Vi söker en utredare till vår enhet Radioaktivt avfall på avdelningen Normering och Kunskapsutveckling. Hos oss får du vara med och utveckla verksamheten samt bidra till ett strålsäkert samhälle.

På enheten arbetar vi med kunskapsutveckling och utredningar inom radioaktivt avfall, friklassning, avveckling och geologiska slutförvar. Vi stöttar även myndighetens tillståndsprövning och tillsyn med specialistkompetens. Avdelningen, i sin tur, ansvarar för att utveckla kunskap och ta fram underlag för lagstiftning, policyer och strategier inom kärnteknik och strålskydd – nationellt, inom EU och internationellt. Vi driver regelutveckling och säkerställer att myndighetens föreskrifter och vägledningar är aktuella och ändamålsenliga.

Som utredare driver du tekniska frågeställningar kopplade till omhändertagande av radioaktivt avfall, med särskilt fokus på icke-kärntekniskt avfall. Du ansvarar för att driva kunskapsutveckling genom utredningar och analyser samt bidrar till utveckling av krav och arbetssätt inom området.

Du hanterar ärenden kring herrelösa strålkällor, inklusive inkommande frågor, bidragsansökningar och rapporter, och leder internt utvecklingsarbete kopplat till hantering av herrelösa strålkällor och icke kärntekniskt avfall. Rollen omfattar även samordnande uppgifter inom enheten i tekniska frågor.

Arbetet innebär både interna och externa kontakter, exempelvis med avfallshanterare, andra myndigheter och allmänhet. Du följer och bidrar till utvecklingen nationellt och internationellt samt initierar och följer upp forsknings- och myndighetsstödjande projekt.

Vi söker dig som har


• examen från universitet/högskola inom t ex fysik, kemi eller liknande alternativt har motsvarande, aktuell och relevant arbetslivserfarenhet inom arbetsuppgifternas område
• erfarenhet att skriva rapporter, exempelvis utrednings-, analys- eller granskningsrapporter
• mycket god förmåga att kommunicera i tal och skrift på svenska
• god förmåga att kommunicera i tal och skrift på engelska.

Det är meriterande om du har 


• relevant och aktuell arbetslivserfarenhet med uppgifter inom radioaktivt avfall och dess omhändertagande
• erfarenhet av och kännedom om hur radioaktivt avfall uppkommer olika typer av verksamheter.

Anställningsvillkor
Anställningen är en tillsvidareanställning med start enligt överenskommelse. Anställningen kan komma att inledas med provanställning i sex månader. Placeringsort är Göteborg, Katrineholm eller Solna. Resor i tjänsten förekommer.

We are searching for a Lab Engineer Tissue for a global company in Mölndal outside Gothenburg. Start is January 12th, 6 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Mölndal.

About The Role
The Professional Hygiene laboratory is home of the Tork product range, with a focus on dispensers. As a laboratory engineer you will represent laboratories in many perspectives, be responsible for product testing, be part of innovation projects as well as supporting the business units. This involves testing on tissue products as material and system including dispenser’s mechanics and the full product system.

You will plan, propose and perform evaluation and laboratory testing on products in the Tork Portfolio. You will be part of a team of many laboratory engineers with different experiences and backgrounds where you will contribute with your knowledge and expertise in the area. You will also be part of project teams with product developers, innovation teams together developing product innovations and improvements for the market.

What you will do
• Plan, propose and perform evaluation and laboratory testing on products
• Present, document and report test results
• Perform analyses and statistical evaluations as base for your conclusions
• Maintain knowledge about test methods
• If needed Develop, evaluate, and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and business needs
• Develop and maintain equipment and tools for testing


Who you are
• Technical degree BSc in for ex Textile, Mechanical, chemical engineering
• Experience from laboratory work or product testing in a global setting is an advantage
• Preferably experience from working with statistical analysis and analytical programs
• Good communication and presentation skills in written reports as well as in discussions
• Written and verbal fluency in English

