As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with our customers, the market units (MSCO), and the end customer. Job description
As a Solution Architect, you will be part of a dynamic, agile team. You will have a leading role in pre-sales of defining and developing Autopilot Solutions for THM LS customers. You will support the MSCO organizations in analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions based on customer requirements and business needs. The team is part of the Automation Product Management and Sales Support, thus providing close insight into the evolution of our software and solutions.
You should have an eye for detail to support sales activities, analyze information, and contribute to the design of customer solutions. Prioritization and leadership skills are essential as you will be interfacing with multiple MSCOs and stakeholders, guiding and supporting them mainly in the sales process.
Core Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities are:
* Participate in discussions, partly with end customers, regarding the technology strategy and key challenges
* Coach MSCOs in best practices in how to use our services and tools
* Analyse customer technology and business environment & requirements
* Analyse customer improvement areas and challenges related to technology and business
* Take ownership of sales-promoting processes about information and implementation
* Provide input to R&D regarding specification of future solutions
Your Profile
As a person, you have an excellent understanding of the customer process and technical challenges. You are outgoing and analytical, with a visionary view of customer process optimization. You are always looking to drive collaborative improvements between TMHLS and customers. You are a team player who easily articulates ideas compellingly and inspiringly and enjoys working with customers and building relationships. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and analytical, grasp the big picture, and pay attention to detail.
You also have a:
* Higher education in electrical engineering, computer science, software development, and automation (BSc or MSc) or equivalent experience.
* Work experience from the automation domain, both hardware and software, preferably also from services (e.g., installation/commissioning, support).
* Basic knowledge about product roadmaps and how those support customers' requirements and future directions.
* Basic knowledge about how customers' requirements and future directions are collected, prioritized, and brought into the roadmap.
* Experience from pre-sales delivering large and complex technical solutions with the customer in focus
