Main responsibilities

Main responsibilities
The Senior service engineer is assigned to perform the maintenance and correction of all the systems within the company that have been installed and commissioned on vessels. The Senior service engineer provides both on-site and off-site support, service and preventive maintenance/monitoring/troubleshooting, as well as other technical support solutions to internal and external stakeholders. You will interact with customers on complex matters that requires deep technical knowledge to provide information and procedures to address the inquiries, concerns, and requests to all the systems.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Ensure that all activities, both supervisory and administrative tasks, at site agree with the governing laws, rules, standards, and existing policies of the company and at the field.
Perform maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks of the company’s’ system/equipment during service-related trips onboard vessels.
Maintaining customer relations related to service visits, customer care such as technical support, and providing estimation and quotations towards the customer.
Involvement in customer-training related to services of the products/systems.
Repair and test the system/equipment during service-related trips onboard vessels.
Assist other Engineers during installation and/or commissioning of the system/equipment with technical support.
Assist and advice internal departments with claims related to the system/equipment by evaluating and investigating incoming claims, and in certain situations be responsible for the handling of specific claims procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and electronics
Minimum eight years of maritime experience
