The Role
Etraveli Group is undergoing a data transformation, building a highly scalable data platform to power our internal operations and external data products.
As the Manager Data Platform, you will take full ownership of the technical direction and capabilities of our core data lakehouse. You will work at the critical intersection of technical architecture, data engineering execution and strategic business demands in a dual role. Technically, you are the Platform Owner, taking direct responsibility for prioritizing the work of the Data Operations team. Organizationally, you are the Line Manager for both the Data Engineering and Data Operations teams.
You will work in close partnership with an external Product Owner who prioritizes the Data Engineering initiatives and you will ensure technical quality, drive architectural vision (including ML), and cultivate a healthy, high-performing environment for all your engineers.
Main tasks
Platform Technical Ownership & Management
Act as the Platform Owner, taking direct responsibility for prioritizing the day-to-day work, technical roadmap, and operational maintenance for the Data Operations team.
Partner closely with the business Data & BI organisation which prioritises our Data Engineering backlog and ensure that the Data Operations team has the capacity and alignment to support all incoming Data Engineering initiatives.

Line Management & Team Culture
Serve as the dedicated Line Manager for both the Data Engineering and Data Operations teams, taking responsibility for 1-on-1s, performance reviews and career growth.

Technical Vision & Quality
Define and support the long-term technical vision across IT for the data platform.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Agile Facilitation
Requirements
3+ years in engineering management, tech leadership, or technical platform ownership, with direct experience managing engineers (specifically Data Engineers, DevOps, or DataOps) and 7+ years of experience within IT
Experience in a matrixed environment and proven ability to work alongside external Product Owners, successfully balancing competing priorities, managing technical dependencies, and negotiating capacity
Deep modern data stack knowledge and strong practical understanding of data infrastructure, ELT/ETL pipelines, (on-prem) cloud architectures and compute orchestration
Experience designing scalable systems, with a solid understanding of how to implement and support machine learning architecture
Excellent ability to coordinate cross-team communication and comfortably explain technical trade-offs (like tech debt vs. feature delivery) to non-technical stakeholders and POs

In this primarily technical role, there will be close interaction with database administrators and operations’ engineers, but there will also be collaboration with stakeholders from other parts of our organization (e.g data analysts, business intelligence teams and business stakeholders). The data sources we use are located both in cloud environments as well as on-prem. Ability to analyze and take on tasks, both individually and together with others

Strong foundation in data warehousing concepts and data modeling (e.g., Star and Snowflake Schemas, Incremental Loads, Slowly Changing Dimensions)
Previous experience working with data processing and distributed query engines, like Spark, Dremio/Trino, Databricks
Previous experience working as a data engineer, with different ETL (e.g., dbt, Airflow) and CDC tools (e.g., Debezium, Flink CDC, Kafka Connect)
Previous experience working with multiple scripting languages, like Bash, Python, , etc

The Inflight Ancillaries Team is a core part of Etraveli Group's booking platform, focusing on enhancing the customer journey by developing features directly connected to the airplane. About the Role
As the Team Lead for Inflight Ancillaries, you will be the primary technical and collaborative driver for the team. This role is a combination of hands-on senior development (Java-focused) and team facilitation. You will guide the team through technical challenges, ensure high code quality, and maintain alignment with product goals. You will contribute to the growth and mentorship of your team members while remaining actively involved in the code.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical expert, guiding the team in designing and implementing features for our core back-end system, which handles millions of requests per day.
Hands-on Development: Write and test your own code, including robust unit tests, contributing directly to new booking features and after-sale support automations.

As a User Experience Manager at Etraveli Group, you will lead a team of UX designers that are responsible for the experience in our digital channels. Position Summary
This role as a Project Manager is placed in the Project Management Organization within our Customer Services department. The Project Management team is responsible for managing all projects within the Customer Services department which improve service efficiency, quality and scalability as well as representing Customer Services in cross-departmental ones that support revenue growth, partnership enablement and overall business transformation. As part of the Project Management team, you will manage large projects or several small to medium sized interrelated projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at project level.
Responsibilities
? Determine and define project scope and objectives.

? Cost-Benefit Analysis for each phase of the project in order to prioritize implementation.

