very familiar with how to integrate systems/parts in the vehicle.


Candidate should be comfortable to lead other functions (such as body structure, powertrain, chassis) so all systems can be fitted in the vehicle in a good way.


The work will be carried out in Catia and VisMock up, so candidate needs to be highly skilled in creating and handling geometries in these systems.

We are looking for a Project Manager (Electronics/Software) for a company in Jonsered outside Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 10 months contract to begin with.


Assignment Description
Main responsibility is to manage and lead all E&S deliveries to the NPDs (New Project Development) within their product area of responsibility. This includes all three areas of E&S; Software, Electronics and Test of Electronics, Software and EMC. Prioritizing tasks and work, as well as making the technical decisions needed to fulfil and deliver on E&S responsibility . Coordination with R&D and PMO, for each corresponding project, on what should be done and when. Also takes general responsibility towards the E&S management team; propose changes of work methods and processes, as well as prioritization needed when it comes to competence and resources.
This role will help make E&S become a more delivery-oriented organization, who takes responsibility for their own tasks as well as supporting outside of the immediate area of responsibility.
Main tasks
Manage all E&S work in NPDs within the scope of this role
Prioritize and take responsibility for all E&S project work and deliveries
Coordination with R&D, PMO and Connectivity Center for all related projects
Following up on E&S resource and budget for NPDs
Report on E&S progress and deliveries within E&S Management team
Make necessary technical decisions based on a E&S helicopter view, rather than technical details. For instance cost, time, deliveries and “good enough”-status
Raise issues and priorities to E&S MGM when needed
Develop and maintain the E&S development and delivery process