Din roll
Som Process-/Projektingenjör hos Dürr Systems AB får du en viktig och varierande roll där du kombinerar teknik, problemlösning och samarbete. * Ta fram processcheman och tekniska inköpsspecifikationer
* Inhämta offerter och skapa inköpsrekvisitioner i SAP
* Utföra riskanalyser för processäkerhet samt genomföra SIL-beräkningar

Din roll
I rollen som Teknisk Projektledare hos oss blir du navet i våra projekt, från första kundkontakt till färdig leverans. Här får du en vardag som växlar mellan kontoret i Göteborg, möten, med kunder och ibland besök på anläggningar både i Sverige och utomlands vilket innebär ca 20-30 resdagar per år.

Dina huvudsakliga ansvarsområden
* Leda och driva projekt från planering till färdigställande, med ansvar för budget, tid och kvalitet
* Samordna interna resurser och externa leverantörer för att säkerställa effektiva leveranser

Vem vi söker
Vi söker dig som har gedigen erfarenhet av teknisk projektledning och trivs i en roll där du får kombinera teknik, ledarskap och kundkontakt. Du har förmåga att driva flera projekt parallellt, arbetar strukturerat och är van att fatta beslut, samtidigt som du är lyhörd och skapar goda samarbeten både internt och externt.

För att lyckas i rollen ser vi att du har
* Högskoleutbildning inom kemi, maskinteknik, energi eller annan relevant teknisk inriktning
* Mångårig erfarenhet från process-, kemi- eller liknande industri, varav minst 5 år inom teknisk projektledning

In the role of Project Engineer, you will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring the successful delivery of all project components. Ensure quality, consistency, and timely execution of engineering activities by internal teams, licensors, and contractors. As Project Engineer you apply all relevant norms, local rules, company standards, and international best practices for accident prevention, human protection, environmental impact reduction, and energy efficiency.

Vi behöver komplettera vår enhet med en senior och erfaren expert med fokus på tillståndsprövning av kärnteknisk verksamhet. 

Du ingår i avdelningen för Beredskap och tillståndsprövning. Avdelningen ansvarar bland annat för tillståndsärenden, myndighetens arbete med civilt försvar, kris- och krigsorganisation, säkerhetsskyddet för kärntekniska anläggningar samt transporter av radioaktivt avfall och kärnämnen.

På enheten Tillståndsprövning kärntekniska anläggningar ansvarar vi för tillståndsprövning och dispenser för kärnteknisk verksamhet, radioaktivt avfall, använt kärnbränsle m m. Enheten ansvarar för granskning av återkommande helhetsbedömning och granskning av FUD-program (Forskning Utveckling Demonstration). I enhetens ansvarsområden ingår även friklassning av byggnadsstrukturer, områden samt material som inte kan friklassas enligt föreskrifter samt frågor om ansvar och ersättning vid radiologiska olyckor för samtliga typer av anläggningar och transporter. Framåt väntar oss en variation av intressanta och viktiga arbetsuppgifter.

Som erfaren expert driver du självständigt dina ärenden framåt. Du bidrar med din kompetens och kunskap för att lösa olika typer av ärenden. De granskningar som du kommer jobba med är ofta av större, tvärvetenskaplig karaktär och genomförs av en grupp med olika ingående kompetenser där du även förväntas kunna leda och styra andra i arbetet samt följa upp resultat och framdrift. Som en naturlig del ingår kollegialt samarbete och samverkan med andra utredare med liknande arbetsuppgifter. 

Beroende på din kompetens och bakgrund kommer du få hantera frågor och bidra till:


• granskning av säkerhetsredovisningar, t ex för slutförvaret för använt kärnbränsle eller uppförandet av andra nya anläggningar
• prövning av kärnteknisk verksamhet avseende radioaktivt avfall för mellanlager och slutförvar
• beslut om friklassning, tillstånd enligt strålskyddslagen och dispenser inom området
• bidra till myndighetens utveckling av föreskrifter och rutiner.

