Kvalifikationer
Som person är du driven, självständig, ansvarsfull, noggrann och kan arbeta både i grupp och självständigt. Du har en ingenjörsbakgrund och minst 2 års relevant erfarenhet. Meriterande med erfarenhet från försvar eller fordonsindustrin.
AFRY söker en kompositingenjör med kunskap inom materialteknik och komposittillverkningsprocesser. Du kommer att arbeta i olika utvecklingsprojekt där du bidrar med din expertis för att designa och optimera kompositmaterial. Du deltar i utvecklingsprojekt för kompositmaterial. Analyserar och testar materialegenskaper för att säkerställa prestanda och hållbarhet. Hjälper till att optimera tillverkningsprocesser inom kompositproduktion.
Eftersom mycket av arbetet även kan vara mot internationella kunder behärskar du både svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.
För den här tjänsten behöver du vara svensk medborgare och uppdraget kommer att kräva en säkerhetsprövning.

Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

About the Role:

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards. You will lead supplier audits, quality assessments, and process improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100.

You will collaborate closely with suppliers, engineering teams, and production to resolve quality issues, improve supplier performance, and ensure robust quality control processes throughout the supply chain. Additionally, you will play a key role in supplier development initiatives and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain supplier quality management processes in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100 standards.

· Conduct supplier audits, performance assessments, and risk evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.

· Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving initiatives using tools such as 8D, FMEA, and Six Sigma.

· Implement and ensure compliance with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements.

· Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with suppliers to resolve non-conformances.

· Monitor supplier KPIs, quality trends, and improvement opportunities to enhance supply chain performance.

· Provide technical support and training to suppliers regarding quality expectations and industry best practices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to optimize supplier quality processes.

· Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance supplier capabilities and manufacturing quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

? Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering, industrial technology, quality assurance, or a related field.

? Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably within the automotive or defense industries.

? Industry Standards: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, and other relevant quality management systems.

? Supplier Management: Proven experience in supplier audits, risk assessments, and performance management.

? Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

? Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and Process Capability Analysis.

? Project Management: Experience leading supplier development and quality improvement initiatives.

? Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to negotiate, influence, and build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

? Languages: Fluent in English and Swedish (both written and verbal).

Senior Material and Heat Treatment Specialist with focus Induction heat treatment

In the Manufacturing Process Development (MPD) department we are designing and realizing the future manufacturing for SKF. We are working with technologies such as forming, heat treatment, machining, automation and digitalization. This means that we are supporting the organization to deliver the right product, to the right price at the right time.

Your day-to-day work
Industrialization of new heat treatment concepts for steel as well as developing and optimizing existing equipment and processes/technologies. Main focus will be heat treatment processes involving induction heating.

• Technical support in the organization for process and product development as well as purchasing processes in relation to steel and heat treatment/induction heat treatment.
• Actively participating in tests and analyses in projects and activities related to induction heat treatment; sometimes also leading them.
• Maintain good cooperation with external partners such as e.g. suppliers, academia etc.
• Stay in the forefront of technical development and know-how, and to make sure this knowledge is spread within the organization.
• Actively giving input to and develop strategies and road maps within induction heat treatment and make sure these are up to date.

We expect you to have/be
Master’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar; preferably with focus in Material Science, or Bachelor’s degree according to above with several years working experience in induction heat treatment.

• Applied experience from optimizing and designing induction heat treatment processes, where experience from tool design and/or NC control is considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English in both writing and speaking.
• Willingness to travel (also international).

It would be beneficial if you also had experience in project management with well-developed methodical skills, efficient communication and dedication to reach set tasks.
