Your mission

This role focuses on the validation of composite materials and structures through rigorous testing methods to validate our design concepts, innovative design solution, ensuring that they meet the required safety, durability, and performance standards for aerospace applications.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead and manage composite coupon, element, and full-scale structural testing programs to validate the performance of composite materials and structures.
- Plan and execute tests for components such as fuselage sections, wings, control surfaces, and other critical aerospace structures.
- Develop test matrices, determine test parameters, and select appropriate test methods based on material properties, design requirements, and certification standards.
- Collaborate with design and analysis teams to define test objectives and create detailed test plans, and provide feedback to refine composite structure design based on test results and analysis.
- Specify and coordinate the design and fabrication of test fixtures, ensuring they meet the requirements for composite material testing.
- Supervise the execution of tests, including setup, instrumentation, and data collection.
- Provide feedback to design teams to refine composite structure designs based on test results and analysis.
- Investigate test failures and analyze structural performance to determine root causes and potential design or material improvements.
- Prepare detailed test reports, documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations for further development or certification.
- Ensure that all testing processes comply with industry regulations and standards, such as ASTM, FAA, and EASA guidelines.



You will report to the Head of Airframe & Interiors and your place of work will be at our main office located in Gothenburg, Sweden.


- 5+ years of experience in composite structural testing, with hands-on experience in aerospace testing environments.

- Strong experience in composite coupon testing and composite element testing of aircraft structures. Full-scale testing of composite aircraft structures is a plus.


- Knowledge of testing equipment, instrumentation (e.g., strain gauges, load cells, optical sensors), and data acquisition systems.


- Strong communication and report writing skills, with the ability to present complex technical data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Familiarity with aerospace certification standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) is highly desirable.

Your mission

The mandate for the Design Reliability organization is to facilitate the development of safe aircraft and systems, while meeting performance, schedule, and resource targets. All employees at Heart have a shared responsibility to ensure we are building safe vehicles, and the Design Reliability group will play a crucial role in supporting teams with tools and training to achieve this.

As our first Engineering Lead in the Design Reliability organization, you will help ensure our aircraft meet or exceed design requirements by developing processes, internal tools, training material, requirements and validation methods, and by working with teams across the engineering organization. You will work directly with teams on safety analysis projects, and you will also support the growth of the Design Reliability team through recruiting activities and employee development.

Your mission

Your mission

The Senior Stress Engineer will have a critical role in the design, analysis, and optimization of lightweight composite structures, focusing on advanced manufacturing technologies like Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) and Vacuum-Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM).

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Perform detailed stress and structural analysis of composite aircraft components such as wings, fuselage sections, empennage, and secondary structures, ensuring all analysis meets aerospace certification standards.
- Use advanced finite element analysis (FEA) tools (NASTRAN, Hypermesh) to simulate load conditions and predict structural behavior.
- Work with design teams to optimize composite structures for performance, manufacturing and weight reduction.

As a hybrid aircraft, with some new and novel design features, this may entail innovative approaches to aircraft loads & dynamics modelling, analysis, and testing. This will be a broad role covering design support, analysis and compliance finding. In this role, you will interface to and work with all other engineering groups including systems and structures.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Perform flight loads, ground loads and component loads calculation.
- Perform static and dynamic aeroelastic stability evaluations, including flutter and whirl flutter to ensure structural integrity and optimize design.
- Conduct and lead modal testing, validate dynamic models, and correlate test results with simulations.

Your mission

The Senior Flight Mechanics Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and certification of our aircraft. Given its electric nature and novel design features, this may require innovative approaches in modelling, analysing, and testing. This will be a broad role covering design support, analysis and compliance finding. In this position, you will interface and work with all other engineering groups, including systems and design.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


- Develop and validate flight mechanics models.

- Evaluate aircraft handling qualities, stability and controllability.

- Size empennages and control surfaces.

- Define controls/actuations characteristics.

- Define and optimize flight control laws.

- Propose modifications to the design of the aircraft.

- Significant aircraft conceptual and preliminary design experience.

- Experience with aircraft development programs through the entire design, development & certification lifecycle (EASA/FAA Part 23 or 25).

- Experience with flight dynamics modelling, simulation, and flight testing.

The Regulation & Product Development Manager has broad responsibility for the definition of the strategy for certification of Heart Aerospace products. Your mission

Your mission

The Senior Loads & Dynamics Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and certification of our aircraft. - Knowledge of industry practices and standards including ASTM, SAE, MIL, etc.
- Strong background in materials and process configuration management and proven experience with establishing and maintaining Material and Process libraries and standard part catalogues
- Comfort working in an environment of change and in support of multiple programs, internal and external customers, technical challenges and deadlines
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle small and large projects with a diversity of customers is preferred

You will be working in a small and very multidisciplinary team involved in a broad range of prototyping activities. You will be working on the front line of rapid prototyping to build mock-ups on electrical planes.

Your mission

Your mission

The Senior Systems Installation Design Engineer - Mechanical will help us design and develop various aircraft mechanical systems. This position will be responsible for leading the integration of one or more mechanical systems. The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the overall electrical integration of the Battery Systems used in the aircraft.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Prototyping Technician with mechanical background to join our Advanced Design and Prototyping Team in Gothenburg. Do you have experience with prototyping activities and want to contribute to a more sustainable future?

Your mission

You will be working in a small and very multidisciplinary team involved in a broad range of prototyping activities. You will be working on the front line of rapid prototyping to build mock-ups on electrical planes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Work as part of a team to build mockups, proof of concepts, test rigs and other sorts of prototypes
- Work with CNC and conventional machines for the produce prototype parts
- Assist in the management and development of the hangar facilities
- Help maintaining an appropriate inventory of tools and equipment to support prototyping activities
- Perform inspection, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment
- Oversee and maintain the goods-in receiving area and supervise local logistics
- Ensure safe working practices

Your Mission

You will work with aircraft system integrator and transverse discipline to complete the third-party systems integration into the avionics system. This will include aircraft system control, system indication, crew alerting system and central maintenance function integration.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Providing technical leadership
- Coordinate aircraft system integration meetings with other system teams
- Elaborate and Review Interface Control Documents and interface requirements (CAS, synoptics and displays indications, maintenance) activities with other systems.

We are now looking for a Senior Noise Engineer to join our Flight Science team in Gothenburg. Do you have experience in noise and vibration engineering within aerospace and want to contribute to a more sustainable future?

Your mission

The Senior Noise Engineer will help us design, develop and certify our aircraft. As an electric aircraft, with some new and novel design features, this may entail innovative approaches to aircraft loads & dynamics modelling, analysis, and testing. This will be a broad role covering design support, analysis and compliance finding. In this role, you will interface to and work with all other engineering groups including systems and structures.

You will report to the Head of Flight Science and the team currently consists of 17 people. Your place of work will be at our main office located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate degree in aerospace, aeronautical, acoustics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Thorough understanding of acoustics including theory and current applications.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a relevant engineering discipline, within an aerospace OEM company environment, including the conceptual and preliminary design phase.
- Experience with aircraft development programs through the entire design, development & certification lifecycle (EASA/FAA Part 23 or 25).
- Experience working in an EASA Part 21J Design Organization, or international equivalent.
- Direct experience in the role of noise and vibration engineering.
- Experience with noise and vibration modelling & simulation.
