Responsibilities:
Acts as the Program life cycle owner from Quote to the end of Production; brings strategy and holistic approach by consolidating and cascading the activities breakdown to competency Leaders.
Responsible to achieve flawless launches - full ownership to deliver end to end programs on time, with quality and in charge of profitability.
Leads projects in line with company specified methodology.
Consolidates reporting on program statuse from various data sources, for Aptivleadership and Customer.
Accountable of profitability achievement for their assigned business, profit management, including: project financials, BOM stretch allocation to competencies & tracking of execution, PCE governance, MCIP execution to target, Build budget for BBP cycle (Resource demand, Capital expense, material, credits).

Customer relationships, acts as the customer contact for regular management communication and escalation, interfaces for product's scope and timing related aspects, responsible for multiple customers and complex product.
Drive new business and pursuit activities; drive Initial Project Plan: timing plan, risk assessment and change points activities for new quotes.

Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in Economical, Business Management or Engineering filed or relevant professional experience on similar role.

Experienced in electronics or software product development.
Proven records of successful Customer front-end & project experience (2-3 projects).
Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMI, Prince2, Agile).

In this role you will work closely with our test vehicles, performing hardware and software updates.
You will be testing new software and sensors in real traffic and to a large extent also on a test track located around 40 minutes away from the city center.
Area of responsibility:

In this role you will oversee and support integration of our ADAS software components into the full software stack of our customer projects, internal test vehicles and simulation environments. The Sensing Function Ownership position (SFO) is a role that requires a deep technical understanding while at the same time requires the soft skills needed in order to interface with customers and other stakeholders. Your Background
Required:

The Sensing Function Ownership position (SFO) is a customer facing role that requires a deep technical understanding while at the same time requires the soft skills needed in order to interface with customers and other stakeholders. Be the interface for the internal projects and involved in the whole process from requirement identification to validation
SFO’s “owns” their own Vision function, so you must ensure that the negotiated requirements are being met and validated for use in serial production
Responsible for requirements analysis and break-down of the requirements to the software development team
Part of Agile PI planning and supporting the development teams with expertise knowledge during the sprints

Support the development team in development and testing of the software

Your Background

Plan the Software design, implementation and verification activities within the Audio domain according Software Development Plan (SDP), Project Plan or PI plan. Coordinate plan with stakeholders.
Elicit and retrieve, review, negotiate, document and approve Software requirements for the Audio domain.
Define Software Design and detailed Design for the Audio domain. Negotiate design with Software Architect and Software design stakeholders
Initiate analysis and review of Software design (e.g. Peer review or Static Code Analyses)
Perform design analyses (e.g. D-FMEA, peer review, safety analysis) and review when assigned as review stakeholder.
Define Software Verification Strategy and Methods (e.g. Unit tests, integration test) for the Audio domain.
Ensure that Software verification is performed (e.g. software verification within assigned responsibility and for additionally assigned verification (e.g. Verification on corrected errors within function/ domain).
Ensure traceability of requirement, design and verification work products for owned function/ domain according project procedures.
Execute configuration, change and error management according project procedures. Initiate changes to design and errors reports when appropriate.
Escalate to System Lead, Technical Manager or project manager when not able to meet agreed plans.

Design NTI to fulfil Bill Of Design compliance and support design workshops to ensure harness design is within quality and cost targets.

At Aptiv’s Gothenburg Technical Center, we develop infotainment systems for global manufacturers, both for cars and heavy vehicles. We have decades of in-vehicle infotainment systems experience and we have worked with the most renowned vehicle manufacturers around the globe. Recently, our successful collaboration with Volvo / Polestar, we developed the first system based on the Google Android™ Automotive OS. Together with Google we developed and integrated the next-generation infotainments systems for both the Polestar 2, and the Volvo XC40.
We are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team of experienced Software Engineers responsible for the development of the in-vehicle Android Linux based system running native or virtualized inside QNX hypervisor.
Working on cutting edge infotainment systems for all aspects of Embedded Multimedia, on one or more OS like Android, Linux, or QNX. You will have close collaboration with SoC suppliers such as Qualcomm and Intel to integrate the latest and greatest into our product. Additionally, you will be involved in our collaboration with Google. You will see the resulting projects through to production and commercialization with OEM our partners.
Your Role:


Contribute and deliver a new generation of Android-based infotainment head units.
Work as a member of a globally distributed team designing and developing automotive user experience solutions for leading car manufacturers.
Develop software solutions from initial concept and requirements development through to production implementation and software lifecycle support.
Software issue troubleshooting, problem solving, root cause analysis, etc.
Modify existing software to correct errors, port it to new hardware, or to improve performance and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to deliver the highest quality software product.

Extensive experience in C/C++ development for embedded systems.

Your Role
· Technically responsible for the overall product development within your assigned User Experience infotainment projects.
· Lead technical investigations within software, hardware and systems development.
· Be the main technical project leader and interface towards our clients, representing Aptiv in leading client discussions, meetings and technical investigations.
· Plan, lead and follow up Technical Design Reviews, take part in defining the Capability Roadmaps including acceptance criteria for Features, and support PI-planning for hardware features.
· Lead an international team in technical investigations and analyzing change requests from customers and suppliers, and own the technical content.
· Actively lead technical cross-functional teams consisting of software, hardware, mechanical, electrical, testing and validation engineers, both in Sweden and spread out all over the world.
· Lead investigations around needed software certifications such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Carplay etc.
· Be part of an Agile team supporting each other, working with the team to secure project deliverables, in an international environment.
Your Background
Bachelor or Master Degree within engineering.
Experience as an international technical project leader or team leader within software, hardware and systems.
Technical knowledge within User Experience or Active Safety.
Wide knowledge of electronics and microprocessor systems (embedded systems), system and software validation, and technology specific certifications eg. Bluetooth, WIFI, Carplay etc.
Experience as system engineer, programmer, tester, quality engineer or similar, and automotive, is preferred but not required.
Experience from working with clear Agile mindset and structure.
Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and changing project content.
Highly developed communication skills, high level of professionalism in contact with our clients, and able to manage cross-functional activities.
Responsibility and timely implementation of tasks, and ability to work within a strict time frame.
Desire to continuously increase your knowledge and search for solutions.

