Since 2006, we’ve gone our own way. Our focus has never been on growth for the sake of growth; instead, we’ve built a company with people who are curious and understand that business is all about people and their infinite learning. We try not to get stuck in corporate bs, which means we build the company we’d love to work for. Some examples;
We don’t believe in big company goals. Instead, we believe that if we keep a curious mind and become a little bit better every day, we achieve long-term success.
We value output rather than 9-5. We adapt to changes, avoid unnecessary meetings, and aim for asynchronous communication because we believe in calmness and deep work.
We have always championed an idea-driven culture, valuing originality, creativity, deep thinking, reflection, and collaboration.
We want to work with the smartest and most humble people. We’ve found it’s simply more fun that way.

With that, our culture has always been the most important product we have built. Weird to say to a product developer? Maybe. But know this: we love the products we co-create with our customers, too. It’s actually a dedication to exceptional quality in our products, as well as driving a great customer experience, that has led to the fact that you can find our two brands (Dope and Montec) on most slopes around the world. From one winter season to the next, we keep improving everything we do, and our products evolve along with us and our customers.
What’s this role about, then? To start with, you’ll dive into Ridestore, get to know your new teammates, understand what makes us unique, who’s who, what tools we use, explore our brands and products to grasp their current identities, where to get coffee, what kind of fabric the nerdy R&D guy is talking about… and… you get it; learn a lot about your new work.
Then, depending on your background and how fast you learn, we see you engaging in a variety of things in this role, some probably from day one, others way later:
Iterative product development: You will continuously build and improve products over time, ensuring the creation of the best possible results while finding purpose and fulfillment in the process.
Test new designs: You’ll experiment with new ideas, identify design risks, and collaborate with the design team to make construction decisions that ensure both quality and aesthetic alignment.
Own product improvements: You’ll drive product enhancements and clearly communicate sample feedback to suppliers. You will suggest and test technical improvements, digging deep to understand why some constructions work and why others fail.
Enhance technical quality:You'll contribute to building our quality by evaluating samples in detail and providing our factories with actionable feedback.
Optimize the product development team: Support in building and refining ways of working that keep the team efficient and agile. You’ll be expected to bring a passion for improving how we do things in product development.
Build technical assets: Using Adobe Illustrator, you’ll create and maintain a high-quality tech drawing library for all products.
Stay on top of projects: You’ll track project stages, prioritize urgent deliveries, and flag any potential delays.
Solve problems: You’ll approach challenges with an open mind and creativity, driving solutions when issues arise.
Share knowledge: We’re in this together. You’ll spread your technical expertise across the team and company to help people grow and get a better understanding of our products.
Sounds interesting, right? What you just read is meant to help you understand what we envision you driving and achieving so you know where to aim. As we grow and change, you and the team may realize your role may need to adapt and grow. We welcome change, so this list should help you understand our expectations but not box you in!
Who are you?
A sociable person, comfortable in both giving and receiving feedback
A passionate product developer
Self-driven and detail-oriented
Autonomous, capable of handling projects independently
A structured mind to keep projects on track
Problem-solving skills to tackle the coming bumps in the road
Humble to the bones and know how to laugh
You love working in a team

Your Experience
Experience in product development for functional outerwear
Deep knowledge of Illustrator
A clear understanding of lead times and product development processes

At Ridestore, we believe that turning a sketch into a finished product is an exciting journey of innovation. As a Product Developer, you'll play a crucial role in this journey. Your mission is to transform aesthetic visions into functional products that truly resonate with our customers.

Here's what you'll do

Being a Product Developer at Ridestore is more than just a job; it's a journey of growth, learning, and significant contributions to our production team's ongoing success. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be key in navigating the complexities of production timelines and achieving successful project outcomes. You'll ensure timely delivery of styles with the proper construction, quality, pricing, and lead time.

In the long term, you'll drive product development projects such as construction libraries and embrace new digital tools for product development. You'll continue to excel in your short-term missions while further developing your expertise.

Sounds interesting, right? This is who we’re looking for

We envision you as someone who has worked with outerwear brands, ski brands, workwear, or similar, where functionality is a fundamental aspect of product design. Your focus is more on the technical aspects rather than the design itself.