Vi söker dig som har


• en högskoleutbildning om minst 180hp inom ett naturvetenskapligt/tekniskt område som myndigheten bedömer relevant för rollen
• flerårig aktuell arbetslivserfarenhet inom område som myndigheten bedömer relevant för rollen, t ex radioaktivt avfall, strålsäkerhetsfrågor, analys av radioaktivitet, friklassning, kravuppfyllnad, säkerhetsredovisningar etc
• mycket god förmåga att uttrycka dig på svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.

Det är meriterande om du har 


• forskarutbildning inom naturvetenskapligt/tekniskt område som myndigheten bedömer relevant för rollen

What you will do
The Painted Body department within Vehicle Platform is responsible for the development of body structures and surface treatment systems for all Volvo cars. In this role as analysis engineer, you will belong to the group Surface Products and work within the Adhesives & Sealants area. Your main task will be the material responsibility for different surface treatment bulk material such as sealants and sprayable NVH materials. This includes the development and introduction of improved materials in our plants. You will also be responsible for the analysis and verification.

Working within surface treatment area means that you will establish and develop relationships with a variety of system areas and customers globally. To contribute to the Surface Treatment Supplier Quality Global Network, working on new standard inputs, continuously improving the assessment tool and permanently monitoring the next technology and their opportunities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The must-haves:

Preferred Academic Degree about Surface Treatment Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering or Electrochemical Engineering, or Polymer Engineering  organic and/or inorganic coating area or:
An extensive experience and strong performance in the Surface Treatment field can substitute for academic degree.
Has the ability to travel for work.
Are fluent in English both spoken and written because the language is spoken internally/externally.


The nice-to-haves:

Experience upon the Surface Treatment (coating) application processes/troubleshooting and its management within automotive business is a plus
Good knowledge and practice of automotive quality standards and tools, such as IATF 16949, APQP-PPAP, process audit, special process audits Eg. CQI 11/12 and problem solving.

What you will do
In this role you will be part of our Engineering team, working as a Chemical Engineer specializing in the Electrode & Process Utilities area. You will collaborate with suppliers and be part of a cross-functional NOVO team to deliver the detailed design of cutting-edge equipment and bring it up to speed. This position will allow you to gain a deep understanding of a cutting-edge battery cell manufacturing equipment design and experience the hands-on elements of commissioning and ramp-up.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Conduct thorough design reviews of P&IDs;, Process Flow Diagrams, HAZOPs and FMEAs to ensure the safety and efficiency of the manufacturing processes.
- Develop basis for selecting appropriate equipment and technologies required for the process, collaborating with vendors, verifying equipment sizing and selection.
- Collaborate with the cell design team to integrate and industrialize electrode and utilities processes effectively into the battery cell manufacturing system.
- Ensure the equipment design and selection is following relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
- Ensure the efficient and sustainable use of energy resources within the manufacturing environment

As we get closer to the commissioning and ramp-up of the factory you will also work with:

- Ensuring that operational activities comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Machine Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of machinery and equipment during the commissioning and ramp-up phases.
- Operation of Machinery: Oversee the operation of machinery and manufacturing processes during the commissioning and ramp-up phases, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis techniques to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements during the commissioning and ramp-up phases.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, or quality assurance, to address concerns, and coordinate troubleshooting activities.

Om tjänsten: Din roll som Laboratorieingenjör är på dagtid, men ditt arbete påverkar alltid verksamheten, som är igång dygnet runt. Du kommer främst att arbeta på våra lab för våtkemi och GC/LC, där vi utför miljöanalyser, kvalitetskontroll och produktionsuppföljning av gas och vätskeprover. Analysmetoderna vi använder är baserade på standardmetoder och en viktig del av ansvaret för den aktuella tjänsten är att anpassa analysmetoder för verksamheten och våra in-house instrument. På laboratoriet arbetar idag 23 personer, varav 8 Laboratorieingenjörer på dagtid. Laboratoriet är ackrediterat enligt 17025 för ett antal analyser. 