Your Role

Take a leading role in software development, technical decisions and architecture.
Lead software development activities, participating in all phases of the development cycle including requirements analysis, software design, implementation and unit testing.
Work with cross-functional groups across Aptiv and externally with customers to develop state of the art UI application software solutions.
Participate in functional and architectural reviews, and bring innovative solutions to technical issues.
Maintain meaningful relationships with customer: understanding requirements, problem solving and taking ownership of decisions.
Guide and train more junior developers, navigating the team through the complexities of software development.

Your Background


Bachelor or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or similar.
2+ years of experience in Android software development within the consumer electronics industry or similar.
Up to date on modern Android app development using Kotlin, coroutines, etc.
Deep understanding of the Android framework and the lifecycles of activities, fragments and processes.
Experience working with the JetPack libraries such as Navigation, WorkManager, ViewModel and Room.
Understanding of the Android build chain (Gradle, Proguard, etc.).
Experience using dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger.
Familiar with different presentation (MVx) architectures such as MVVM/MVI/MVP, and application architectures such as CLEAN.

Develop a Continuous Integration toolchain that automates build, release, test and deploy.
Take part in Software Releases to customer, to factory (SWIT), internal and external releases.
Develop container Environments to aid in maintainability and portability of the CI chain.
Maintain Dashboards showing current status to stakeholders.
Take part in ASPICE audits for the Integration and Integration Test areas (SWE.6).
Support the Integration Product Owner in planning work.

Contribute to daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Document Integration procedures, both in project level documentation and practical wikis (Confluence)
Work closely with configuration manager across code to identify code baselines.

Work closely across global sites ensuring software delivery to global teams such as Smoke testing, and Component development teams.



Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, coupled with a deep understanding of embedded hardware.
Knowledge of Automotive communication standards such as LIN, CAN, Ethernet, Flexray.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and associated toolsets (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory)
In-Depth knowledge of android automotive and embedded Linux build systems and tool chains.
Embedded Programming experience (C, C++, Java)

We develop UI for several different types of products in the Aptiv product portfolio, ranging from traditional UIs for Instrument Clusters and Infotainment Head Units, to advanced 3D visualizations for our Interior Sensing Platform and ADAS applications. The Gothenburg team has a leading role in Aptiv’s Android app development.
Your Role
Participate in internal advanced engineering and customer production programs to design and develop a wide variety of infotainment applications for Android Automotive.
Take a leading role in software development, technical decisions and architecture.
Lead software development activities, participating in all phases of the development cycle including requirements analysis, software design, implementation and unit testing.
Work with cross-functional groups across Aptiv and externally with customers to develop state of the art UI application software solutions.
Participate in functional and architectural reviews, and bring innovative solutions to technical issues.
Maintain meaningful relationships with customer: understanding requirements, problem solving and taking ownership of decisions.
Guide and train more junior developers, navigating the team through the complexities of software development.



Your Background
Bachelors or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or similar.
4+ years of experience in Android software development within the consumer electronics industry or similar.
Up to date on modern Android app development using Kotlin, coroutines, etc.
Deep understanding of the Android framework and the lifecycles of activities, fragments and processes.
Experience working with the JetPack libraries such as Navigation, WorkManager, ViewModel and Room.
Understanding of the Android build chain (Gradle, Proguard, etc.).
Experience using dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger.
Familiar with different presentation (MVx) architectures such as MVVM/MVI/MVP, and application architectures such as CLEAN.

The Wiring Harness Resident Engineer is part of a team working close with customers and other departments within Aptiv in an international arena. This position has a great contribution to the future by being part of the evolution of electrification and connected cars, working in a global environment with increased requirement for speed to market and team interaction.
This position will report to Product Engineering Group Manager.
Your role:
· Be the main engineering contact between customer Electrical Hardware System Design Agile Release Team (PO/DE) and Aptiv manufacturing plants.
· Secure and co-ordinate the Change Management and Release Management flow between the Aptiv manufacturing plants and the customer Electrical Hardware System Design Agile Release Team.
· Ensure close collaboration with our Aptiv manufacturing plants and Aptiv technical/service centers
· Co-ordinate the product deliveries based on the customer Vehicle Stream time plans and Aptiv Program Management timing.
· Establish close collaboration and communication with your Manufacturing counterpart to ensure a flawless and fast feasibility flow.
· Perform follow up meetings with customer PO’s/DE’s, your manufacturing counterpart in Aptiv plants as well as back office to agree on all technical documentation to meet all our deadlines.

Your Background:
You got Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent with experience in Software Quality Assurance/ Software Development/Testing preferably in Embedded domain.
You have experience with capability maturity models (Automotive SPICE, CMMI) and Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949/ ISO 9001)
You are familiar with agile methods and state of the art of development tools (Polarion, Jira, Confluence, Git)
You are fluent in English