To hit the ground running in this role, you need to have:

- Extensive experience in product development for functional outerwear.

- Deep knowledge of Illustrator.

- A clear understanding of lead times and product development processes.

It would be even better if you have experience working with suppliers in Asia, but if not, a willingness to learn quickly is essential.

Join us and enjoy the freedom to work in a passionate and somewhat snowy environment where you can make a significant impact on the Ridestore journey with your work.

At Ridestore, we’ve always relied on tech and agile applications to lead the way to innovation. This is something that has resonated within Ridestore ever since Linus (one of our founders) built the first version of ridestore.com in his childhood bedroom.

That’s now almost 20 years ago, but this approach is still with us today, and for our finance team, it’s no different. By utilizing agile applications we’ve been able to automize a lot of traditional finance work. But we are not done. To let our team focus on what they do best, we are now looking for someone to step in and take ownership of our applications and help the Finance team to reach new heights.

Why are we looking for a Product Owner?
Simply put, we need someone that brings more tech knowledge to the team and makes our work more automated and systemized. You will have complete responsibility for all technical products in the finance team and be the link between developers and teams with all that it entails (coding, business logic, etc.).

What you'll be doing?
In the short term, we need you to take ownership of the Netsuite application and make sure we own our backlog and development projects internally and towards our IT partner. Taking your dedication and superpowers to take our way of doing things to the next level. The main short-term focus is to build a structure in and around Netsuite from a user perspective. You will ensure that the system is being used in the most optimal way and that our finance teammates have everything they need from the system.

In the long term, you will take ownership of all applications within Finance with the objective of building automation and effective processes. You might also have played a key role in building the internal reporting and analysis package that Ridestore uses as the single source of truth when it comes to analyzing business figures.

How the long-term perspective will look is impossible to say. But with a culture rooted in constant change and flexibility we are not in any way bound to the applications we use today. And if there are better applications that work better for us, you will be the driver of change and innovation within the team.

Sounds interesting? Then this is who we’re looking for!
You have an interest in both Finance and Tech and love to support your fellow colleagues with your technical expertise. We have set up our ways of working with asynchronous communication in the core - we use Asana as a shared productivity tool on which we base the majority of our work and Slack for culture, fast comms, and fun. This means we have a flexible environment where you can focus, but it demands a lot from everyone as you need to be the driver of your work. Being a driver means taking charge, getting information and resources, and solving problems. You don't have to do everything alone, but it's your job to keep the work moving and ask for help when needed.

Since we would like you to hit the ground running from day one, it’s crucial that you have the following:

-
Strong financial knowledge and experience, including accounting principles and financial analysis, and experience with the Netsuite cloud-based financial system

- Understanding of agile methodology and experience working in an agile development environment

- Experience in developing financial products and services

- Experience with D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) e-commerce platforms and operations

It's an added advantage if you possess a familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analysis, along with proficiency in . Experience with Commercetools as an e-commerce platform is highly desirable, as is knowledge of Third-Party Logistics (TPL) integrations and their role in supporting financial operations.

Where you’ll do it? ?????????????
Mostly remote. But we want you in the CET zone plus/minus 2 hours as most of our teams are based in Europe. Ridestore has been remote since 2014, except for some people who work in Gothenburg, where we have our only office (https://career.ridestore.com/pages/gothenburg). In this particular role, we want you to be able to visit the office when needed, which means you should be open to traveling to Gothenburg once in a while.

We’ll offer you freedom in a passionate and somewhat snowy environment where you can significantly impact the Ridestore journey with your work.

We look forward to seeing what you can bring to the Ridestore team!

How we do it
We want to get to know you and your unique perspective, so we ask that you answer some questions that we find interesting as the first step in the application process. So do not put any time into writing a cover letter.
Hope to see you in the process! Visa mindre

Our passion for delivering the best remains unchanged, and we’re always looking to improve. We're looking for a skilled person to enhance our design processes and bring ideas to (virtual) life.

In the short term, we want you to get to know the team, the company, and our products. The best way to learn our way of doing things will be to dive right into the role where you will ensure impeccable fit for specific projects and products.

In the longer term, we want you to take charge of fit-centric projects. Think simplification, effectiveness, and modernization. Participate in transformative projects like block pattern designs, product development, and evaluating innovative digital tools.

