About the job
We need a talented Senior Software Engineer to help us develop new and ongoing features for our users. This means that you’ll work closely with product, design, and customer success colleagues in a fast-paced environment. In fact, no day is the same, therefore you’ll have a significant impact on the areas you work with. Here are some challenges you’ll work on:

- Build a scalable cloud service mainly in GoLang and React with Typescript to support the growing logistics needs of Sendify’s customer base spread across the world
- Build using an API-first approach to facilitate the integration with various e-commerce platforms and logistics solution providers
- Help improve the operational efficiency of Sendify through automation, leading to a world-class customer experience
- Participate in pair programming and pair review sessions
- Mentoring junior members of the engineering team by following Sendify’s development practices, and continuously improving them
- Take an active part in our team culture = be open and supportive, curious, collaborative, and brave

- Have experience in TDD and BDD
- Strongly believe in the power of UML and OOP, in collaboration with your teammates

As our new Data Analyst you will play a central role in developing the newly established Data & Insights team. You will be responsible for understanding our business through data analysis and leveraging that knowledge to drive business impact across our operations (sales, marketing, cs) supply and product teams. Furthermore you will:

As a Analytics Engineer you will be working in the Data & Insights team, collaborate with data analysts and own the transformation that is the foundation for BI, Analytics and Data Science.

The analytics engineering workflow cleans and transforms raw data into consumable information and business logic. In the process, the analytics engineering workflow tests data to ensure it is of high quality, documents all business logic, and ensures data models are running reliably in a production environment.

You will be building data transformation in DBT with close collaboration to both analysts and with input from business owners. Our data pipelines are crucial for us as a business and you will be building, maintaining and supporting data in this role.

The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist is a specialized marketing role, responsible for Search Engine Marketing on a local market level. The SEM Specialist ideates, plans, executes and continuously optimizes advertising campaigns and organic enhancement activities across multiple search engine platforms.

Activities
- Write and optimize ad copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
- Continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery
- Continually optimize bidding strategy
- Research and analyze competitor advertising
- Plan, develop and implement SEO strategy
- Monitor SEM analytics such as redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
- Work with consultancies, web developers and marketing teams to properly implement SEO/SEA best practices
- Prepare reports on project performance
- Come up with process improvement initiatives and implement them


Your profile
- +1 year proven experience in a professional Marketing role or in a related field
- Swedish on a native level and intermediate level of English
- Experience in web analytics
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Experience with a variety of search engines including Google, Bing, and Yahoo
- Experience with a variety of content management systems such as WordPress
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
- Willingness to multitask and take new initiatives

The Job
You'll help lend a hand with architecting and building out new features, maintaining existing ones, and being a strong voice for technical debt. You'll keep tabs on and bring forward parts of the developer experience that don't work well. Part of this role is to step away from the code and to give voice to the architecture, guide other engineers, and help shape our roadmap and incoming features with a technical eye.
Our role within Sendify is to produce technology to make our customers' lives easier. To do this, and do this well, we need someone who has a great filter for fluff. We work done that is neat, tidy, well-named, and thoughtfully-abstracted. This is what you'll help us with. Someone who leaves our world a little better than when we found it ????
Our stack is primarily Golang, though we have legacy code in PHP. We don't write any PHP, but being able to read it will help you get started quicker. We run on K8S, and lean heavily on AWS for hosting and services to help keep us online. It is not a hard requirement to be familiar with Go; if you have experience in another language, these skills will translate easily. We're happy to help you learn.
Some of our actual recent work (and things that are on the menu to be worked on):
Ported API endpoints from a legacy PHP application to our new Go application. Removing old functionality and services along the way.
Moved our high-complexity ImageMagick implementation out of our application and into AWS Lambda. Simplifying our dependencies, and isolating a CPU-bound workload.
Diagnosed and debugged an issue with our ERP system where a customer was entering badly formatted data in the wrong field and not returning a correctly formatted error message for our Dashboard.
Investigated and agreed as a team to take on technical debt through a DynamoDB integration. This allowed us to ship a feature we're not certain about, and now remains easy to change or remove if needed. Tidy-ups have been scheduled for later in the year to pay the debt down.
Dug deep into our pricing algorithm, documenting the pieces, and working with Max on the product team to help understand what is needed.
Started generating realtime manifests - aka pickup receipts - for carriers. These are more convenient for our customers, and generated in memory - reducing dependence on file storage.
Simplified our CI/CD pipeline, diagnosed and removed an extra build step. Shifted from Debian to Alpine, removing old dependencies and removing legacy build scripts along the way.
Migrated our internal load balancers from EC2-classic load balancers to AWS Application Load Balancers. Using K8S to handle the resources and routing.



You
We looking for someone who's got experience writing modern backend web services. Someone with a nose for code-smells, has a good sense for architecture, and values simple solutions.
We want someone who is not afraid to ask questions and has the wisdom to speak up when there's bad decisions being made. This is someone who can listen carefully, and understands the essence of what is being asked - presenting a technical solution that fits both the problem, and the world. We push to have an open and low-ego environment, where ideas can be suggested freely and where your team takes your thoughts seriously and works to hone them to their best form.
Sendify wants team players - if you're a "lone wolf" with your work, this is not the role for you. You're someone who takes care to explain tough concepts to people from all backgrounds. You should be comfortable giving and receiving feedback on ideas. You understand that we work as a group, and not a collection on individuals.
You, as an engineer, should be happy to get your hands dirty. You should also be comfortable approaching problems from both quantitive and gut-feel approaches. Being comfortable with digging deeper, but also with pushing for a decision when the conversation has come far enough. You are expected to be a self-starter; someone who works towards the goal - taking into account what is said explicitly, but what is also implied.
We do not require a degree or any formal qualifications for this role, and the position is 100% remote. If you live in or around our current offices, you are welcome to join — but this is not a requirement. We are a remote-first team, and will remain this way.

Some of the things you will do
As our new Director of Finance you will, in close collaboration with the CEO and Management team, support the international growth and market expansion as well as accelerate growth through leveraging the analytical insights gained from the financial framework.

Furthermore you will:

- Enhance the organizational, analytical and financial frameworks of Sendify through improved FP&A, KPI management, reporting and process implementation.
- Lead the financial planning by developing the yearly budget and quarterly forecasts, drive working-capital and cash flow planning, and control for cost-saving potential, while ensuring alignment with the strategic and operational goals.
- Have ownership for Sendify Group P/L and B/S. Overseeing and managing correct accounting for group companies. Handle group consolidation and ensure transfer pricing structures.
- Responsible for financial reporting to the board and investors.
- Assure compliance with financial regulations.
- Have responsibility for ensuring monthly VAT reporting in multiple countries.
- Be involved in setup of new company structures when we enter more markets.
- Act as key stakeholder in further capital raises and owner of financial data room.
- Lead strategic initiatives related to expansion in existing and new markets, including M&A-related projects.
- Act as key stakeholder in ERP related projects.

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Great English & Swedish skills.
- People Management: both handling external contracting teams and building inhouse teams.
- Highly data-driven, with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Base knowledge within accounting.
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and quickly adapt in an evolving environment.
