Who we are?
Our industry is changing. Electrification is here to stay; consumers have been going digital for years and autonomous cars are around the corner. How will this impact the value chain of a car, from the earliest drawing up until the delivery to the customer? How should we design our products, build our cars and deliver them to our consumers in the future? If you are as intrigued by these questions as I am, you should join our team, the Industrial Strategy team.

The strategy team is here to drive long term strategic decisions by creating clarity, knowledge and focus. As a team we will always act nimble to enable fast decision making and strongly believe in the power of collaboration.

We will now establish a new capability within the company to secure industrial business ownership for the strategic projects. A recent reference project, that was lead from Industrial Strategy, is the collaboration with Northvolt, a multibillion joint venture that will provide thousands of new jobs in battery cell manufacturing and development.

We are looking for a Head of Strategic Collaborations and Projects to drive and lead this team forward.

What will you do?
As a Head of Strategic Collaborations and Projects, you will build a small, high paced and dedicated team that can lead and drive strategic collaborations with external partners. You will also lead the projects and act in the phase where the projects are identified, negotiated and initially set up in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Corporate finance and M&A legal. You will also be responsible to rate a global scouting capability for potential collaborations based on the future demand and strategy for the Engineering and Operations cluster.

You and your skills
You have a strategic mindset, you are action-driven and make change happen. You create a collaborative spirit and with strong leadership skills you build effective teams and develop talents. You also have the ability to handle complexity and to create clarity through effective communication working with different stakeholders.

Your previous experience could be from management consulting, change management or similar, where you have built business acumen and understanding of what is required to make strategies and new concepts happen.

We also see that you have a master’s degree or equivalent from the relevant field and that you have high analytical and problem-solving skills.
