Main responsibilities
Business Transformation at Manta Marine technologies is dedicated to supporting both core business operations and support functions through internal digitalization, automation, and process improvement initiatives. About the role
As Application Engineer will work with our fuel optimization systems (FuelOpt) and report directly to the Project Execution Manager in Gothenburg. You will be part of a project execution team working closely with customers and project members on vessel-specific implementations, from order to delivery. This includes anything from creating blueprints for the systems, testing, supporting commissioning to developing relevant documentation and manuals.
In the projects you will experience varying customer requirements, and no vessel will look the same, meaning you will have to be creative and find ways to implement our technology.

Minimum 3 years’ experience of PLC/HMI programming.
Fluent English both written and spoken.
Experience from process automation is a merit.
Good communication skills since customer and supplier contact is part of the work.