Who You Are
As a Network Engineer at Etraveli Group, you will be working with like-minded people who, just like you, are genuinely interested in technical support of anything related to networking. We focus on private cloud implementations using OpenStack but with a hybrid cloud environment also connected to public cloud solutions.
A few of the technologies we use are Linux, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN and Ansible and we would appreciate previous exposure to technologies like Akamai CDN, OpenStack, Docker or Kubernetes.
About the Role
Your day to day work with involve:
Working with Arista routers, Checkpoint firewalls and F5 & A10 load balancers.
Design, create, improve and maintain our network infrastructure so that it is easy to deploy, scalable, performant, secure and fault-tolerant.
Network and infrastructure design, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Support and manage load balancers, including VIP creation, load balancing algorithms and health checks options. Together with the skilled set of DevOps/Infrastructure/Database engineers you will troubleshoot network related issues

Requirements
You are a network engineer with at least 5 years of experience working with on-prem data center networks.
You have worked with routing protocols such as BGP, EVPN and encapsulation protocols like VXLAN.
Creating and implementing network infrastructure with redundancy, security and scalability in mind is second nature to you.
You are flexible and can quickly change focus depending on priorities.
You don't need to have any official network related certifications, the most important thing is your knowledge within network operations and of course your attitude and "can-do" spirit.
You are used to working in a team where English is the preferred language and you are good at documenting.
To be perfect for this role, you always want to learn new technologies and have a sense of envisioning existing implementations’ improvements.

The role
As an Information Security Analyst, within the Information Security Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business units implementation of goals and objectives for the Etraveli Group's global Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM). Key Tasks
Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents and determine root cause
Provide support to IT management regarding implementation of information security policies, procedures, and standards throughout the business and provide subject matter expertise on cyber threats
Deliver first level support on security requests in Business Group Programs and assist groups in risk mitigation and managing/preventing cyber incidents
Follow (and follow-up on) incident management procedures to ensure incidents are logged and mitigated
Review, update and follow-up on IT systems and policy documents
Provide regular and timely reporting on the information security status across the supported business groups
Research data security needs and requirements for current and future systems
Lead and implement the development of pragmatic solutions and the vulnerability management across Corporate Information Security
Proactively identify information security deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to better enable business security at the global level
Conduct risk analysis to assess potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts, providing recommendations for mitigating risks within the organization's systems and processes.

Requirements
This role involves handling sensitive personal and confidential information. We are looking for an individual with a high level of personal integrity and a strong sense of accountability. And also:
3+ years of experience in Information Security. Similar experience in areas such as compliance work, project management, or cybersecurity will also be positively considered.
Understanding of common standards (i.e.NIST, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS)

Our innovative IT DSR team (Data Science and Research) drives the transformation of our data platform. As we replace our existing infrastructure and integrate with broader data warehouse initiatives, we are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping our evolving data landscape.
As our new Data Engineer you will be working closely with our other DSR team members developing data solutions for our ML and BI products for the Sales and Fintech departments. The Team
Data Science and research (DSR) is a team that creates and delivers machine learning based solutions towards internal stakeholders. At a high level, we receive billions of trips daily from search requests and other various requests and process the data through pipelines to produce results such as revenue estimation, conversion analysis or pricing automation. We currently have approximately 50 models in production that are all trained and monitored regularly.

We are in search of a Machine Learning Engineer with the ability to work in an energetic and interactive environment. You must be a self-starter with a passion for crafting innovative ML solutions and as part of our team work closely with our data scientists and data engineers. You will regularly learn and implement new technologies, and play an active role in developing, proving out, and (re)assessment of existing machine learning architectures. You will also be in close collaboration with our DevOps and system engineers in order to consciously improve our infrastructure and our CI/CD environment and process.
Main tasks
Design, build and train robust machine learning models using appropriate algorithms and techniques. This includes experimenting with different architectures and hyperparameters to optimize performance for specific business needs.
Modify/tune existing models, data pipelines and related functionality according to market fluctuations or stakeholder needs.
Clean, transform and prepare large and complex datasets for model training. You'll also identify and engineer relevant features to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
Rigorously evaluate model performance using various metrics, conduct thorough validation and ensure models are reliable and generalized well before deploying them into production.
Design, implement and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for model training, testing and deployment, including using our on-prem platform, CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.
Deploy trained models into prediction services, monitor performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure model accuracy and uptime.
Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers and business stakeholders to define requirements, design end-to-end solutions and drive impact through data-driven applications.
Continuously optimize models for speed, memory consumption, and overall efficiency, ensuring cost-effective and scalable operations.
Keep up with state-of-the-art research, tools and techniques in the field of machine learning and share your learnings with the team.