Du har en viktig roll i att säkerställa att våra instrument och instruktioner levererar dygnet runt.
Du har ett nära samarbetar med övriga Laboratorieingenjörer och Laboratorietekniker för att säkerställa en kontinuerlig drift av laboratoriet.
Du arbetar tvärfunktionellt med Produktion, Teknik och andra avdelningar och sektioner inom Preem för att produktionen ska fortgå och att vi på laboratoriet ska vara redo för framtidens utmaningar och de förändringar som Preems omställning kräver av laboratoriet.

We develop both fuel cell stacks and systems for various applications. The continuous improvement of efficiency, performance and durability is very important. Here the fuel cell catalysts play an important role. For an efficient support to our engineering process PowerCell is developing fundamental catalyst characterization tools. An appropriate method is here the rotating disk electrode (RDE), which is a well-known and effective technique to analyse and compare the activity and durability of electrocatalysts in lab scale without the influence of other components in a fuel cell.

We are therefore looking for an Internship or Master Thesis Student to support us in the development process of our fuel cell catalyst evaluation capabilities at our development laboratory in Gothenburg.



Topic: Peroxide formation for PEM fuel cell catalysts

Background: The peroxide formation during PEM fuel cell operation causes a chemical stress for the polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) and is a challenge for the durability and lifetime of the PEM fuel cell membrane electrode assembly (MEA). The main source for the peroxide formation is the cathode catalyst layer and the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) pathways.

Work description: The experimental part of the work includes development of an electrochemical test procedure using a rotating ring-disk electrode (RRDE), and measurements of peroxide for different PEM fuel cell cathode catalysts. Paper research around peroxide formation for PEM fuel cell cathode catalysts will provide a baseline for discussion around the experimentally obtained results.

Required qualifications:

- Participation in a M.Sc. program in chemical engineering, materials science, or similar

- Knowledge in electrochemistry

- Self-driven, highly engaged, and motivated personality, with a strong problem-solving approach

- In your work you have a high safety awareness and appreciate accuracy and precision

- Fluent in English, both oral and written

Additional desirable qualifications:

- Practical experience of laboratory work

- Monitor and analyze global fuels & oils regulation and standards development. - We expect you to pay interest in, and stay updated in, long term development of sustainable/ low GHG fuels and competitor activities.

- You will be keeping our fuels- and oils strategy updated and recommend investigations to ensure product endurance and performance in planned fuels- & oils updates

PowerCell develops both fuel cell stacks and systems for various applications, where the continuous improvement of efficiency, performance and durability is crucial. The Membrane-Electrode-Assembly (MEA) is the core of a Proton-Exchange-Membrane (PEM) fuel cell and typically consists of a Catalyst-Coated-Membrane (CCM), a gas diffusion layer (GDL) and a sealing material. Many properties of the fuel cell are determined by the components and interfaces present in the MEA and thus the choice of materials and process routes for MEA Assembly is of utmost importance to drive the development towards highly efficient, durable and cost-competitive fuel cell technology. To gain further insight into the components and assembly parameters influencing the final MEA, we are looking for an Internship (paid) or Master Thesis Student to support us in the development process. The following tasks for this project will be performed in the development laboratory in Gothenburg:

- Assemble MEA’s from semi-finished components
- Characterize semi-finished components and assembled MEA’s
- Develop understanding regarding the component combination and assembly parameters affecting the final MEA

Kemienheten har som huvuduppgift att övervaka och optimera kemiprocessen i kärnkraftverkens system. Detta görs genom analys, utvärdering och trenduppföljning av kemin i processvatten och luft från primär- och sekundärsystemen.

I rollen som enhetschef ingår:

• Budgetansvar för enheten

Battery Recycling is a function within Volvo Energy, Battery Industrialization and Logistics that is setting the scene for recycling of all batteries of the Volvo Group. We have circularity in our DNA. We orchestrate the work between functions, maintain relevant internal services and appropriate external partnerships to fulfill our mission. We communicate broadly to secure proper knowledge, involvement and recognition of our colleagues and counterparts. We monitor and optimize operational, environmental and financial performances of our recycling systems.