WHAT WE HOPE YOU HAVE IN YOUR BACKPACK ????

- Experienced in Adobe Illustrator

- Experienced in Google Workspace - especially Sheets

And you get bonus points for:

Over the years, our business has gone from an idea of - let’s see what we can do if we focus on quality and co-creation with happy customers - to a rather big business reaching over the snowy tops of the world with our two brands Dope (https://www.dopesnow.com/) and MONTEC (https://www.montecwear.com/). Still with the same ethos, but with a bigger business comes more complexity. We do love challenges at Ridestore, but we also realize when we need additional expertise. In this case, we’re looking for a person with a background as a commercial analyst (or a similar role) for us to level up the procurement side at Ridestore. We want to keep a lean organization, so it’s vital that you are strategic and, at the same time, thrive in being hands-on. As it’s a team lead role, you enjoy leading others.

WHAT WE SEE IN THE ROLE ?????

We want you to bring all your experiences, dive into our context, throw out some of your old truths, and create magic with the team.

In the short term, your primary focus will be onboarding and getting to know Ridestore with all its ins and outs, and building relations, especially with your teammates. This won't be hard, as the Ridestore crew is welcoming. If we should look in more detail at what we see you focusing on from the start, it will be about; sales and stock-level follow-ups and then moving into purchasing support for the team as the season progresses.

Btw, if you wonder about our current tech stack, the interesting parts are:

- Snowflake
- Fivetran
- DBT
- Mode Analytics
- AWS
- Hightouch.io

In the long term, you'll also be responsible for setting the strategy and structure of your team. Your over-arching theme will be to enable and develop more tech-savvy ways of working so the team can become more autonomous. An essential part is that you will ensure that our annual orders are based on accurate sales analysis for optimal performance in the upcoming seasons. At this point, you will be a go-to person for sales numbers and analytics at Ridestore.

Areas we think you’ll get your hands on:

- Understand the demographics, needs, and motivations of our Dope and Montec customers
- Analyze and share insights on business performance, market trends, and customer behavior to guide strategic decision-making
- Forecast and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock for each season
- Develop, optimize, and improve sales strategies based on comprehensive data analysis
- Monitor key business performance metrics across markets, providing actionable insights for growth and improvement
- Assist with projects focused on pricing and promotional strategies
- Ensure data accessibility and relevance by identifying specific data needs and quality requirements
- Develop customer segmentations and data features to enhance customer experience and marketing effectiveness
- Develop and build functions to improve data-driven decision-making

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? ????

Someone with a humble, natural leadership style and a genuine passion for developing others. Strong written communication skills are essential in our ways of working as most of our team is remote, as is the ability to build relationships in our hybrid world. Our ideal candidate is goal and detail-oriented and a true problem solver who has strategic thinking combined with analytical skills. In addition, being a hands-on doer who’s resilient and flexible will help you thrive in this role. Lastly, we value self-managed individuals with a growth mindset, so you love to drive your work and see where this learning and changing journey can take us.

To have a running start in this role, we need you to have the following:

- Team leadership experience
- Experience from a commercial analyst role or similar
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely
- Great skills & familiarity with statistical software e.g., R, Python
- Experience across dashboarding tools, such as Mode Analytics
- Proven ability to analyze financial, inventory, and sales data
- Familiarity with forecasting models and project management tools
- Understanding of success metrics in an e-commerce business

And to succeed at Ridestore, it’s essential that you:

- Have a business sense and can be strategic yet operational in a sweet mix
- Are logical, persistent, and thorough in your work
- Are humble to the bones; we want to work with smart people who are also great colleagues

- Know how to laugh and have fun

WHERE YOU'LL DO IT ????

The Product team, Purchasing, Finance, and our CEO, whom you will collaborate closely with, are based in our great office (https://career.ridestore.com/pages/gothenburg) in Gothenburg. So in this role, we prefer that you are based around Gothenburg or have the flexibility to spend significant time there, especially in the beginning. In general, we offer you big flexibility in how and when you get your work done, as our way of working is digital.

Join us! We'll offer you a dynamic and somewhat snowy environment where you can significantly impact the Ridestore journey with your work.

