Major Accountabilities:
Expert Interface for parking perception technical expert to both internal and external customers and to suppliers.
Ensure that parking perception specifications and applicable use cases align with customer requirements and business goals.
Lead technical feasibility studies for new parking applications, working with applicable engineering teams.
Participate and contribute to product strategy and vehicle architecture decision making events.
Support Technical Program Management enabling critical path development success.
Ensure proper issue resolution driving to proper root cause and any necessary long term corrective actions

Qualifications:
Min 5 years experience in Vision based perception Systems
Min 3 years experience in Parking applications either at the Perception Level or Vehicle Feature level
Prior experience in Ultra Sonic Sensors and/or Radar preferred

Our Technical Center in Krakow focus on complex systems and software development within active safety projects and we are working with a large number of global vehicle manufacturers. We are now looking for new members to join our exciting journey towards more trustworthy systems that will enable the future of mobility!
The Sensing Function Ownership position (SFO) is a customer facing role that requires a deep technical understanding while at the same time requires the soft skills needed in order to interface with customers and other stakeholders. You will be part of the system team and responsible for your specific function, working together with all internal and external development teams in order to ensure that we deliver the best system possible. In this role you will get to know the fundamental capabilities of the technology within Aptiv’s Radar and Camera based sensors for Active Safety.
Your task
Be the interface for the internal projects and involved in the whole process from requirement identification to validation
SFO’s “owns” their own Vision function, so you must ensure that the negotiated requirements are being met and validated for use in serial production
Responsible for requirements analysis and break-down of the requirements to the software development team
Part of Agile PI planning and supporting the development teams with expertise knowledge during the sprints
Independently follow the technical development of your Vision function
Support the development team in development and testing of the software
Testing your system in vehicle in order to verify that your Vision function works as expected, verify bug reports, and analyze the functions performance
Through close team work with software and system engineers, project managers and internal customers, actively prioritize and solve issues that may occur in the function
Continuously follow up to make sure your function is delivered to the customer with agreed scope on time.
Work globally, across the Europe countries, Asia and North America – role might involve international and intercontinental travels multiple times a year
Leading technical evolution of our market-leading perception software solutions
Bringing latest development in perception technology and methodology into our solution stack
Assuring algorithm quality via sound design, requirement and comprehensive verification and validation according to Aptiv process and industry standards
Facilitate and Improving continuously development support factors, e.g., simulation tools and testing environment
Leading troubleshooting and root-causing issues for ongoing and upcoming programs and projects

Your skills
Bachelor or Master degree in electronics, telecommunication, robotics, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent
Proven leadership skills and good judgment regarding systems and software
Professional Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to have
Experience of systems design within active safety
Experience in the areas of camera, radar, and/or fusion technologies.
Experience in the automotive and/or truck industry development (ISO26262, Regulations, etc.)
Experience working in an agile development environment
Intermediate to strong programming skills in Matlab, Python or C/C++
Understanding of product and software development process
Experience working with communication protocols, such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet

Development of next generation functionality for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving (AD) functions.

Your Background
3+ years of Relevant Experience in ADAS/AD development : min. years of rel. experience
Master's Degree or equivalent in Applied mathematics, physics, statistics, optimization, advanced control theory, signal processing, AI/ML or similar fields
Experienced in data-driven development of algorithms for road modeling, object prediction, planning and vehicle control
Experienced in scripting (MATLAB/PYTHON/CAPL)
Experienced in programming (C/C++, RUST knowledge is preferred)
Knowledge in rapid prototyping and vehicle deployment (DVtools, IV4, ROS, AIRT, CANoe/alyzer)
Knowledge in the field of vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, and Ethernet) as well as experience in dealing with the corresponding development tools
Knowledge in functional safety ISO26262 and SOTIF ISO21448
Driver license (incl prototype vehicle)
Fluent in English both written and orally

Kravspecifikation
Du har ett genuint intresse testsystemutveckling och testmetodik samt trivs i en miljö där du får utvecklas. Du kommunicerar obehindrat på svenska i tal och skrift och har en god samarbetsförmåga. Du delar gärna dina idéer och din kunskap med dina kollegor!
För att lyckas bra i denna roll ser vi även att du har följande erfarenheter:
Minst 3 års erfarenhet av programmering (t.ex. Python, C++, LabVIEW, skriptning)
Designat och utvecklat automatiserade testsystem/testramverk samt tagit fram testspecifikationer
Då detta arbete ofta utförs i säkerhetsklassade uppdrag krävs det att du är svensk medborgare.

Arbetsuppgifter I denna roll kommer du att arbeta med embeddedutveckling. Du kommer att utveckla och implementera mjukvarulösningar för olika plattformar och vara en viktig del i teamet. What will you do

Role mission & context

The role:
Scrum Master activities will be your first priority. You will remove risks/impediments to ensure that the team meets or exceeds objectives. Have been working with Jira and structuring Jira boards and you have experience from agile way of working and are familiar with SAFe.

* BSc degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience as an embedded C++ software developer or be a passionate spare time developer
* Deep knowledge in modern C++ cross platform development (C++14)
* Experience in writing thread-safe code
* Experience in writing testable and maintainable code.
* Experience in agile tools such as Jira, Git and Jenkins
* Excellent English, both verbally and written
* Knowledge in Python development

Meritorious
* Android mobile app development using Kotlin and previous experience with mobile apps projects involving smartphone accessories using BLE is highly meritorious
* IOS mobile app development using Swift
* Experience in software test automation
* Conversational Swedish skills
* Driver’s license B
* Automotive technology such as CAN buses, FlexRay and SOME/IP
* Experience with Robot Framework Visa mindre
