Om Tjänsten:
I den här tjänsten kommer du att ha en central position i organisationen och ansvara för hanteringen av ekonomiadministrationen. Du kommer att sköta bokföring samt administrera leverantörs- och kundfakturor. Detta inkluderar att dagligen hantera kontakter med leverantörer, kunder och personal angående fakturor. Du kommer att jobba nära VD och ha vid behov tillgång till en Senior Controller, Löneexpert och en systemadministratör.

Utvalda arbetsuppgifter:

- Löner.

- Ansvara för ekonomifunktionens e-mail.

- Lagerkontroll.

Who are we?
Group Accounting & Consolidation is a function within Group Reporting Tax & Control with responsibility for governance of the Volvo Group consolidation process, development, and implementation of accounting policies (IFRS) for the Volvo Group and the external financial reporting including related processes. This responsibility includes ownership of accounting instructions, timetables, and structures in financial systems.

Your team, IFRS/Legal, at the group accounting department is responsible for the consolidation of the Volvo Group, and several other areas including accounting of mergers and acquisitions, equity, and tax.


You will contribute to the group’s external reports, presented in English and Swedish, and secure that Volvo Group’s accounting policies are updated and properly applied. You will also contribute with your accounting expertise to ongoing projects in different areas. You are curious and don’t hesitate to embrace complex questions to gain an overall understanding. You are not afraid to take decisions, but you have a feeling for when anchoring is needed.

Core responsibilities:
Functional leadership for your areas of responsibility, including closing, monthly analysis, and preparation of input to external reports.
Cooperation with stakeholders in different parts of the Group to analyze and ensure proper accounting treatment of business transactions.
Contribute in setting and maintaining Group accounting policies and develop user-friendly accounting instructions.
Communication with external auditors.
Ad-Hoc analysis.
Participate in projects.
Consolidation of the Group’s Equity.



Who are you:
You have an academic degree in accounting with a minimum of five years accounting experience preferably combined with consolidation experience. Experience from multi-cultural and global finance operations is a plus. You need to be proficient in accounting policy, preferable IFRS. Since the Volvo Group’s external reports are presented in both English and Swedish you need to be fluent in both languages, verbal and written.


You are positive, flexible, driven and you have a solution-oriented mindset. It is important that you are structured and well-organized and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have a genuine interest in accounting combined with analytical skills and are looking to develop your skills in these areas.
