Your Role
As our Naval Architect, you will be the technical lead for your discipline across the entire fleet. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external partners, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.
You will:
Be involved with all vessels in the fleet, directly or indirectly.
Take responsibility for Hydrodynamics, Stability, Mooring, and Structural analysis.
Lead or support a variety of technical projects and analysis tasks.
Coordinate with external consultants, subcontractors, and shipyards.
Travel both onshore and offshore as part of your responsibilities.

Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds an M.Sc in Naval Architecture or equivalent, with strong knowledge in stability and hydrodynamics of semi-submersibles.
Has experience from shipyards, design, and operational environments – this is considered a plus.
Works well independently and thrives in cross-functional teams.
Communicates fluently in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.

We are now looking to employ one temporary Maintenance System Engineer to our office in Gothenburg, Sweden, to support the Technical Department with strategic maintenance development and to handle the maintenance Helpdesk for our vessels.
As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will be part of our Technical Department, work closely together with our Maintenance System Superintendent and the other members of the department, and have daily contact with crew members offshore.
We have recently implemented a new maintenance system (IFS) to enhance the analysis of maintenance data as well as improve support for efficient onboard maintenance planning, reporting, and purchasing. As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will provide support to the crew in our Maintenance System, both via the Helpdesk but also with training. You will assist the Maintenance Superintendent with strategic work and other maintenance projects like continuing to optimize and develop our maintenance strategies and methods. Both in IFS, but also via work procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
During the year we made a transit to IFS for Maintenance Management as part of a larger ERP project including Purchasing, Finance, and Accounting. You will work closely and support the crew onboard and other users of the new systems at our Helpdesk. You will also perform maintenance analysis and implement improvements in the maintenance databases.
Qualifications:
Experience in CMMS management and support. If you have knowledge of databases, or SFI-structure it is an advantage. We prefer if you also have experience working onboard a vessel/rig, preferably as an engineer. We expect you to have an engineering degree or similar.

Din profil
Som person är du initiativtagande och lösningsorienterad. Du känner ett ansvar för att våra fartyg fungerar och har förmåga att driva processer.

För att vara framgångsrik i denna tjänst behöver du ha:

· En ingenjörsutbildning inom Marine Engineeing eller motsvarande
· God erfarenhet av projektledning
· God förståelse för både tekniska och kommersiella aspekter
· Strategiskt tänk, vara strukturerad, noggrann och ha förmåga att driva projekt framåt
· Stark kommunikationsförmåga och förmåga att arbeta väl i team och hantera olika typer av kontaktytor så som kollegor, kunder och leverantörer
· Goda kunskaper i engelska både i tal och skrift.

Erfarenhet av att jobba med regler och förordningar inom marinindustrin är meriterande.

o Responsible for the performance of HSE activities towards client and for ensuring that HSE parts of the Contract are planned, organised and executed in accordance with Client contract, regulatory requirements and established procedures.

o Coordinate, prepare and maintain Safety Cases and Project Compliance Plans (when applicable).
o Responsible for compliance verification towards local regulatory requirements, including identification of new or amended requirements.
o Coordinate and participate in Vessel-related Audits and Inspections.
o Perform and assist in hotel inspections and catering audits.
o Ensure exchange of experience between Vessels regarding catering.
o Follow up the handling and close-out of Vessel-related Non-Conformities, Findings and Actions.
o Review and follow-up of Safety Observations registered in the information database.
o Supporting the Business Acquisition Section with HSE parts of prequalification, bidding and contract activities.
o Any other relevant FI assignment as instructed by the person(s) specified under Section 2, regardless of if it is within the ordinary responsibility area or not, including matters connected to other parts of the organisation.

Key responsibilities
As Technical Superintendent in Floatel you will be the onshore responsible for the technical support to one or more of the vessels in the fleet. You work in the onshore Technical Department and at the same time closely with the crews offshore. We work in an ever-changing environment with very high uptime requirements and sometimes quite short decision horizons, so you will need to be fast problem solver and push for working solutions whenever required of you. Your day-to-day business will be to budget, plan and follow up the technical operations for your vessel(s) and ensure compliance with Class, International Regulations and Company Standards. Various technical challenges requiring your immediate attention and action will be a natural part of your day. Other than working with your vessels you will also be cross-fleet responsible for one or more technical systems or disciplines.
Key requirements
University degree in Marine engineering
Experience as Chief Engineer or First Engineer, preferable from Semi Submersibles
Good general knowledge of ship systems and technology
Good knowledge in relevant rules, legislation and practices for the offshore sector
Good knowledge in MS Office
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Key requirements
Bachelor´s degree in HR or similar. Fluent in both English and Swedish language (both spoken and written), Norwegian language is advantageous. Minimum 2 years’ experience as HR Coordinator or similar, Offshore experience is advantageous. Knowledge of the OCS HR system is advantageous. HR Marine / shipping experience or similar. Under normal circumstances, a few travels are required on an annual basis.

You will be part of Floatel International's HR Marine team and work in close cooperation with the organization and our crew. You will be able to assist in various HR matters.

Education / Training

Relevant education within HR administration or similar


Experience

At least 2 years’ experience as HR Assistant or other administrative work.
It is merited if you have experience from the shipping industry and worked in the system OCS
It is merited if you have experience from payroll administration
Good knowledge in English and Scandinavian languages, both spoken and written.
