Job Description


As a test engineer in Polymer System Solutions, you will be working with our polymer quick connects and the systems they are used in. Our customers are all major OEMs and we are focused on e-mobility.
You will be working out of our Center of Competence in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, where we have our R&D including test lab.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Collect product and process (testing) requirements for polymer quick connectors and systems from customers and define appropriate inspection and testing methods.
Drive test plans for validation of parts under development as well as for revalidation of production parts.
Perform testing of parts in internal test lab / coordinate testing at external test labs.
Create comprehensive test reports in English suitable for customer viewing as well as internal publication.
Initiate and complete key documents such as engineering test lists, DVP&R, etc.
Develop the test lab capabilities and coordinate all activities associated with the test lab.
Support analysis of issues reported via customer feedback, help to understand the underlying causes and be part of developing successful measures.
Support in other areas as needed within the Polymer R&D team.





Qualifications


5+ years automotive testing and part measuring experience, preferably with plastic parts and / or fluid systems
Degree in engineering (BSc/MSc) preferred
Strong knowledge in IATF 16949 and APQP
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English
Able to collaborate effectively across departmental functions
High integrity, fair, emotionally mature

Job Description
We are expanding our team in Gothenburg and are looking for a Head Quality & Environment Polymer Solutions Sweden. You will be responsible for assuring quality in all phases of our polymer value stream from raw material supply to customers' utilization of our products. This includes maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations, overseeing the quality assurance and control processes, and acting as the quality interface to customers and suppliers to guarantee product integrity and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities
Quality Management System
Maintain and improve the Oetiker Sweden Quality Management System (QMS)


Ensure compliance to quality standards such as APQP, IATF 16949, ISO14001 as well as to other applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. REACH, RoHS)


Plan and coordinate internal and external audits

Quality Assurance & continuous improvement
Implement and oversee the quality assurance and control processes

Qualifications
Higher degree in engineering (BSc/MSc)


7+ years experience leading a Quality team in automotive


Strong knowledge of APQP, IATF 16949 and ISO14001 (lead auditor certificate is a plus)


Strong knowledge of polymer processing techniques and plastic material properties

Define, monitor and review the strategies for assigned KA´s, long-term growth and budgeting targets

Our Polymer Development Center, located in the Nordic e-mobility cluster at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg, is a newly founded branch of the Oetiker Group in Sweden. Our agile and innovate team creates innovative new polymer connecting solutions and systems mainly for thermal management applications in electric vehicles. We benefit from the global footprint and expertise of the Oetiker Group while maintaining an innovative start-up feeling. We create high-quality solutions to ensure the future of clean and secure e-mobility.
Job Description
Prepare and submit quotations (including price and cost calculations, margin review and tracking)
Understand customer requirements, receive and manage correspondence (RFQ’s, drawings, samples, PPAP etc.) and coordinate with relevant internal departments
Support customer contract reviews
Conduct pricing analyses, manage pricing files
Manage part number files and create BOM
Manage customer master data in CRM & ERP
Manage and track won/lost business
Handle logistics for incoming and outgoing parts (components, samples)
Support Finance in processing invoices
Support HR (e.g. in recruiting activities)
Ensure compliance of location with all applicable safety and environmental regulations and be part of the global Oetiker H&S team



Qualifications
College Diploma or Degree in Business Administration (preferred)
7+ years work experience in sales administration, customer service or related position, preferably in automotive
Knowledge of IATF16949
Good skills in MS Office and CRM/ERP software
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English
Able to collaborate effectively across departmental functions
High integrity, fair, emotionally mature
Pro-active, self-driven

Job Description
Support sales as technical expert in interactions with customers and provide system integration design support to customers to integrate our solutions into their systems
Plan and execute R&D projects (products and processes) while meeting quality, cost and time expectations and report project status to team members and customers
Develop innovative concepts and solutions for new products, including detailed drawings and other design documents
Plan and oversee the production of samples/prototypes and manage all internal and external testing and validation activities for new polymer solutions
Plan and oversee feasibility studies to assess the possibilities and risks of achieving project goals
Coordinate and manage the creation of engineering-related paperwork, e.g. DVP&R and FMEA



Qualifications
Degree in engineering (BSc/MSc), preferably with a focus on polymers/plastics
5+ years working experience as a project engineer or equivalent, preferably in automotive or a high-volume OEM environment
Professional experience in the development and design of plastic parts
Excellent knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks and/or CATIA) and experience with quality standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
Strong project management and problem-solving skills as well as relevant experience in agile development methodologies
Ability to develop strong client relationships and to explain complex technical issues/solutions in a simple and compelling way
Business fluent oral/written communication and presentation in English
High integrity, fairness and emotional maturity, as well as a high degree of intellectual curiosity

Job Description
Define all quality-relevant product and process requirements for new polymer products and ensure that customer-specific requirements are considered and included
Define inspection and testing methods and perform testing of samples to make sure that they meet pre-defined performance and reliability requirements
Define core documents such as Process flow, PFMEA and Control Plan and keep an active dialogue with production partners to ensure that processes follow predetermined quality standards
Analyze issues reported via customer feedback, understand the underlying causes and be part of developing successful measures
Coordinate with the global product quality team and ensure that lessons learned are incorporated in new products and processes
Closely cooperate and network with Application Management and Sales and support them in product quality related matters

Qualifications
Degree in engineering or similar combined with relevant technical experience
3+ years quality experience in automotive and strong knowledge in IATF 16949 and APQP
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in a second language, e.g. German, Mandarin, Spanish
Excellent communication and follow-through skills and attention to detail
Able to collaborate effectively across departmental functions
Proven ability to promote transparency and effective reporting methods for various audiences
High integrity, fair, emotionally mature
Active listener, coach mentality, able to constructively challenge
Pro-active, self-driven
