Power electronics engineer

Tasks
You contribute to the development of automotive electric/electronic components and subsystems like power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC), battery management system (BMS) hardware, on board chargers, ECUs, power supplies
You work on analogic/digital electronic design for automotive components, electrical architecture, electrical simulations and PCB layout design
You are tasked with HW requirements engineering for automotive components
You conduct and manage tests, specialist measurements, investigation works and environment characterization
Ideally, you are experienced in the field of hybrid and electric vehicles


Qualification
You have successfully completed a relevant engineering degree (electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, etc.)
If you have only a bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of proven industrial experience is needed.
If you have a master's degree, at least 5 years of proven industrial experience is needed.
PhD holders in the power electronics field with limited industrial experience will also be considered.
You have at least three years of relevant experience in hardware design engineering, schematic editing (Orcad Capture, Mentor Pads, Altium), electrical simulations (Orcad PSpice, Simetrix, Ltspice), BOM management and PCB layout (Orcad Allegro, Altium, Mentor Pads, etc)
You have knowledge of automotive E/E architecture, ECUs, Electrical wiring, Control devices, Sensors (pressure, magnetic, voltage/current with various interfaces), Network communication, power electronics
Strong knowledge of power electronic circuits, including gate drivers, current sensors, EMI filters, and isolated power supplies, is required.
Proficiency in AC/DC and DC/DC power converter topologies, such as two-level and multi-level, both isolated and non-isolated, is essential.
You have experience in the use of 3D CAD programs for creating 3D-models to be used for HW integration models. CATIA, CREO or NX
You are experienced in the use of tools like oscilloscope, electronic loads, CAN/LIN emulators, spectrum analyzer, LISN, anechoic chamber tests
ISO 26262 automotive standard knowledge is a plus
You have previously worked as a project coordinator/ manager and/or supplier manager
You are fluent in written and spoken English; Swedish and German language skills are a plus
You are prepared to travel to customer sites and/or other FEV locations

Tasks
- You will work on system and mechanical component design in areas such as shafts, gears, clutches, park-lock, disconnect units, housings, mechanical parts of e-motors, inverters, batteries, etc.
- You will propose and deliver engineering solutions to challenges in accordance with cost, customer specifications, quality, and safety requirements
- You will act as a liaison to our international customers
- You will prepare and lead project meetings with the end-customer
- You will serve as an experienced design engineer who can support and lead design teams

Qualifications
- You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent?)
- You have 7+ years of experience in a leading role in mechanical validation for component, system, and vehicle level
- Experience of requirement specification system, ( SystemWeaver)
- High degree of flexibility, creativity, diligence, and technical understanding
- You are eager to develop further within technical fields that the market requires and are open-minded towards alternative technical developments
- You are highly motivated to support the commercial development of FEV on the Scandinavian market by sharing ideas and suggesting improvements
- Experience in heavy duty trucks development is meritorious

- Responsible for the customer interface for integration of prototype and series systems for all affected systems
- Oversee the design management for the implementation of complete driveline systems, including tank systems and all associated mechanical components
- Coordinate projects with all affected departments/areas at the customer site
- Coordinate projects with the customer and relevant FEV Group’s departments globally
- Responsible for presentations of project results, follow up on all KPIs, present in project review meetings with customers and internal FEV meetings

Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering or energy engineering
- Several years of relevant professional experience as a design engineer
- 10+ years of experience as a project manager
- 5+ years of experience managing large projects
- Confident attitude and strong communication skills
- High degree of flexibility, creativity, diligence, and technical understanding
- Team-oriented, but also capable of working independently and self-reliantly
- Experience in vehicle development is mandatory
- Experience in heavy-duty truck development and hydrogen driveline are meritorious
- Fluency in English is mandatory

Embedded C++ Developer (Automotive) (m/f/d)

Your Task:
Bring up and integrate Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR on multiple hardware configurations.
Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR BSW Stack configuration for Diagnostics stack, Memory (NvM) Stack, OS, COM Stack, RTE, and CDD.
Hands-on experience in developing and integrating various FCs of Adaptive std like ara::com, ara::diag, ara::exec, ara::per, ara::crypto etc
Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR SWC/Application development using embedded C and C++.
Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR tools like Vector Davinci (Configurator & Developer) or Adaptive tools, EB tresos/corbos Tool, CANoe, Vector-Cast, etc.
Sound debugging, requirement analysis, and source code analysis skills.
Manage the release of software components in a continuous integration environment.
Strong understanding of ISO26262 and relevant automotive safety and cybersecurity standards.

FEV is looking for a senior software developer to our team working with our range of testing software such as Morphee and Flexlab.
Design and implementation of tools supporting development activities during all phases of automotive development - ranging from systems engineering to integration
Optimization and automation of automotive development activities in different tool landscapes and CI/CD environments
Design and implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
Education as an IT specialist in application development or degree in information technology
At least 10 years of professional experience as a software developer in OOP (Java, C++, C#, Kotlin); Python knowledge would be a plus
Practical experience in implementing software development processes
Experience in modelling data
Knowledge of test automation, preferably including surface test automation
Experience with GitLab, Git and Jenkins
Ability to work independently
