The Automotive Interior Designer is a creative and technically skilled professional responsible for shaping the future of vehicle interiors, with a particular focus on seating design and the overall cabin experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deliver lighting concepts for interior and exterior systems (ambient, functional, and
communication lighting).
• Develop lighting solutions that match the vehicle's design character and technical constraints,
suggesting light integrations into the vehicle's form (surfaces, gaps, joints, materials).
• Translate brand DNA into iconic lighting signatures and dynamic behaviours (e.g.,
welcome/farewell, charging indication, Interior Light themes, ADAS-linked signals).
• Use the lighting toolchain (visualisation, simulation, VR) to validate light effects, integration,

• Create and lead engaging presentations or prototypes that effectively convey intent to

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial/Product/Transportation Design, Interaction/Lighting
Design, or similar.
• 10+ years of professional experience in automotive lighting design or closely related fields
(consumer/architecture) with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with lighting design and visualisation tools (Blender & Adobe Creative Suite).
• Demonstrated experience translating light concepts into feasible, manufacturable solutions
with suppliers and engineering.
• Excellent communication in English (both written and verbal), with strong storytelling and

Perform Material and Supplier Research and organize supplier meetings.

Description of the assignment
In this role, you are responsible for designing market-leading User Interfaces with stunning visuals for the cars. You will work within the HMI & UX Design department, a true cross-functional team where inter-disciplinary focus, curiosity and drive are highly valued. We work in close collaboration with all other design departments, as well as with Engineering and Marketing, to shape the mobility experience of the future.
As UI Designer you participate throughout the entire design process, from inspiration and research to building digital prototypes and specify the detailed design. Together with a team, you contribute to the development, evaluation and documentation of novel interaction concepts and information architectures for digital touch points, infotainment, driver information and telematics.
You collaborate on designing, running, and testing new solutions through experiments and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity. From visual storytelling, wireframing, click-through prototypes and animations to functional interactive prototypes. You systematically ensure that concepts are coherent, satisfy user needs and expectations, understand user pain points as well as meeting safety and regulatory requirements, and minimize driver distraction.

Your future role as Design Project Leader for ZEEKR Design

Our Design Project Leader will be leading and supporting the project team within Product Design and will be accountable for project management and deliveries according to design plans, milestones, and objectives of design project content (Exterior, Interior, C&M, Interaction, Visualization, and Design Quality) during all product development phases, from architecture definition to final product design.

This is what you will do most of the time:

- Drive according to the product development process and time/logic plan, to fulfill project requirements and accomplish project objectives within Product Design.

- Create and maintain design project plans and sub-plans, and integrate them with overall project/program plans.

- Manage the design project timing, content/scope, and quality.

- Manage design project cost, forecasts & follow-up.

- Plan, secure, and manage design project activities and resources within Product Design.

- Identify and manage design project risks.

- Manage design project communication, with stakeholders and management, mainly with China engineering teams.

You and your skills:

Chief Designer Colour, Material and Finish (CMF)

As a Chief Designer CMF you are a key player in shaping the future sustainable CMF palate for ZEEKR brand.

About The Role
You will be a key part of a small but growing team of designers who envision products and experiences for gamers that want to escape the ordinary. We have an ambitious roadmap ahead of us and we need your help to make it a reality. You will actively take part in defining projects by shaping them throughout the design process. Insights from your design process will steer and guide the outcome and ultimately define the product success. Who You Are

Vem är du?
Vi söker dig som är expert inom UX, tjänstedesign eller produktutveckling. Du har kunskaper och erfarenheter kring kund och brukarfrågor. Tex. kring metoder för att kartlägga behov och beteende. As a Chief Designer CMF you are a key player in shaping the future sustainable CMF palate for Lynk & Co brand.

What you will do:
You will be responsible for delivering complete CMF solutions for several projects, often with simultaneous or overlapping timetables.
You will push the sustainable envelope both internally and towards external stakeholders, by a fact-based approach and making sure that our material strategies are implemented.
You creatively lead and coach a group of CMF Lead designers that are assigned to specific projects.
You have a holistic creative perspective rooted in design briefs and project manifestos.
You identify synergies and work with commonality cross projects/brands, joint effort with other CMF Chief designers.
Co-creator of CMF strategies based on research, innovations and consumer/social trends.
Being an ambassador representing your projects in various stakeholder meetings.
Liaise with key stakeholders at R&D, Project and Marketing teams in China.

Essential qualifications:
Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design or Fine Arts. Or you are a super talent w/o a master’s degree. Nevertheless, a portfolio that showcases your creativity, experience and skills is mandatory.
Consistent and proven previous CMF Design experience (not necessarily from automotive but beneficial). A minimum of at least 10 years’ work experience.
Visionary outlook to challenge status quo and dogmatic views, but also a negotiator and being able to compromise when needed.
Being able to manage several projects at the same time, as well multiple stakeholders for successful collaboration across design disciplines, R&D, Project and Marketing teams.
Coaching and inspirational abilities.
The usual software package - Adobe Creative Suite and VRED. Other software skills like Key Shot, Substance, Blender, Rhino is always an advantage.
Fluent in English. Knowledge in Mandarin is an advantage.

The Design Project Leader for ZEEKR Design

Design Project Leader will be leading and supporting the project team within Product Design and will be accountable for project management and deliveries according to design plans, milestones and objectives of design project content (Exterior, Interior, C&M, Interaction, Visualization and Design Quality) during all product development phases, from architecture definition to final product design.



This is what you will do most of the time:

Drive according to product development process and time/logic plan, to fulfil project requirements and accomplish project objectives within Product Design.

Create and maintain design project plans and sub plans, and integrate with overall project / program plans

Manage the design project timing, content/scope and quality

Manage design project cost, forecasts & follow-up

Plan, secure and manage design project activities and resources within Product Design

Identify and manage design project risks

Manage design project communication, with stakeholders and management, mainly with China engineering teams.

Organize design reviews, and be the spokesperson for the design department to communicate the design decisions/directions given by Design management.



You and your skills

University degree in design, engineering or relevant work experience

Extensive project experience within automotive design environment.

Good Understanding of all processes and tools within automotive product design.

Extensive knowledge of processes interfacing with automotive product design.

Ability to manage and analyze economic data (forecast, budget and actuals) and have a sense of business.

Interpretation and application of program plans to meet project goals in terms of time, cost and content

This position located in Gothenburg. Regular traveling will be required.

Create and deliver complete design proposals according to design brief and project constraints in assigned programs

Produce creative detailed design solutions fulfilling complex technical criteria

Prepare presentation material for reviews

Participate in exterior design reviews

Attend project and engineering meetings

Work with and guide computer and clay modeling team

Is it you?

We are looking for someone that is flexible, has a strong drive and is able to work under constrained time schedules and frequently revised circumstances. You need to be independent and confident as well as a good team player. Your communication and presentation skills are vast and you have the ability to inspire others. To be successful in the role you need to be structured, methodical and have an analytical mind with good planning skills. Cultural awareness, specifically between Europe and Asia is also an important factor for the role.

You and your skills:

University degree in transportation design

Good knowledge of CAD 3D design process and software as Alias or polygon modeling (Blender, Maya,...)

Solid experience in Photoshop or equivalent image processing software

Previous experience with Asian OEMs is a merit

Fluent in English, spoken and written

Requirements: PDF Design Portfolio max 10mb file size