What are we looking for in this specific role?


We are now looking for a Battery Recycling Specialist, this is a new position in Volvo Energy with the intention to contribute to the battery recycling journey for the Volvo Group.
The Battery Recycling Specialist will lead company strategic investigations when it deals with battery recycling. This is all about building recycling strategies, roadmaps and cost/revenue pictures. The task is also about identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnerships so as identifying roadblocks and bringing solutions.

This is a truly cross-functional role across the Volvo Group, involving all truck brands, BAs and the GTx community. The challenge is to support the Volvo Group in reaching sustainable close loop recycling set up as well as securing profitability.

Main responsibilities:
Develop expertise in all recycling matters worldwide by mastering literature, news, information flows.
Monitor battery regulations and directives and examine impact on recycling for the Volvo Group.
Represent the Volvo Group in external battery recycling initiatives.
Represent Volvo Energy in all make or buy activities in relation with battery recycling.
Build closed loop battery recycling strategy and secure implementation.
Design partnerships (plan, scope, partners) and anchor internally.
Build and keep up to date the battery recycling cost and revenue model.

What are the qualifications likely required to be successful?

Good knowledge of industrial, circular value-chains for battery packs and related components.

The location for the position is flexible and will be preferably in Gothenburg, Sweden or Lyon, France.

Gruppen Säkerhetsanalyser ansvarar för att säkerhetsanalyserna uppfyller gällande kravbild enligt Ringhals sammanställning av krav, är aktuella, avspeglar anläggningen och utvecklas så att de omfattar aktuellt kunskapsläge, i den mån detta har betydelse för säkerheten. Genom sin specialistkompetens, kopplat till Ringhals säkerhetsanalyser, så stöttar eller bidrar gruppen med strategisk helhetssyn i samband med olika händelser eller förändringar i verksamheten.
Som Ingenjör kommer du att arbeta med kvalificerade och utvecklande arbetsuppgifter med stor bredd. Detta gör du tillsammans med ett gott gäng som gillar utmaningar kopplat till att förvalta och utveckla Ringhals och anläggningarnas säkerhetsanalyser.


Dina arbetsuppgifter
• Arbete med säkerhetsredovisning och dess säkerhetsanalyser för blocken, tex kopplat till risker, radiologi, haveriberedskap och svåra haverier.
• Analysera inträffade händelser och värdering av potentiella säkerhetsfrågor för att säkerställa blockens konstruktionsgrund.

What Do We Offer?
Propulsion & Climate Labs is Volvo Cars’ Centre for testing of propulsion systems, in complete vehicles as well as in component form. We operate and develop propulsion test facilities for vehicles, drivelines, electric motors, batteries and transmissions, as well as aerodynamic and climatic testing. Our work includes hardware- and software preparation of testing, test execution and processing of measurement data.

The battery lab is now expanding to support the industrialization of the future electrified powertrains from Volvo Cars. We work tight together to develop the testing of battery cells to complete batteries. What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for the daily operation of the testbed including ensuring that all test equipment used is maintained and calibrated. You will program the automatic test system and code tests cycles.

You will receive requirements from our customers on what to test and during which circumstances. You code the test procedure and then independently, on regular basis, evaluate the test result in order to verify that the test is generating the result asked for, if not you need to adjust your code. 

You will also prepare test objects as well as plan, execute and analyze tests together with internal customers. You will need to constantly learn new test methods and test systems and as we are in an expansion phase. 

Skills & Experience are Important
You have education in Chemical/ Electronic/Electrical engineering and at least a couple of years of experience coding in Python, C++ or similar. In addition, you will need experience working with test simulation or in a lab. You have gained the knowledge of how to verify that test results are in line with expectations. 

If you also possess Li-ion knowledge, it is star potential!

