Axel Arigato is looking for a Frontend Developer who can utilize HTML, CSS and JavaScript to develop effective user interfaces on the company website. Work in harmony with other passionate backend- and frontend developers whose primary focus is building customer-facing applications for a global market. You will be critical in taking complex problems and creating simple, elegant solutions that elevate a world-class experience.

You will work with a UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

What will be your main responsibilities?

Building and strengthening relationships

• Work to accelerate partnerships, agencies and distributor relationships.
• Establish showroom locations and set-up; including coordination of freelancers, recruiting and general management.
• Lead the analysis of customer experience, sell-through data and feedback with clients, making appropriate recommendations.
• Partner with Production Department on commercial terms, discrepancies, reorders, returns and samples requests.
• Partner with Finance Department to negotiate payment terms and collections.

Developing and expanding the team

• Lead by embracing our brand values. This includes the performance and development of you and your direct reports (Wholesale Managers, Wholesale Coordinators), including successful recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, management and assessment of the team.
• Lead the day to day job and execution of the Wholesale Department work efforts, including but not limited to sales periods, showroom, new launches.
• Lead Wholesale Department team in their development.

Expanding the business

• Create and execute business plans and sales strategies for the development of the Axel Arigato brand on a global scale.
• Develop, execute and maintain overall wholesale, distribution, agency, franchisee and expansion strategy.
• Set KPIs, seasonal budgets and roadmap strategy to ensure consistent achievement.
• Working to accelerate shop in shops and franchises openings
• Establishing new offices around the globe to help distribution.

Our Wholesale ops team (three people in total) look after all our stockists across the world. You will have overall responsibility for the wholesale operations for our stockists, ensuring all weekly and monthly targets are met or exceeded. The WOM will provide regular reports to the management and prepare weekly, monthly and annual forecasts for the business.

You will inspire and develop the Wholesale ops team to deliver a customer-centric, pro-active approach for all Stockists, Agents and Account interactions. You’ll also build key relationships internally with the HQ, ensuring seamless distribution and prioritization of key accounts, and Merchandising to manage stock requirements.

JOB ASSIGNMENTS

• Oversee and monitor automatic dispatch including the setting of dispatch priority and configuring batch release to ensure correct stock is dispatched in a timely fashion and with no errors

RESPONSIBILITY

This position holds the responsibility between design and production and requires excellent organizational and project management skills as well as a strong passion for sneakers

The Footwear Product Developer is responsible for our products to overachieve our design requirements and to be sampled according to the seasonal schedule.

The Footwear Product Developer works hand in hand with the design team, technical team and production team and owns the product specs data and sampling activities.

The Footwear Product Developer needs to constantly negotiate with our production partners to achieve margin requirements, quality level and lead time for the collection. There should also be a healthy mix in terms of production per factory with a second alternative if a factory cannot deliver on our terms.

This requires daily contact with factories and regular visits.

JOB ASSIGNMENT

Product development

• Responsibility and ownership of the product creation process from design hand-over to final sample in partnership with Footwear Technicians, with an emphasis on quality product development and timely completion of all tasks in accordance with the seasonal calendar.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Designers, Technicians, Quality Control, Operations and suppliers in order to ensure product success.
• Owns the article creation process across all systems.
• Owns the material development and research process
• Recommends design enhancements, construction and material options geared at elevating our brands and hitting financial requirements.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

The focus for the SC Assistant is to support the execution of all related supply chain activities from development pass off to the delivery to our warehouse or external partners. It is under the SC Assistant’s responsibility that products are being ordered and delivered according to the set goals for the category of products assigned. Moreover, the SC Assistant will own the execution of the Drop of the Week (DotW) schedule to create a variety and solid sales plan and deliver drops on time for his/her product category.

The SC Assistant will be the main contact between development, wholesale, marketing, and finance, coordinating that each department will get the information which is necessary at any given time for his/her product category and will partner with the Supply Chain coordinator to help cover all assignments and fulfill on-time delivery.

The SC Assistant will have daily external contact with factories and suppliers and will own the final cost for the products and the information in our systems (stock, prices, delivery dates, …)

JOB ASSIGNMENTS (for the allocated product category)

Products:

• Ensure that all products have necessary production specifications and that all sources share the same information (Factories, Devt Team)
• Responsible for the product prices and planning with the factories in partnership with the product development team and Supply Chain coordinator.

Order Management:

RESPONSIBILITY

This position holds the responsibility between design, development, and production and requires excellent footwear technical skills as well as project management skills.

The Footwear Technician is responsible that our products meet the quality requirement and provide the best possible durability and comfort to our customers.

The Footwear Technician works hand in hand with the development team, quality and production teams and factories and own the product technical data.

The Footwear Technician needs to constantly review our products to keep a high-quality level on all our footwear. The Footwear Technician reviews fit & comfort, assembly, and construction and maintain up to date specs in partnership with the product developers.

