As an Application Engineer at Manta Marine, you will work closely with our vessel optimisation systems, continually adapting and configuring solutions for a wide range of different vessels and onboard components. Your work ensures that each individual installation aligns with the specific technical setup of the vessel.
You will be responsible for adjusting configurations using both visual tools and software logic, supporting our commissioning engineers, and verifying functionality through in-office testing. The majority of the configuration work is being transitioned to a visual interface, with only limited coding involved.
The role suits someone who enjoys working in a structured and detail-oriented way, and who takes satisfaction in refining solutions that have a direct impact on performance and sustainability.
You will join a small and focused team of two other Application Engineers, working closely with colleagues across the company to ensure smooth delivery, testing and commissioning of our optimisation systems.

About the role
As Application Engineer will work with our fuel optimization systems (FuelOpt) and report directly to the Project Execution Manager in Gothenburg. You will be part of a project execution team working closely with customers and project members on vessel-specific implementations, from order to delivery. Job Summary:
The Head of Accounting will lead the company Finance Team in Gothenburg, overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial support to the CFO and the broader organisation. Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards, including group reporting and consolidation of units from different countries
Full proficiency in English (Manta Marine’s work language) and a Scandinavian language is required
Experience in the green technology and/or maritime industry is highly desirable.
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Strong team management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Office / Excel skills.

Main responsibilities
As a Commissioning Engineer you will be on-site representative during start-up, commissioning, and service. The Commissioning Engineer ensures that the systems operate as designed and constructed and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and system performance. Your main responsibilities will be:
Work on vessels and with clients to define projects
Installation, commissioning and service of systems onboard vessels
Adapting of systems and instructions to specific vessels
Crew training to provide key information about the systems
Providing recommendations to improve system efficiency and performance
Preparations of reports for completed projects and their delivery to the client
Assistance with service and support issues, support administration and support issue logging

The position requires extensive travels to ships, yards and customers. When not travelling, your primary work location will be our office in Gothenburg.

Main responsibilities:
As Automation Engineer, you will do PLC and HMI programming for new projects within MMT’s product range, as well as update, troubleshoot and improve existing programs. Part of the work is also to support during FAT’s at the test center, support commissioning and service engineers and to create necessary documentation for the projects. The work is based in the office, but occasional trips could occur to start/update systems and for troubleshooting. Main areas in this role will be:
???????Develop software for PLC and HMI.
Simulate and test software before FAT.
Create documentation related to software development and testing
Support commissioning engineers during startups etc.
Support and provide input for improvements and development of the company´s products and processes.
Support our service department with technical inputs for received claims, and problems. Which includes direct customer and supplier contacts to resolve the received problems.
Working closely with other departments such as mechanical, process and electrical to develop and test the solutions together.



Background and skills
We are looking for you with experience in Codesys based software for PLC programming.
Minimum 3 years’ experience of PLC/HMI programming.
Fluent English both written and spoken.
Experience from process automation is a merit.
Good communication skills since customer and supplier contact is part of the work.