The role

In this role, you will be responsible for quality assurance and to coordinate the assessment of regulatory requirements for existing and new chemical products in Wintzell & Fried´s portfolio. Your main tasks will be to ensure compliance in accordance with the European Chemicals Regulations REACH and CLP.

You will also be responsible to actively participate in the company’s continued development. An important part of your work will be to enable efficient delivery of documentation and information and to support market expansion. Your background

We believe that you have an advanced degree in Chemistry and minimum 3 years of experience in compliance and regulatory affairs. You have broad understanding of chemistry and EU REACH legislation and registration process. You have a great communication and relationship building skills, enabling you to manage stakeholders at all levels within the business. You have experience in project management, where you have been accountable for delivering results within defined timeframes.

You can make judgements and provide advice and improvements which balances the business interest and regulatory risk and have a good sense for business and understanding for import and export.

What You’ll Do
As Cell Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible to create analytic models for performance and life estimation of cells based on theoretical assumptions and experiences. You will also develop and calibrate empirical battery models such as equivalent circuit models, including developing and optimizing test methods for model development. Developing and maintaining empirical aging models based on lab test data will also be among your tasks.

Results are used to design HW and SW components of the battery in the increasing number of electric and hybrid vehicle projects. You will have close cooperation with colleagues within the traction battery ART, other engineers within VCC as well as suppliers of cells and modules. 

Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Comsol and similar tools will be used.

You and Your Skills
We believe you have a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering, applied physics, mathematics or similar to qualify. You will also need a genuine curiosity for the subject matter as well as a huge interest in modeling and programming. Further, you have excellent analytical and communication skills. 

The ideal candidate for the position has a strong background in analytical work preferably by modeling component or system behaviors with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Comsol or similar tools.

What Do We Offer?
Propulsion & Climate Labs is Volvo Cars’ Centre for testing of propulsion systems, in complete vehicles as well as in component form. We operate and develop propulsion test facilities for vehicles, drivelines, electric motors, batteries and transmissions, as well as aerodynamic and climatic testing. Our work includes hardware- and software preparation of testing, test execution and processing of measurement data.

What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for the daily operation of the testbed including ensuring that all test equipment used is maintained and calibrated. You will program the automatic test system and code tests cycles.

You will receive requirements from our customers on what to test and during which circumstances. You code the test procedure and then independently, on regular basis, evaluate the test result in order to verify that the test is generating the result asked for, if not you need to adjust your code. 

You will also prepare test objects as well as plan, execute and analyze tests together with internal customers. You will need to constantly learn new test methods and test systems and as we are in an expansion phase. 

Skills & Experience are Important
You have education in Chemical/ Electronic/Electrical engineering and at least a couple of years of experience coding in Python, C++ or similar. In addition, you will need experience working with test simulation or in a lab. You have gained the knowledge of how to verify that test results are in line with expectations.

CONTINGENT WORKER ROLE DESCRIPTORS – COVID-19 ASSESSMENT LABORATORY SCIENTIST (CL C/D)

This facility will be used for high throughput screening for COVID-19 screening of AstraZeneca Key Workers. Staff within this laboratory will be expected to work a shift pattern to enable 16 hours a day operation across 5 days a week – Tuesday to Saturday and some weeks Mondays as well. Hours are 7am-4pm, 12pm-9pm. Please apply only if you are satisfied you can accommodate these shift patterns.

