Description of the assignment
As a Senior VR Visualization Artist, you will work collaboratively as a part of the design visualization team.
You will work cross projects and play an important role in a team that is involved in creating VR scenes and prepping models for it, for our inhouse needs: design reviews.

A good eye for imagery and animations is highly considered.

Description of the assignment
In this role, you are responsible for designing market-leading User Interfaces with stunning visuals for the cars. You will work within the HMI & UX Design department, a true cross-functional team where inter-disciplinary focus, curiosity and drive are highly valued. We work in close collaboration with all other design departments, as well as with Engineering and Marketing, to shape the mobility experience of the future.
As UI Designer you participate throughout the entire design process, from inspiration and research to building digital prototypes and specify the detailed design. Together with a team, you contribute to the development, evaluation and documentation of novel interaction concepts and information architectures for digital touch points, infotainment, driver information and telematics.
You collaborate on designing, running, and testing new solutions through experiments and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity. From visual storytelling, wireframing, click-through prototypes and animations to functional interactive prototypes. You systematically ensure that concepts are coherent, satisfy user needs and expectations, understand user pain points as well as meeting safety and regulatory requirements, and minimize driver distraction.

Your future role as Design Project Leader for ZEEKR Design

Our Design Project Leader will be leading and supporting the project team within Product Design and will be accountable for project management and deliveries according to design plans, milestones, and objectives of design project content (Exterior, Interior, C&M, Interaction, Visualization, and Design Quality) during all product development phases, from architecture definition to final product design.

I denna roll tillhör du enheten Sustainable Business som sedan 2013 arbetat med kunskapsbyggande inom cirkulär affärsmodellsinnovation inom områdena design, affärsekosystem, beslutsunderlag och cirkulära coacher. Vår utgångspunkt är att resursproduktiva cirkulära affärsmodeller kan katalysera konkurrenskraftig hållbar omställning och sammantaget radikalt minska klimat- och miljöpåverkan i samhället. Grundidén för hållbart värdeskapande som du kommer jobba med är följande: digitalisering och hållbarhetstrender skapar på många håll en ekonomisk och miljömässig affärsmöjlighet i att bättre utnyttja redan producerade produktvärden.

Om rollen
I denna roll kommer du jobba med att utveckla vår forskningsagenda kring produkt och tjänstedesign för affärsmodeller som bygger på maximerat värdebevarande. Du förväntas sprida kunskap till och mellan företag om hur man praktiskt kan arbeta med cirkulär design.

Initialt i rollen kommer du bidra med din expertis till dina nya kollegors projekt. Du kommer hjälpa till att definiera vår projektportfölj genom ansökningar eller offerter tillsammans med externa partner. För att senare kunna engagera kollegor och hjälpa dem skapa framsteg i projekt du varit med och skapat. Du kommer därefter kunna peka på ett erbjudande eller en tillämpning hos en extern partner, där du bidragit som innovationskatalysator. Vem är du?
Vi söker dig som är expert inom UX, tjänstedesign eller produktutveckling. Du har kunskaper och erfarenheter kring kund och brukarfrågor. Tex. kring metoder för att kartlägga behov och beteende. Du har förmågan att skapa och konkret tillämpa ny och värdefull kunskap om industridesign för cirkulär ekonomi. Färdighet i att visualisera och summera komplicerade koncept kommer ofta väl till pass hos oss. Även så kunskap om organisation och processer.

Du behärskar svenska men är van att kommunicera på engelska i tal och skrift.

Det finns många olika vägar till kunskap. Kombinationer av forskare och praktiker passar mycket bra i vår organisation och för vårt syfte. Är du främst forskare är du disputerad eller har bidragit till minst tre publikationer i väl ansedda internationella tidskrifter där någon är direkt relaterad till designprocessen. Är du främst praktiker har du varit med som designer och skapat ett marknadslanserat och ambitiöst erbjudande.

För att bli framgångsrik i rollen tror vi att du har idéer om hur forskningsfältet cirkulär design bör vidareutvecklas, och där du vill bidra till att vidareutveckla såväl RISE forskningsagenda som din egen forskningsagenda inom området. Consistent and proven previous CMF Design experience (not necessarily from automotive but beneficial). A minimum of at least 10 years’ work experience.

Being able to manage several projects at the same time, as well multiple stakeholders for successful collaboration across design disciplines, R&D, Project and Marketing teams.

The Design Project Leader for ZEEKR Design

Design Project Leader will be leading and supporting the project team within Product Design and will be accountable for project management and deliveries according to design plans, milestones and objectives of design project content (Exterior, Interior, C&M, Interaction, Visualization and Design Quality) during all product development phases, from architecture definition to final product design.



This is what you will do most of the time:

Drive according to product development process and time/logic plan, to fulfil project requirements and accomplish project objectives within Product Design.