JOB ASSIGNMENT

Technical Development

• Responsibility and ownership of the product technical development (fit, construction, comfort and performance).
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Designers, Developers, Quality Control, Operations and suppliers in order to ensure product success.
• Recommends design enhancements, construction and material options geared at elevating our brands and hitting financial requirements.
• Monitors and reviews all prototypes and market samples to insure faithful execution to spec as well as meets quality, execution, and construction standards. Provides feedback and information to factories to make necessary changes clear and organized. Create and update specs in partnership with developers.
• Ensure Product Specs have the correct level of technical information
• Ensure Product Technical information is shared across internal systems
• Validate commercial samples for industrialization
• Owns the sign off process to production (sealing samples)

Quality

• Perform risk assessment per styles and inform Developers of changes needed at the development stage
• Validate materials for production
• Current working knowledge of materials market and manufacturing landscape. Attends trade shows and interacts with material suppliers.
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
• Monitor customer feedback together with customer service and drive actions to improve the customer product experience
• Review quality claims and suggests improvement plans to management
• Drive changes in production in line with approved quality improvements projects

Product integrity

• Aims to instill quality in the product from material selection thru final production.

• Reviews all components with an eye for quality and durability.
• Ensures that all components and constructions used are compliant for performance and restricted substances prior to production.
• Tests questionable materials and treatments in the development cycle to prevent a lapse in product flow in production.

• Drive footwear sustainability projects implementation for technical activities

The Footwear Product Developer is responsible for our products to overachieve our design requirements and to be sampled according to the seasonal schedule.

The Footwear Product Developer works hand in hand with the design team, technical team and production team and owns the product specs data and sampling activities.

The Footwear Product Developer needs to constantly negotiate with our production partners to achieve margin requirements, quality level and lead time for the collection. There should also be a healthy mix in terms of production per factory with a second alternative if a factory cannot deliver on our terms.

This requires daily contact with factories and regular visits.

JOB ASSIGNMENT

Product development

• Current working knowledge of materials market and manufacturing landscape. Attends trade shows and interacts with material suppliers.
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products

We are offering an exciting full-time position as an accountant at our head office in Gothenburg. This is a position for someone who wants the job to be a combination of fun, speed, change and social while working at a fast-growing company. Who you are:

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and realizes the importance of continuous improvements in both big and small. You have worked in accounting in Sweden for at least a few years and are very familiar with AP and AR, account distribution and closing procedures. Experience from working with Navision is a big plus.

In this process, the individual’s motivation and adaptive mindset will trump experience. You are intrigued by the fashion industry and it is likely that you have studied finance or accounting at University or YH.

You are fluent in Swedish but international experience from studies, work or volunteering is a bonus.

What you'll do:

• Accounts Receivable
• Support in the monthly closing and reconciliations
• Planning of cash flow
• VAT-reports
• Other finance-related tasks
• Keep improving the finance function by taking the lead on internal projects.

Supervisor – Gothenburg & NK Pop-up

Key Accountabilities:

• Leading the team to reach store and individual goals, encouraging fun and competitive behaviour.
• Follow strictly the company’s Retail Manuals.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure the team are up to date with relevant protocols.
• Build and maintain an impeccable stock room that reflects that of the shop floor.
• Aware of the business objectives which are set quarterly through OKR’s whilst striving to meet them in store.
• To maintain CRM logs in order to build your networks within the city. This log should be used for events, gifting and special projects. Engaging with clients over a period of time working towards customer retention.
• To understand and pay attention to what is going on outside of your business (competitors) in order to consider/use for your strategic planning.
• To know your city and the social movements within it.

Team Management:

• Able to host a team of professionals in store, that can have fun whilst uphold the Axel Arigato culture.
• Thrive on being a leader and encourage feedback from the team on new ideas, procedures, and approaches. Be the best that you can be for others to follow.
• Provide engaging training sessions to new hires as well as testing the existing team from time to time. Product knowledge is everything. Constantly referring to our retail manuals.
• Ensure the company’s expectations of image standards are being adhered to. This includes uniform maintenance, general hygiene and condition of sneakers.
• To maintain an ongoing network pool of exceptional future candidates.
• To participate in customer store events if deemed necessary.

Administrative Management:

• Maintain store planners with a minimum of two months scheduling for all employees to view.
• Maintain the accuracy of the CRM log, encourage the team to reach out to their client's building customer retention.

Stock, Inventory & Loss Prevention Management:

• Ensure store shrinkage by analysing dead stock on a two-week cycle in order to maintain shelf space for future drops of the week.
• Prepare, implement, and execute monthly ‘zoned’ inventories in order to minimize discrepancies. To report back with suggestions of improvements on each stock take to the store manager.
• Ensure that the weekly store negative on-hand report is investigated, and results shared with the operations team.

Qualifications

• Great understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft software
• Prior experience in retail is an advantage, especially with high-end retail brands.
• Passion for retail and excellent customer service skills.
• Passionate about Axel Arigato products and brand. Passionate about fashion.
• Self-motivated and has the ability to work productively and take initiative.
• Great communication skills with a social and outgoing personality.
• Have a humble approach and contribute to a good team spirit.
• Be open to new things and receptive to constant development.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
