We are looking for a Laboratory Services Manager to join our Research & Development team and to contribute to our medical device portfolio in Advanced Wound Management (AWM). As a Laboratory Services Manager, you will secure the laboratory competence and resources to support the AWM business. You will work in close cooperation with colleagues within R&D, cross-functionally throughout the company, as well as with external contacts. This position is a permanent full-time employment based in Gothenburg.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Secure laboratory competence and resources to support innovation projects and business
• Secure reliable and valid laboratory methods, equipment and test results
• Lead and develop the laboratory staff
• Represent ABIGO towards external laboratories
• Secure laboratory procedures and instructions in the quality management system
• Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory and safety requirements 
 
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Academic education (BSc, MSc) in material science or equivalent
• Experience of absorbing and tensile testing, and of test method validation and development
• Preferably experience of laboratory development
• Preferably experience of a manager position or team leader role

Scientist within Microbiology, ABIGO Medical AB

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Research & Development team and to contribute to our medical device segment related to advanced wound management (AWM) products. As a Scientist, you will work with primarily microbiological analyses, method development and research to support the AWM business. You will work in close cooperation with colleagues within R&D, cross-functionally throughout the company, as well as with external contacts.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, implement, and report tests verifying product performance.
• Develop and maintain key methods within microbiology in wound care.
• Prepare publications and oral presentations.
• Lead and/or participate in research projects.
• Maintain laboratory facilities, e. g. by having instrument responsibility.
• Create, review and maintain product related technical documentation.
• Plan and execute biocompatibility evaluations according to applicable standards and regulatory requirements in defined markets.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD, licentiate, or MSc in microbiology/molecular biology.
• Preferably 1-2 years’ industrial experience within cell or microbiology, preferably from the food- or health care sector.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Du kommer tillhöra företagets IT avdelning och arbeta tillsammans i ett team på 4 personer där ditt arbete kommer omfatta att hantera 1st & 2nd-linesupport med tyngdpunkt på applikationsområdet innehållandes både support till användare och genomförande av utbildning.
 
Du utgår från vårt huvudkontor i Askim, Göteborg men kommer även att ge support till vår produktionsavdelning i Askersund så en viss mängd resor kommer ingå i arbetet. I din roll kommer du vara "Single Point of Contact" i supporten, vilket innebär att du kommer vara den första kontakten för alla företagets interna användare. Du kommer till exempel att:

As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will work in close cooperation with colleagues within Regulatory Affairs, as well as cross-functionally throughout the company. In addition, in this role, you will focus, in close cooperation with ABIGO’s main partner, on supporting regulatory compliance in the US and local markets worldwide (e.g. North and South America, Asia, Africa).
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain positive, professional relationship with ABIGO’s main partner
• Maintain regulatory compliance in current markets through the necessary regulatory actions related to product changes (listings, registrations, change notifications, pre-approval submissions, including e.g. US 510(k))
• Enable geo-expansion through coordination and management of registration activities in new markets
• Secure continued growth in current markets through registration of additional products
• Enable continued sales through renewal applications/listings in current markets
• Act as RA representative in product change projects
• Create and maintain product related regulatory documentation
• Monitor regulatory requirements internationally
• Initiate and support actions to implement and maintain compliance to relevant jurisdictions
• Contribute to and lead process improvement
 
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Academic background within life science or other scientific education
• At least five years of experience within Life Science
• At least 3 years of experience within medical device Regulatory Affairs and work with US and local markets
• Effective communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

You will plan, implement and report tests and the work involves both routine analyses and method development and validation work. You will work primarily with microbiological techniques, but also with methods evaluating material characteristics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform laboratory maintenance, e.g. calibration
• Perform routine analysis

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Biomedical Analyst or corresponding exam
• Min. three years of documented experience from laboratory engineer work within medical device- or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in GLP documentation
• Good laboratory skills
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

ROLLEN SOM CLINICAL RESEARCH MANAGER 
 
Du kommer att:
 
- Vara ansvarig för att följa upp alla förslag på prövarinitierade studier som kommer till ABIGOs kännedom samt aktivt söka information om studier globalt.
- Följa upp slutresultat samt lämna över för hantering av publikation och föredrag av nya kliniska data.
- Vara övergripande och operativt ansvarig för alla kliniska studier globalt i enlighet med gällande regelverk.
- Ansvara för t.ex insamling av data för case reports och utvärdering av produkter samt framtagande av posters etc.
- Representera MedTech Division i frågor rörande kliniska studier i samband med Clinical evaluations och MDR i tvärsnitt mot RA och R&D.
- Upprätta en fullständig dokumentation av publicerade kliniska data och erfarenheter från klinisk användning av Sorbact.
 
 
FÖR ATT VARA AKTUELL FÖR ROLLEN BEHÖVER DU:
 
- Ha en akademisk utbildning (BSc, MSc) som receptarie, apotekare eller motsvarande.
- Ha minst 5 års erfarenhet av att arbeta inom läkemedel/medicinteknikbranschen med klinisk forskning.
- Erfarenhet av prövarinitierade studier samt sårbehandlingsbranschen är meriterande.
- Kommunicera obegränsat på svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift.
