As the Chief Design Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our design strategy and championing the importance of design across the organization and toward our clients. The Techno Creatives is a creative tech house that uses technology in innovative ways to help companies progress toward their vision faster.

We generally work on small to medium-sized projects (max. 10 people). Some are external, like our various AI/ML plays, or platforms for automotive infotainment services, websites, AR, and a host of others. Some are internal, like our The Techno Creatives Originals series of projects with Elevate (our IoT platform).

We have grown into a large(-ish) development team and are now seeking a talented Managing Lead Developer to help our dev team flourish.

About the job

Ideally for us, you'd spend 4 days a week as a Lead Developer and 1 day a week explicitly helping out, mentoring, and managing a group of developers.

If you were here right now, you’d be a part of a team working on:

IoT backends, trailer rental web backends, cross-platform spell-checkers,

3D projection mapping helpers, trade shows, exhibits,

AI/ML Big Data real-time time-series predictions, etc.

Open AI / LLM based embeddings for documentation of a large code/docs-base and try to work out if the on/off-prem solutions are best.



But that’s right now. Half a year from now? Who knows what we'll be up to?

Apart from being a Managing Lead Developer, you’ll help improve teamwork through your awareness and coaching with your experience and know-how. Sometimes all a person needs is someone who’ll listen, relate, and have a simple back-and-forth with insights. Not a strict, rule-driven, process-heavy individual. That has its place, but on an individual level - it needs to be up close and personal.

Every project starts with a team working together to figure out WHAT the stakeholders need to achieve. With a Tech/Design Lead, a Strategist, or a Product Owner as the primary point of contact for the stakeholder. The team will define the scope, the tasks, the road map, when and what tasks need to be created, and in which order.

As the CFO, your role is to provide excellent financial services to our company group. You will work closely with the owners (Emma & Joel Rozada) and the management team, as a strategic partner and advisor.

Our mission is to build a series of solar-driven vehicles which we call EVIG. EVIG is our answer to the critical need for electric delivery vehicles for cities. It is optimized for last-mile deliveries in urban environments, able to carry anything from pallets and packages to mail and food. EVIG takes energy efficiency to a new level by having the lightest vehicle weight to cargo volume on the market with solar panel roof, connectivity-enabled services, and flexible cargo space are some of its key benefits.

About your job

In order to produce (and scale) EVIG you and the engineering team of five will ensure that the vehicle's software and firmware are reliable and efficient and that they work seamlessly with other systems and components of the vehicle.

During the first months of your new gig, you’ll get to work hands-on with embedded software development: coding, verifying, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting in mainly three parts:

- The BMS (Battery Management System)

- The VCU (Vehicle Control Unit)

- MPPT (Solar charge controller)

Required experiences and skills:

- 2-5 years of experience in developing embedded systems with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and real-time operating systems

- Practical experience in C programming language and willingness to learn Rust

About you and the value you bring
At The Techno Creatives, no one person is one thing. We all have our Majors and Minors. You may be a Major in Android development, but your minors are Web and Unity. Or you're a Major Rust Firmware dev, but you can also do Python.

As a DevOps oriented person, this is second nature to you. You've dabbled in a number of languages across Linux, Mac, and sometimes Windows, as well as whatever runs up there in The Cloud™. You're familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and maybe even Terraform or Ansible, and you're not scared of shell scripts. Even if you're not that familiar, you're curious and willing to learn - a challenge is fun, after all.

About the job
The Techno Creatives is not the place of work where your job is to mess around with printer drivers and help people out with the WiFi password. We are plenty tech savvy. Your mission is to solve a problem in a way that it stays solved and that others can learn from. That means you’ve been there - you’ve seen things - and now you know what is likely to break.

You will work on new projects. Maybe deploying apps, helping out with CES demos, managing cloud services, tweaking CI/CD flows, setting up new infrastructure, strong-arming grub, updating Kubernetes, helping devs with ops, etc. Any number of things.

About your work

Right now we have plenty of fun and challenging projects - and more coming in. This means, we really need you, a Senior Digital Product Designer, that likes to work on new challenges and make a measurable impact. Every project and client has different needs and we are working with a variety of industries, but we will try to give you an example of what you could be working on.

As a designer at The Techno Creatives you actively take part in defining projects, shaping them throughout the process allowing for the insights from your design process to steer and guide the outcome, the product success. You are the user's advocate and you’ll be responsible for taking products from early concepts and low-fidelity wireframes through to prototypes and iterations based on feedback, always working tightly with your team. We are looking for our next low-level firmware-focused Rust developer to join our team here at The Techno Creatives. You will be a part of our team working with for example Elevate, our IoT platform, where you will be using a modern approach to embedded software development focused on memory safety and testable code. We're using Rust for development on an nRF52 microcontroller.

As the field of embedded development with Rust is quite young, we don't expect to find a perfect match and instead are looking for a good balance between embedded development experience and Rust experience.



Here are some of the technologies you will be working with:

- We are using a SIM7000 modem to connect to the mobile cell network and establish a TCP connection to a Rust-based backend server.
- Shared Flatbuffers serialization format between server and firmware devices.
- Cortex-M ARM Nordic Semiconductors-based nRF52840.
- BLE and NFC capabilities for local communication.
- Different types of I/O range from simple analog GPIO to CAN and NMEA2000.
- Rust traits and libraries to share code between server and firmware.

We are looking for an app developer with experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy on iOS.
You would be joining a highly talented team of developers, designers and strategists in our new fresh office in downtown Gothenburg. Right away, you would be taking charge of the Bluetooth Mesh communication stack for an iOS app. Together with one of our clients we are designing and developing a new product line where our app will be used to install, configure and operate a mesh of professional LED work lights on various construction equipment like forest machines, excavators and loaders.

Professional experience with iOS app development.
Experience working with the iOS Bluetooth Low Energy network stack.
Experience with Nordic Semiconductors iOS BLE lib.
Competence debugging networking issues using Wireshark.
Strong ability to implement coherent and reusable components.
Familiar with ARM based microcontrollers (particularly the nRF52) and the embedded firmware on the other side of the BLE communication.
Comfortable with modern reactive patterns.

We're looking for a full stack focused web developer to join our team here in Gothenburg, Sweden.
We are a non-boring company and we do non-boring stuff. There is no one tech you need to know. Open mind and good fundamentals. Do you know Linux? Mac? Know how to sudo? How to edit configs, restart services, install Postgres, run Docker, code APIs, talk to customers, connect to AMQPs, query databases, make web UIs in React?
Right now we need help with a stream data processing micro-service oriented system written in Python with a front-end in React on TypeScript with 5 different types of databases running over a couple hundred pods in Kubernetes.

Where else are you gonna find a project where you're one day dealing with a 2TB raw sample Cassandra file and the next tweaking the crosshairs on a chart and implementing a cacheable API.