Learning curve

The role

The role
Are you passionate about providing impactful HR support in a dynamic tech environment? We are looking for a dedicated HR Business Partner to cover a maternity leave for one year. You will play a crucial role in supporting Etraveli Group’s Technology Department, based in Gothenburg.
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the tech organization, offering guidance on a wide range of HR topics in day-to-day operations.
Collaborate closely with managers to ensure alignment on business goals and HR strategies.
Work with the HR team and stakeholders to drive both operational and strategic initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration of annual HR processes, including Performance Management, Rewards & Compensation, Talent Retention, Onboarding, and Offboarding.
You will collaborate with our Tech TA Specialist, who will report directly to you, and provide support with various aspects of recruitment when needed.

The team
You will work closely with a growing HR team in Sweden, made up of HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Specialists and HR Operations. As part of the Swedish organization, you'll have amazing colleagues a few hours away, located in Uppsala and Stockholm, and enjoy close collaboration with our highly skilled HR teams across the globe.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
5+ years in a similar role.
Proven track record of delivering HR support, ideally in an international setting.
Good knowledge of the Swedish labor law.
Strong understanding of what comes with strong business growth and the ability to step in where required.
Experience of working at a Tech company is meritorious.
Excellent skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbal.

The role
As a software engineer in the Platform team you will balance between a birds eye view of our applications as well as diving deep into technical issues when needed. The team is often in charge of prototyping and implementing new technologies, so no two weeks are the same. In collaboration with colleagues you will work to improve our systems, tools and processes to simplify for the development teams implementation and deployment of new functionality, to a variety of locations, such as: Openstack on-prem, AWS, our in-house data centers etc.

The role
As a software engineer in the Platform team you will balance between a birds eye view of our applications as well as diving deep into technical issues when needed. The team is often in charge of prototyping and implementing new technologies, so no two weeks are the same. What will you be doing
To keep it simple: you will be working on Java technologies, developing/maintaining our core back-end software system and facing fresh challenges along with your team members every day. Day to day tasks include new booking features and after sale support automations. You will be part of designing and implementing features for our core back-end system, which handles tens of millions requests per day.
You will work closely with software and product developers.
You will test your code and write unit tests.
Document and communicate your work with your team in order to deliver weekly releases as well as estimate subsequent sprints.
You will participate in a stand-up meeting with your team every morning and participate in a weekly retro/planning session with your team.

The role

The way we work
We strive to work in small self-governing teams, with frequent releases. We adapt our working methods as needed and constantly work towards improving ourselves. Common to all is that we work with a test-driven mindset and that we have a vision around Continuous Delivery. We regularly have innovative activities where the teams get to work with both self-driven projects but also things like Hackatons and conferences. We also apply unplanned weeks for team-wide work on tools and technical improvements.
We program in Java and use My as a database. We strive to work test-driven with Kanban or Scrum as a working method. The development environment is in IntelliJ, case management takes place in Jira. We use Atlassian's entire product portfolio and have Git as a repo manager.

The role
The Information Security Analyst will support the business units implementation of goals and objectives for the Etraveli Group's global Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM). The Information Security Analyst is a partner to the IT management, the internal audit team as well as operation groups, and will be a representative on internal security issues as well as with customers/partners when required. By combining understanding of the company's key assets, business requirements and the ISRM program you will address residual risks and recommend security enhancements.
You will report directly to Etraveli Group's Chief Information Security Officer and when needed act as on his behalf at meetings and likewise. The role closely relates to the core values of Etraveli Group:

Key Accountability & Tasks
Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents and determine root cause
Provide support to IT management regarding implementation of information security policies, procedures, and standards throughout the business and provide subject matter expertise on cyber threats
Deliver first level support on security requests in Business Group Programs and assist groups in risk mitigation and managing/preventing cyber incidents
Follow (and follow-up on) incident management procedures to ensure incidents are logged and mitigated
Review, update and follow-up on IT systems and policy documents
Provide regular and timely reporting on the information security status across the supported business groups
Research data security needs and requirements for current and future systems
Lead and implement the development of pragmatic solutions and the vulnerability management across Corporate Information Security
Proactively identify information security deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to better enable business security at the global level



Requirements
This role involves handling of sensitive personal and confidential information. You need a high level of personal integrity and strong sense of accountability.
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity or Computer Science
Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a Cybersecurity position
Understanding of common standards (i.e.NIST and PCI-DSS)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in Swedish
Self motivated and willing to take on challenges while adapting to an ever-changing operational environment
