Are you ready to take on a key technical role in a global offshore energy company? Floatel International is looking for a skilled and motivated Naval Architect to join our onshore Technical Department in Gothenburg.
Floatel International owns and operates a fleet of four of the world’s most modern Semi-Submersible DP Accommodation vessels, designed to meet current and future demands in the offshore oil and gas industry. Established in 2006, our management office is located in central Gothenburg.
Your Role
As our Naval Architect, you will be the technical lead for your discipline across the entire fleet. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external partners, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our vessels.
You will:
Be involved with all vessels in the fleet, directly or indirectly.
Take responsibility for Hydrodynamics, Stability, Mooring, and Structural analysis.
Lead or support a variety of technical projects and analysis tasks.
Coordinate with external consultants, subcontractors, and shipyards.
Travel both onshore and offshore as part of your responsibilities.

Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds an M.Sc in Naval Architecture or equivalent, with strong knowledge in stability and hydrodynamics of semi-submersibles.
Has experience from shipyards, design, and operational environments – this is considered a plus.
Works well independently and thrives in cross-functional teams.
Communicates fluently in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.

Din roll
Som HSE Superintendent på Floatel International har du ett övergripande ansvar för en eller flera fartygs HSE aktiviteter, både lokala, internationella och kundspecifika.
Du arbetar i projekt med stöd från duktiga medarbete både på avdelningen och från övriga organisationen för att supportera besättningen ombord i olika HSE relaterande ärenden för att säkerställa att vi alltid levererar högsta möjliga säkerhet och kvalitet till våra kunder och gäster.


Ditt ansvar:
- Daglig HSE support till projektet och besättningen.
- Säkerställa att HSE-procedurer och säkra arbetsmetoder finns på plats, implementeras och följs. , Samt följa upp på satta mål och eventuella avvikelser.
- Kommunikation med både flaggstat och andra relevanta myndigheter.
- Delta i Floatel Internationals nödorganisation.



Din profil
Som person är du initiativtagande och lösningsorienterad. Du är drivande, strukturerad, kan arbeta självständigt och fatta beslut på egen hand, ibland under tidspress, men trivs också bra med att samarbeta med olika intressenter, både i projektteam och brett i hela organisationen. Du känner ett ansvar för att våra fartyg fungerar och har förmåga att driva processer.

För att vara framgångsrik i denna tjänst behöver du ha:

· Erfarenhet från arbete inom sjöfartsbranschen samt en relevantutbildning i området t.ex. Nautisk.
· Erfarenhet av arbetsledande position.
· God förståelse för både tekniska och kommersiella aspekter.
· Strategiskt tänk, vara strukturerad, noggrann och ha förmåga att driva projekt framåt.
· Stark kommunikationsförmåga och förmåga att arbeta väl i team och hantera olika typer av kontaktytor så som kollegor, kunder och leverantörer.
· Goda kunskaper i engelska både i tal och skrift.

Erfarenhet av att jobba med regler och förordningar inom maritima industrin är meriterande t.ex. ISM, ISPS, MLC och OVMSA/TMSA samt positivt om du har erfarenhet av audits och inspektioner samt utredning av incidenter.

We are now looking to employ one temporary Maintenance System Engineer to our office in Gothenburg, Sweden, to support the Technical Department with strategic maintenance development and to handle the maintenance Helpdesk for our vessels.
As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will be part of our Technical Department, work closely together with our Maintenance System Superintendent and the other members of the department, and have daily contact with crew members offshore.
We have recently implemented a new maintenance system (IFS) to enhance the analysis of maintenance data as well as improve support for efficient onboard maintenance planning, reporting, and purchasing. As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will provide support to the crew in our Maintenance System, both via the Helpdesk but also with training. You will assist the Maintenance Superintendent with strategic work and other maintenance projects like continuing to optimize and develop our maintenance strategies and methods. Both in IFS, but also via work procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
During the year we made a transit to IFS for Maintenance Management as part of a larger ERP project including Purchasing, Finance, and Accounting. You will work closely and support the crew onboard and other users of the new systems at our Helpdesk. You will also perform maintenance analysis and implement improvements in the maintenance databases.
Qualifications:
Experience in CMMS management and support. If you have knowledge of databases, or SFI-structure it is an advantage. We prefer if you also have experience working onboard a vessel/rig, preferably as an engineer. We expect you to have an engineering degree or similar.

