Role & Responsibilities:
Support the engineering team when it comes to tools, CI and CD
Build monitoring and reporting for the project
Set up the framework for incident management and recovery
Cooperate with the development team to build the SDLC framework for the project
Create a release plan with the management team and developers
Maintain existing infrastructure and create new solutions
Advocate DevOps best practices in the organization

Job Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
At least 2 years of recent employment in a DevOps role in the enterprise environment
Solid knowledge of AWS is a must
Experience with deployment and delivery of web and generic server applications
Ability to build the infrastructure from scratch
Familiarity with mainstream CI/CD and IaaS: Docker, Jenkins, Terraform
Experience with load balancing and CDN, administration of Linux systems
Fluent in English

Opera Sweden is looking for a Platform/Infrastructure developer to our new Cryptocurrency team, who is passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrency.
We are the first major browser to natively integrate a crypto wallet. As a Platfrom developer in our Cryptocurrency team, you will be on the cutting edge of building the “web 3” and helping make Bitcoin and Ethereum first class citizens of the modern internet.
In this role you will be a part of a small, focused and supportive team with 7 developers, QA:s and business developers. We use Lean principles for day to day work and best technical practices. We work hard together to reach our goals and make the blockchain available for more people . We also understand that work life balance is important to be able to perform and offer flexible working hours.
Role and responsibilities
Support deployment of other’s code
Write code for K8S infrastructure (Kubernetes)
Monitor system performance and uptime
Take part in overall design & architecture discussions
Add features to different components across the system

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Interest in learning Go or Rust or basic understanding of these languages
Experience working with AWS and Kubernetes
Strong communication skills
Strong understanding of web systems and protocols
Strong understanding of microservices architecture
Understanding of how to use a performance profiler and memory allocations
Understanding of containerization (Docker)
Strong Web development skills, including:

- Design of the overall architecture of web applications
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of applications for speed and scalability
- Integration of front-end and back-end aspects of web applications
Good understanding of git
Understanding of CI and CD principles
Fluency in English, both written and spoken

An ideal candidate has:
Deep understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
Strong backend development experience (in Node.js or other programming languages)
Experience developing web backend using Rust

Role and responsibilities
Although this is a front-end position, you need to have a strong interest in (and ideally experience with) blockchain, Ethereum and/or Bitcoin. In this role you will implement client-facing dashboards and admin UIs.


This means being responsible for:
Building pixel-perfect front-ends from design and interaction mockups
Creating automatic tests (including UI testing and unit testing)
Taking part in our design and architecture discussions
Interacting with our UX design team
Reviewing the front-end code of other developers
Integrating back- and front-end components



To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
2+ years of experience in developing front-ends with React
Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English)
A deep understanding of the modern web and best practices, including:
HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript
The full build pipeline for React applications
Optimizing code: both in terms of speed and scalability
Architecting modern web applications
CI/CD principles
Version control using git
Engineering knowledge: your code should be well structured and comprehensible by other humans, not just computers.



An ideal candidate has:
Deep understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
Backend development experience (in Node.js or other programming languages)
Understanding containerization, Docker
