We have a great opportunity for a Business Process Owner - Inventory Planning position in Houston, (this role can be filled in any of our Global Offices – Houston, Jundai, Gothenburg, Amsterdam, or Shanghai).
Main responsibilities
The Global Process Owner is responsible for oversight and governance of the end-to-end Inventory Planning process within the Forecast to Produce (F2P) process. The F2P Inventory Planning process includes:
Global inventory forecasting
Aging stock management
Slow moving inventory management
Excess inventory management
Safety Stock definition and analysis
Blocked Stock management
Manage existing and develop new process documentation
Quality control inventory management
SME for inventory planning module in APS
SME for inventory management in SAP
Manage existing and develop new training documentation



In addition, the position will support the rest of the F2P team on different Supply Chain projects involving Demand and Supply. The position will work globally across functions as well as, across geographic and business boundaries and will play a key role in end-to-end process strategy, global process design, performance monitoring, technology road map and long-range plan.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Aligned with the corporate strategy and objectives the Global Process Owner – F2P - Inventory will develop and refine the vision and strategy for the F2P - Inventory E2E process area and enable the enterprise to serve customers in a highly productive, reliable, compliant and competitive fashion.
Process – document both within F2P - Inventory and across other E2E processes.
People – oversee roles and accountabilities in the F2P - Inventory process regardless of their functional reporting, ensure highly accessible and effective F2P - Inventory training and development resources and processes.
Systems – determine where technology can be appropriately deployed and define the functionality to support the F2P - Inventory process.
Data – ensure definition and quality of master data used in the process.


Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
Extensive experience in Supply Chain (preferably planning and/or scheduling)
Experienced in managing Supply Chain organization including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.



Preferred:
MBA, and/or Bachelor of Business Administration.
experience in Chemicals or Oil and Gas.
APICS/ASCM Certified as CPIM or CSCP.

Main responsibilities
As the Tolling Engineer, you will support Nouryon’ s growth through setting up and assess new tollers, coordinate technical support and see to the completion of major process improvement projects of our tolling operations. Main responsibilities
The EMEA regional raw material planner is responsible for management and maintenance of the supply plan to determine the most efficient source of raw material supply. You will balance customer demand, production and logistics capacities to ensure purchase orders are fulfilled as planned in the Supply Management Review process. You will have responsibility for all eleven Nouryon sites across the EMEA region.
You will also determine the stock replenishment strategy and manage the inventory targets for the region by ensuring effective translation of demand inputs (forecast and sales orders) into an achievable plan.
The role will focus on increasing the efficiency of the supply chain through targeted replenishment parameters and associated KPIs ensuring product is available to meet the sales plan, while minimizing operational costs.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you need a solid understanding of supply chain & business processes and a strong capability to analyze data including cross-reference data validation, trending and forecasting. Communication is also a vital part of the role; working across so many sites, functions and organisations.
You have the ability to prioritize and proactively complete projects with little direction with a strong process driven attitude and are results-oriented
We also see that you have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
Excellent analytical skills, covering forecasting, data validation & trend analysis
Highly proficient in MS Office packages including Excel & SharePoint
Excellent communication skills in English; able to communicate with all functional levels within the business
Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse & Arkieva (or equivalent advanced planning software) is strongly preferred