We are looking for a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to take a key role in our tech team and enable us to reach new heights with our frontend and backend systems.
We are a tech-heavy company. There's a reason we see ourselves at the crossroads of fashion and tech; most of our systems, be it logistical, financial or e-commerce are developed in-house. Why? Because we're pushing the line of how a brand operates, and when there's not enough out there that supports us in our quest, we build it ourselves. Our employees, regardless of department, are tech-savvy and look to technology to solve their needs. They rely on our internal systems to be fast-moving.
Our current tech stack: https://stackshare.io/ridestore/ridestore-new
This position is located in the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden at Ridestore HQ. We will provide relocation support for the right candidate.

Who We Are:
Ridestore was founded over 10 years ago. We had a passion to create products and brands that people truly wanted. The era where brands told people what they should wear or do is dead. Everyone's an expert. The customer knows what they like and what they want to wear much better than the designer.
So our job is to listen. A brand in this new era is there to serve and empower The customer. The expert. If you do that well then your brand will spread from one person to another, peer to peer. This changes everything in how you design products and create a brand. You have to truly listen to the customers, you have to give them a voice and empower them.
We get things done. That has taken us over half a billion SEK in revenue and 100% year-on-year organic growth. We want to own the outerwear conversation online. Our brands Dope Snow & Montecwear are the first brands created from listening to what The Customer wants.
If you would like to know more about us as a company you can read about us on: https://inside.ridestore.com or check out https://montecwear.com, https://dopesnow.com & https://ridestore.com

Who You Are:
We are looking for competent, crafty ”systems thinkers” with a ”just get it done” attitude. This means that you know your stuff. You like to build and test things. You want to become the best at your craft. You care about details and quality. You can see the bigger picture and connect dots across multiple disciplines like data, design, product and brand. You never become a victim. You empower others. You get the job done. You find a way even when there is no clear way. You demonstrate courage.
Change is your favorite constant, and you’re excited to be part of a current that keeps you lively.
You’ve never even had a comfort zone. You live to take challenges, and you’re excited to help your team do the same.
You don’t accept “tradition” as an answer. You’re all about deconstructing problems to get to the core of the issue first.
Executing projects at the highest level is your main goal, and you’re proud to do it over and over again.
You’re excited to be part of the entire process. We’re a small team, and we have our hands in all of it.
You’re an entrepreneur, consultant, or human who hates prestige and takes responsibility for your own work.
You know when to give open, honest feedback, especially when it’s uncomfortable.
You’re thrilled by creating your own role, outperforming yourself, and encouraging your teammates to do the same.
Passion isn’t just a word to you, it’s a lifestyle. And you lead that by example.

What you will be doing:
Development and support of internal services
Monitoring systems and integration of third-party services
Support and optimization of the website - adding new functionality, fixing errors and research activities to improve the operation of the entire system.
CI/CD environment setup testing

Requirements:
5+ years experience in a related role
Experience in Golang, TypeScript, Javascript, Node.js service-based application architecture with high scalability
Experience with Amazon Web Services and Serverless stack
Considerable hands-on experience developing applications for backend APIs (REST, GraphQL).
Experience with and No databases
Excellent knowledge of frontend frameworks like React, Angular
Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Travis/github actions/TeamCity)
You are a passionate advocate for clean code and good engineering practices
You care about standards, compliance, and security
Experience working independently with high levels of self management

What we can offer you at Ridestore:
Your hands in the core of what we do
Open and honest culture, where doing great things is more important than politics
Develop yourself to new levels within your field of expertise
All the equipment you can possibly need to be effective.
Work with a very talented tech team
Company retreats/meetups

Our business has grown fast in the last few years because we put all our focus into building our two snow brands, Dope (https://www.dopesnow.com/) and MONTEC (https://www.montecwear.com/). We have come far, but to drive our brands to the next level, we’re now looking for an experienced marketing leader to step in and take care of our marketing team and the operations. This will give way for the creative side of marketing to take our branding to something new.

WHAT WE SEE IN THE ROLE ?????

In the short term, your primary focus will be to bring an experienced and objective view to Ridestore and our two brands. Working closely with Dan Stremel (https://www.linkedin.com/in/daniel-stremel-688521aa/), you will establish the best possible working relationship together from day one to lead Ridestore’s brand and marketing efforts, where you'll be focusing on the team and operations and Dan traversing over toward the brand and the innovation side.