Let us describe the challenge we offer

Our UX design team is growing at a fast pace, and we are lucky to have such a dynamic and creative team on this journey. At this rate, we are looking for you that will take on the overall responsibility for the UX Design development teams at Polestar Design, which already consists of highly talented UX Lead, UX Strategist, UX Designer, UI Designer, UX Researchers etc. This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.



What you'll do

This is a role where you will be making sure that the UX design ideas are realized by supporting a skilled team and latest tools. You will have the overall responsibility for digital deliveries and releases from Polestar Design. You will be securing that Polestar Design’s UX teams and all projects are manned with proper skill sets and equipment. In general, your trained skill set will enable you to have a good overview and understanding of the needs in all ongoing design projects. Further on, you will define workflow, work process and prerequisites for the team to get the best conditions for a high productivity. We see UX as a much broader topic than just the digital side. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence our design strategy going forward. Your role will integrate design strategy and UI/UX into one holistic Polestar user experience. You will also be the direct link to the marketing and brand departments and you will be required to work extremely closely with your counterparts in these respective areas.

Seats and Safety CAE team
The Seats and Safety department is responsible for the interior safety systems. This includes all the seats, airbags and seatbelt systems. The department is now looking to further increase our knowledge and to work towards a CAE driven development future.
We are now looking for a CAE engineer interested in seat simulations to help us further improve on Volvo’s Safety Vision for future projects.

About us
The main tasks of the CAE team are to support interior and complete vehicle groups with knowledge and CAE models of the seats and restraints. Who we are
The Wiper, Washer & Sensor Cleaning Team consists of around 20 people and 16 of them are working with cleaning.
The Washer & Sensor Team is working manly with cleaning of headlamps and cleaning of all sensors as well as cameras around the car whereas the Wiper Team is working with front & rear wipers. The two teams are highly collaborative, and they work close together and help each other out when things are difficult.

Required background and skills:

- University degree in transportation design
- Minimum of 2 years experience in automobile exterior design
- Good knowledge of CAD 3D design process and software such as Alias or Polygon modeling (Blender, Maya,...)
- Solid experience in Photoshop or equivalent image processing software
- Fluent in English, spoken and written

We are now seeking a UX Researcher to join the Retail Systems team within the UX Organization in our offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Lund (international applications are welcome with relocation to Gothenburg).

What you'll do
In a new role on a new team, the UX Researcher on the Retail Systems team will redefine what it means to support customers in their ownership experience of cars, automotive services, and mobility products. You'll be part of guiding user experience in collaboration with stakeholders in operations, product, and engineering.

You'll help the team (designers, content strategists, and other researchers) see the entire landscape of Volvo retail and create full-lifecycle experiences for customers that are simple, seamless, and thoughtful. You’ll also help understand the needs and workflows of customer-facing employees who work to support Volvo consumers across numerous retail and digital touchpoints.

You'll increase long-term customer engagement and customer satisfaction and retention by working to create a new suite of tools and customer and employee products focused on direct-to-consumer model, new forms of retail, and mobility solutions that complement the traditional model of individual car ownership. You'll advocate for both the customer and retail and customer care employees through focus on well-considered design with a high level of craft and exceptional service design.

As a Senior Designer CMF you are contributing to shape the future sustainable CMF palate for Lynk & Co and Zeekr brand.

You will be responsible for delivering complete CMF solutions and detailed specifications for assigned Lynk & Co or Zeekr projects.

What you will do:

- Produce creative and detailed design solutions fulfilling complex technical criteria working in close collaboration with other design disciplines.
- Develop sustainable CMF concepts, which are translated into physical solutions and prototypes in cooperation with CMF Specialists and our in-house trim shop.
- Conduct benchmark and research, having a fact-based approach.
- Create Colour, Material, Finish definition documents and safeguard CMF releases linked to design gateways and property plans.
- Prepare physical and digital presentations. Be able to present and attend in design reviews.
- Attend in project and engineering meetings, representing CMF for your assigned project.
- Work closely and interact with both internal as well external stakeholders.
- Liaise with R&D, Project and Marketing teams in China.
- Part of CMF community doing non project assignments, creative contributions to work shops and CMF strategies.


Essential qualifications:

- Min. bachelor’s degree within Industrial Design, Transportation Design or Fine Arts.
- At least 5-10 years’ experience from industrial or transportation design. Work related to sustainability and research an advantage.
- Deep knowledge in design process and methodology as well CMF development process.
- Strong communicator with good presentation skills, both verbally and visually.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and VRED with ability to visualize and communicate ideas effectively in 2D and 3D. Other software like Substance, Key Shot, Rhino is also valuable.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge in Mandarin is an advantage.

Let us describe the challenge we offer

As a Designer for Color & Material, you will support the Senior design manager to create the Color & Material Design for a specific program in the in creative phase, from conceptualizing and communicating design ideas up till developing for production. You will also support the VP Color & Material Design in strategic design, projects and design for sustainable solutions. This position is located at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Who you are

To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