This role covers responsibilities in two main areas: the Sample Handling Laboratories and the Molecular Biology Laboratories. Applicants can specify a preference to work in either area, or to flex across both.
Sample Handling: Scientists working in the Sample handling Laboratories are responsible for all process stages from arrival of human assessment specimens (currently saliva or nasal swabs) at the sample handling labs to the transfer of virally inactivated samples to the adjacent molecular biology labs. This work is performed to Biological Safety Level 2 (BSL2) in LAF containment facilities with appropriate PPE. Prior experience of working with infectious biological material to BS2 and with PPE is a key requirement for working in the sample handling laboratories.
Primary responsibilities include: visually inspecting specimens for packaging integrity (correct intact number of barrier layers, no evidence of leakage/spillage); assessment suitability (e.g., rejecting samples not properly labelled, containing foreign matter, incorrect volumes etc.); ensuring they are accounted for on the specimen manifest; following inspection, the removal of specimen transport tubes from the kit packaging; scanning into the LIMS system; and transfer to racks for further processing in suitably contained liquid handling automation. Tube to plate transfer, sample lysis and inactivation will be performed on the automation, and once completed the plates will be transferred to the adjacent molecular biology laboratories. On occasion this process may be run manually requiring experience with manual pipetting. Individuals will receive full technical and safety training for this whole process which will be performed to strictly defined COVID-19 specific SOPs.

About the job

We are responsible for future cell strategies and to support cell suppliers and material companies to develop cells tailored for Volvo Cars attribute requirements. The team is also responsible for the battery usage strategies to make sure we have a reliable battery performance & durability in our electrified vehicles. We have the cell chemistry competence to support performance and life model development, performance and life testing and the system safety team with cell safety knowledge.

What you’ll do
You will develop and verify usage strategies based on identified ageing mechanisms, life test data, customer analysis and field data. You will work to ensure the quality of the battery system by bringing state-of the art technologies and experience to the team. You need to understand cell design and the cell chemistry level limits to cell performance over life, such as cell ageing mechanisms, cell swelling and sudden death behavior. 

You will be involved in developing the cell design and cell chemistry together with the cell suppliers. In order to do so you will work in close cooperation with the CAE, Software, Testing, Cell, Module and System teams. 


Do you fit the profile?
We see that you have at least a master’s degree in chemistry, material science or equivalent. You possess strong knowledge of Li-ion battery technology, cell design and testing with at least 2 years of experience from cell development or production. Swedish Matchs verksamhet och produktsortiment växer. Till R&D-avdelningen på Swedish Match Europe Division i Göteborg söker vi nu en erfaren utvecklingsingenjör för att utöka gruppen Development Purified Products.

Arbetsuppgifter
Som en av flera specialister i ett dedikerat team kommer du att planera och driva teknikdrivna nyutvecklingsprojekt genom hela utvecklingskedjan inom det nya produktsegmentet Purified Products (vita nikotinprodukter utan tobak, med varumärken som ZYN). Du kommer att systematiskt kartlägga produktegenskaper på grundläggande nivå och därefter, via faktabaserad idégenerering och försöksplanering, driva projekten i mål. Exempel på arbetsuppgifter är idégenerering, projektledning, planering, utförande och samordning av experimentellt utvecklings- och implementeringsarbete. Även förbättring av befintliga produkter, och arbete med IPR och regulatoriska aspekter ingår i tjänsten. Som utvecklingsingenjör samarbetar du inte bara med övriga delar av R&D utan även med marknadsavdelningen bland annat för att kartlägga konsumentpreferenser, med produktionen för framgångsrik implementation och processutveckling samt med externa intressenter såsom leverantörer och institut.

Kvalifikationer och personliga egenskaper
Vi tror att du har eftergymnasial utbildning inom kemiteknik, bioteknik, läkemedelsteknik eller motsvarande och minst fem års arbetslivserfarenhet från industriellt utvecklingsarbete inom liknande industri, såsom livsmedel, läkemedel eller medicinsk teknik. Specifik erfarenhet från formulering, mixningsprocesser och processutveckling samt fysikaliska analysmetoder är meriterande.

Som person är du idérik och du tar initiativ till att testa nytt under ett systematiskt tillvägagångssätt. Med din kommunikativa förmåga ser du till att alla inblandade jobbar åt samma håll och projektet når utsatta mål. Vi söker dig som trivs i en organisation där det finns stora möjligheter att påverka och ta eget ansvar. Detta är en roll med många tvärfunktionella kontakter så gillar du att skapa relationer och jobba nära andra funktioner tror vi att du kommer att trivas.
