What you will be doing as an Infrastructure Architect and Operations Engineer:


You will be working in a global automation and operations team working within a number of different areas. Technical ownership and coordination of team/deliverables
You will take technical ownership and coordination of a team and deliverables
Act as technical coordinator between different delivery teams to align chosen solutions within the field
Provide guidelines and best practices, coach others on technical issues, solutions, and deliverables.



Production monitoring and incident management
Monitor and maintain our SaaS production systems, including being on duty
Act as Incident Manager driving coordination and actions within and between teams
Debugging runtime issues and solving complex problems under the radar or in the heat of fatal system incidents
Building, deploying and destroying servers, from quick test beds to mission critical clusters



Coaching and mentoring
Coach and guide team members in work packages and tasks within the area



Technical specialist
Provide documentation for the technical area
Review of proposed solution for new implementation and improvements
Hold knowledge sharing sessions and training
Provide input to planning, estimates and work break down
Development of applications used to support our infrastructure
Evaluate new capabilities, usages of new technologies



What you will need as a Infrastructure Architect and Operations Engineer:
Relevant education or experience, M Sc or equivalent
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Solid experience in operating and maintaining large-scale business critical cloud based production environments
Proficiency as a developer, preferably with Ruby
Worked with AWS or other cloud environments
Experience working with infrastructure automation technologies as Chef (preferred), Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack, Terraform etc.
A background in UNIX and a love of replacing the command line with automation
A love of open source
A cool head!
