We have experience from most engine/vehicle applications and have covered certification and compliance based on legal requirements from all over the world.

We are in the process of expanding our company due to the high customer need for compliance engineers, mostly in the Gothenburg Metropolitan Area. Currently the company consist of ten employees distributed to various engine/vehicle companies.

We are ready to educate and tutor yet another Compliance Engineer. Until the point where you will be appointed to a customer, CerCo Consultants AB will offer you an initial training period to get acquainted with the legal background of certification, compliance and homologation.

Are you a structured, responsible, and driven engineer? As a Compliance Engineer towards the engine/vehicle industry you will find yourself a key player in the customer’s process of retrieving, maintaining, and keeping the necessary certificates.

Your role
The role mainly includes general engineering knowledge of combustion engines, vehicle technology and measurements techniques, being able to read and interpret legislation, as well as filling the role as project leader.

Typical tasks may invlove;
- Assembling legal requirements and structure such into testing and documentation needed
- Being part of engine/vehicle development projects with our customers
- Identify necessary people at the company and distribute deadlines and responsibilities
- Planning and execution of certification testing (may involve travelling)
- Submission of application documentation
- Continuous follow-up of progress for ongoing testing and development projects
- Authority contacts and negotiations

Who you are
You have a bachelor degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical or other relevant engineering field. You could also have similar work experience from engine/vehicle industry or have worked with certification and compliance towards other industries.

To succeed in this role we think that you're structured, can plan your work independently, are comfortable working and communicating pedagogically with various teams and clients. Besides educational and working background, who you are as a person and how well you fit with our team and clients are the most crucial aspects for this role.

For this role you need to be fluent in English.

Ditt uppdrag
Byggnadsprojekten kommer främst bestå av nybyggnationer av villor och hus i Göteborgsområdet för privatpersoner. Dina arbetsuppgifter kommer huvudsakligen innebära finsnickeriarbete av specialdesignade detaljer i framförallt interiören, som ex. försänkta undertak, kök och badrum samt annan fast inredning.

Vem är du
Du har flerårig yrkeserfarenhet och utbildning som finsnickare eller annan likvärdig arbetslivserfarenhet. Vi ser även att du har erfarenhet och kan visa projektreferenser från att ha konstruerat och slutfört detaljerade snickeriarbeten interiört eller exteriört.

Your role
As a compliance engineer your role will entail planning and executing certification testing on site, handling contact and application submissions with the competent authorities as well as negotiations of contracts. The role will also include working as a consultant and project manager on engine/vehicle development project for our clients by managing and distributing deadlines and responsibilities, assembling legal requirements and documentation needed and structuring thus into testing procedures and contious follow-up of progress.

Who you are
The role requires general engineering knowledge of propulsion engines, vehicle technology and measurements techniques, being able to read and interpret legislation, as well as filling the role as project leader. We think that you need to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field such as mechanical, electronical and chemical engineering and/or similar work experience from engine/vehicle industry or having worked with certification and compliance towards other industries. Any additional knowledge in On-Board Diagnostics (OBD), cybersecurity, Software Update Management System (SUMS), function and quality sustainability would be beneficial.
