Responsibilities and tasks:
• Implementation of infrastructure and services
• Support with the definition of architecture and distribute services over vehicle, cloud, mobile and third-party suppliers
• Plan management and use of services throughout the life cycle
• Implement support systems and integrations, as well as requirements for infrastructure
• Define solution based on existing solutions also considering cost and timing feasibility

Requirements:
• Experience of working with cloud-based service development, management and infrastructure
• Experience of working with service oriented architecture e.g. micro service architecture
• Experience of working with reactive/event driven architecture
• Experience from the infotainment area, specifically related to Connectivity, is an advantage

Technical experience:
• Very good experience with cloud technologies and concepts e.g. kubernetes, containerization, secrets management, authentication/authorization, network architecture, microservices architecture, certificates etc.
• Experience from Terraform (especially ways of working and Azure modules) is preferred
• Experience from Azure (e.g. ACA, Vnets, APIgw, Key Vault, Manage IDs etc) is preferred,
• Having a development background of microservices/backend development is a strong plus Visa mindre

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As System Verification Engineer, you will have the opportunity to reinforce our team working with integration and verification. We perform system verification using both SIL and HIL test environments, to balance quick feedback loops with a deep level of test accuracy.
In this role, you will have great opportunities to challenge and grow your engineering knowledge and skills, as we work with exciting and pioneering technologies for the next generation of propulsion systems.
Your daily operation will span a wide range of activities, developing and executing automatic test scripts in order to develop virtual test methods. You will play a key role to further enhance and develop our HIL and SIL test environments, in close cooperation with our colleagues around the globe. As we work according to agile principles, you and your team colleagues will to a large extent influence be able to plan and structure your work.

Within the technology stream Vehicle Motion and Thermal Management, we develop system solutions and functionalities for state-of-the-art vehicle motion management system.
This techno stream’s product enables the centralized motion control of the vehicle system under all driving situations (manual, assisted, fully-automated) for all vehicle configurations (rigid and multi-trailer) for all power plant possibilities (ICE, BEV and FCEV).
The Vehicle Motion management product solutions must be safe, efficient and robust. With the introduction of a modern layered SW architecture, shorter SW development loops and deployments cycles; going from months to minutes would be enabled.


The Vehicle motion state estimation group, part of Vehicle Motion Management, is now looking for an energetic and experienced Product Owner to lead an agile team that delivers in-house developed vehicle state and parameter estimation (and prediction) SW.


In this position the focus will be on:
• Drive and deliver road maps, strategies, technical investigations and system designs to clarify and set the path going forward
• Design of vehicle motion estimation, vehicle parameter estimation and vehicle motion prediction strategies for both manually driven and highly automated vehicles
• SW design considering ISO26262 requirements
• Interaction with other SW development teams, as well as external suppliers
• Requirement handling
• Specification and evaluation of new motion sensor technology as well as new sensor fusion techniques
• By innovative thinking lead and secure IP and product releases within Vehicle Motion Estimation

Combustion Diagnostic Group is responsible for developing diagnostic strategies for combustion-related functions (fuel injection, air loop, cooling, and lubrication) for heavy-duty engines for the complete Volvo Group.


The teams work with the development of software design, implementation, and verification of OBD functions. Verification is performed in SIL, and HIL as well as on the engine or in vehicles. We are responsible for the entire development chain from early project phases to maintenance.