Duties and Responsibilities:
o Manage the HSEQ Department Activities and Resources.
o Fully committed to prevent injuries and damage to the environment and property.
o Promote a good working environment.
o Ensure continuous improvements of the Company´s Safety Culture.
o Manage the implementation, development, maintenance, and continuous improvements of the Floatel International Management System (FIMS) in accordance with mandatory rules and regulations and other standards as decided by company management.
o Responsible for HSEQ activities, including internal and external audits/inspections in accordance with the plans.
o Responsible for that the Company is certified on a continuous basis in accordance with mandatory rules and regulations and other standards as decided by company management.
o Responsible for compliance verification.
o Responsible for ensuring that Safety Cases and Project Compliance Plans (when applicable) are prepared and maintained.
o Assist Management and Employees in Health, Safety and Working Environment related issues.
o Responsible for investigating, reporting and following-up of all serious incidents occurring within the Company.
o Act as the Management representative/liaison with the relevant Authorities.
o Supporting the Business Acquisition Section with HSEQ parts of prequalification, bidding and contact activities.
o Participate in and lead HAZOP, HAZID and other Risk Assessment workshops as applicable.

Qualifications:
o University Degree in Engineering, Nautical Science or similar.
o Min. 2 years of marine or offshore experience, and preferably 2 years’ experience working in a HSEQ Management role onshore.
o Applicable experience from working with local legislation.
o Good to Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
o Experience with word processing in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
o Experience from HSE Audits and Incident Investigations.
o Able to interact and communicate well with all levels of management and personnel.
o Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in teams in a changing environment.
o Personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative.

· Schedule, plan, perform, report and follow up Internal Management System Audits.
· Coordinate activities related to internal and external Audits.

Qualifications

We are now looking to employ one temporary Maintenance System Engineer to our office in Gothenburg, Sweden to support us in our ERP project to change maintenance system and later continue as a substitute in our maintenance group.
As a Maintenance System Engineer you will be part of our Technical Department, work closely together with the other members of the department and have daily contact with crewmembers offshore. We are currently in a phase where we will implement a new Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to enhance analyzing of maintenance data as well as improve support for efficient onboard maintenance planning, reporting and purchasing. As a Maintenance System Engineer you will be part of the Implementation Project Team, working closely together with the other team members in the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We use the SIS STAR Maintenance Management System but will now transit to IFS for Maintenance Management as part of a larger ERP project including Purchasing, Finance and Accounting. You will take part in the implementation of the new system as well as provide support to crews and other users of the current and the new systems. You will also be responsible to perform maintenance analysis and implement improvement in the maintenance databases.
Qualifications:
Experience from CMMS management and support. If you have knowledge of databases it is an advantage. We prefer if you also have experience from working onboard a vessel/rig, preferably as an engineer. We expect you to have an engineering degree or similar.

Key responsibilities
As Technical Superintendent in Floatel you will be the onshore responsible for the technical support to one or more of the vessels in the fleet. You work in the onshore Technical Department and at the same time closely with the crews offshore. We work in an ever-changing environment with very high uptime requirements and sometimes quite short decision horizons, so you will need to be fast problem solver and push for working solutions whenever required of you. Your day-to-day business will be to budget, plan and follow up the technical operations for your vessel(s) and ensure compliance with Class, International Regulations and Company Standards. Various technical challenges requiring your immediate attention and action will be a natural part of your day. Other than working with your vessels you will also be cross-fleet responsible for one or more technical systems or disciplines.