You will also play a crucial role in streamlining marketing workflows and processes and introducing new and effective ways of working. In collaboration with the marketing team, you will review and improve the current marketing strategy to ensure it aligns with our goals, target audience, positioning, messaging, and tactics. This includes streamlining our manual processes, improving our content workflows, and making sure the content production team knows what's working best.

You will be key in building strong and lasting partnerships with other teams to ensure seamless alignment and support for marketing initiatives. We want you to increase transparency and communication within the marketing team and see to it that everyone is informed and understands our direction.

In the long term, you lead the best and happiest marketing team around. A team that works seamlessly with the rest of the crew guided by you through a visionary and hands-on leadership style that's all about change and empowerment. Your team is excited to work with you because they want to, not because they have to. Together you have been able to build top-of-class brands by developing a progressive and agile marketing team.

You have led the charge in developing a well-functioning monthly marketing strategy review process about performance and data.

And by now, we got the organizational setup pretty dialed, with all brand and marketing functions housed within the marketing team. You have taken the team to the next level, refined and improved the setup, and empowered them to be efficient and creative. You and Dan have found the magic in combining marketing operations and creative work to drive our brands on an exciting journey.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? ????

Ideally, you have worked with D2C brands, but more importantly, you have experienced firsthand a fast-paced and changing growth environment with engaged owners. You hopefully have experience with asynchronous ways of working as we’re a digital organization using Asana as a shared workspace, and Slack for culture, fast comms, and fun. This means we have a flexible environment where you can focus, but it demands a lot from everyone as you need to be the driver of your work.

To have a running start in this role, you have experience of ????

- Leading teams: contributed to the success of ???????? teams

- Managed Projects: overseen the execution and performance of marketing initiatives

- Analyzing data and reports: used data to inform decision-making and effectively communicated insights to stakeholders

- Maintaining strong brands: developed and maintained a strong brand presence through effective marketing strategies

- Tools and process research: identify and implement the most effective long-term solutions through internal and external research

- Targeted customers segments: segmented and targeted audiences

- Digital marketing campaigns: leveraged digital channels to reach and engage target audiences

- Strategic marketing plans: developed and executed marketing strategies that drove business growth

And you’d be an even better match if you have experience with some of these! If you don’t, no problem; we know you love to learn.

- Experience in leading remote teams

- Experience with Asana or similar tool

- CMS (Bynder, CommerceTools)

- Google Analytics

- Market knowledge in our field of business

To thrive in this role, we see that you as a person;

- Are humble and approachable, a great colleague to work with

- Enjoy developing others

- Have critical thinking with an eye for details

- Are a goal-driven problem-solver

- Do not have a problem making decisions

- Enjoy collaboration and cross-functional teamwork

- Have awesome communication skills

- Are adaptable and flexible

- Are a self-starter with a growth mindset

WHERE YOU’LL DO IT ????

It's a full-time role, remotely. We want you in the CET zone plus/minus 2 hours as most of our teams are based in Europe. Ridestore has been remote since 2014, except for some people who work in Gothenburg, our only office. This means there is an office to visit and work from when needed.

Join us! We’ll offer you freedom in a passionate and somewhat snowy environment where you can greatly impact the Ridestore journey with your work. ????????

HOW WE DO IT
We want to see the person behind the application. So don't put any effort into writing a cover letter before applying; instead, you will get to write answers to some questions that we find interesting for this role! Good luck, and have fun. Looking forward to seeing you in the process. Visa mindre

Who are we?
Ridestore was founded over 10 years ago. We had a passion to create products and brands that people truly wanted. The era where brands told people what they should wear or do is dead. Everyone's an expert. The customer knows what they like and what they want to wear much better than the designer.
So our job is to listen. A brand in this new era is there to serve and empower The customer. The expert. If you do that well then your brand will spread from one person to another, peer to peer. This changes everything in how you design products and create a brand. You have to truly listen to the customers, you have to give them a voice and empower them.
We get things done. That has taken us close to half a billion sek in revenue and 100% year on year organic growth. We want to own the outerwear conversation online. Our brands Dope Snow & Montecwear are the first brands created from listening to what The Customer wants.
