As a Vice President, you are responsible but not limited to:
Sales & marketing:
Look for expansion opportunities, like new customers, markets, and industry developments.
Define and pivot unique Business Unit proposition, clients as well as client acquisition strategies, engaging Marketing and Sales departments when required.
Compose temporary and permanent working groups to define and execute sales strategies.
Have effective pre-sale organization able to respond to opportunities fast and with high conversion rates.
Define pricing structure and pricing level in a way so proposition is aligned with overall company positioning.
Manage Business Unit customers portfolio and representation of a company in general publicity.
Contribute to the sales and profitability requirements of the business as determined by the strategic plans.
Maintain awareness of competitors, expansion opportunities, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards.
Take active part in network development by participating and speaking on external conferences.
Resource management:
Perform effective resource planning on Business Unit level.
Lead, guide, direct and evaluate work of other senior leaders.
Build effective resource management structure and grow mature resource managers.
Ensure high motivation and future confidence among personnel, as well as low attrition rates together with HR department.
Contribute to company image on a job market by public speaking and experience exchange outside of organization.
Delivery management:
Manage functions with significant operational, development or business impact.
Ensure excellence on all stages of project and service, including demands and requirements collection, architectural design, estimation and planning, execution, risk and expectation management.
Initiate, execute and ensure on-time deliveries for all projects.
Regularly monitor projects portfolio to ensure on-time and high quality deliveries, fulfilled commitments, reaction to risks and escalations as well as proactive measures.
Ensure business domain and technical expertise accumulation as well as its effective reuse in future assignments.
Support and develop relations with key clients.
Budget and managerial accounting:
Compose annual budgets, forecasts and ensure highest possible precision and continuous improvement in budgeting and follow-up quality.
Manage of Business Unit finances/budget, influence day to day operations to get highest possible financial KPIs.
Perform regular Business Unit performance reporting.
Ensure zero tolerance to debts and perform high quality debt management.
