What do we do
At the ESE (Energy Storage Engineering), section we are responsible for the complete battery solution. We are accountable for the lifecycle management of the ESS, from advanced engineering, throughout product development into the maintenance phase. In Electrical Distribution System group, we are looking for a Specialist Electrical Design Engineer that can join our team.
What will you do
In this role, you will serve as a pivotal member of our product development team. You will be tasked with designing and integrating cutting-edge energy storage solutions that utilize the advanced capabilities of Volvo Group batteries. Your expertise and strategic partnerships will be essential in establishing the engineering foundation necessary to bring the vision for our battery energy storage systems to fruition. As part of this position, you will lead the breakdown of requirements for the dimensioning of the Energy Distribution System (EDS) and wiring systems across all our battery projects. You will also engage in design and validation processes. Our development approach emphasizes collaboration, so you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that we effectively monitor supplier deliveries to guarantee the high-quality products our customers expect and deserve.

To succeed in the role as Specialist Electrical Design Engineer we believe that you have the following background:
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering. 
•    Minimum 8 years of experience with Electrical Design.
•    Minimum 2 years of experience with battery development.
•    Experience of designing and dimensioning of wiring, cabling and bus bars in high voltage and low voltage applications.
•    Design tailored electrical schematics.
•    Deep knowledge in tools for harness design like Saber.
•    Create and review electrical equipment specifications and data sheets. 
•    Conduct feasibility studies evaluations.
•    Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices for energy storage systems, such as functional safety standards.
•    Extensive experience from automotive wiring design and in collaboration with Automotive suppliers.
•    Knowledge & Experience in using standard engineering methods like for instance FMEA.
Meritorious:
•    Experience in Electromobility area at other manufacturers.
•    Good Knowledge in Wiring, Busbars and/or connectors within Volvo AB.

Om tjänsten: 
Vår kund är ett innovativt bolag och ligger i framkant vad gäller utvecklingen av större fordon och dess olika funktioner. Här arbetar utvecklare och verifieringsingenjörer tätt tillsammans för att skapa de bästa möjliga resultaten. I rollen som verifieringsingenjör kommer du främst att testa och verifiera instrumentklustret i större fordon, vilket sker genom en kombination av manuella, automatiserade och AI-drivna tester.

Mer specifikt kommer du att:

Ansvara för test och verifiering av instrumentkluster och riggar (detta i Python & C).
Självständig skapa testfall och dokumentera dessa.
Arbeta med automatiserad testning, främst i backend.

Vi söker dig som: 
Har en kandidatutbildning inom elektroteknik, mekatronik eller likvärdigt område (alternativt tar examen juni 2025).
Har en genuint intresse för fordonsbranschen och att arbeta nära hårdvaran.

Job Responsibilities
In the role as a HiL Test Engineer Consultant you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop test environments to validate automotive systems, ensuring the reliability and performance of electric drive units (EDU).
This role involves developing and maintaining HiL, creating test cases, automating test execution, and analyzing results to improve system quality. Everyone in the team collaborates closely with software, hardware, and system engineers to develop robust validation frameworks. Design and develop HiL test systems for validation of automotive powertrain components.
Create, implement, and automate test cases for system validation and verification.
Develop and maintain test scripts, models, and real-time simulations.

Integrate HiL systems with software components for comprehensive testing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for automotive testing.
Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for increased efficiency.

Education, Experience, and Personal Characteristics
MSc within Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Minimum of 5 years experience in HiL Development and Software testing, with a preference for automotive experience.
Documented expertise in setting up and maintaining HiL test environments (e.g., dSPACE, NI, Vector VT).
You are on a proficiency level in scripting languages like Python, MATLAB, or CAPL for automating test cases.
You are fluent in English and if you have a knowledge of Mandarin, Swedish or German it is a plus.

Vi söker en ingenjör för att stärka vår kunds team inom testcellsdrift. Testcellsingenjören är en del av ett team som förser ingenjörerna med data för att validera kvaliteten och prestandan hos våra produkter för att säkerställa att de fortsatt håller världsklass. I den här rollen kommer du, tillsammans med dina testingenjörer, att förbereda och koppla testobjekten till testcellerna. Du kommer att programmera och köra automationssystemet. The role consists in create and maintain vehicle communication matrices and document technical solutions as well as collaborating with function owners, software developers and integration engineers. You will work in engineering projects and be involved in all phases of the product development process, from advanced engineering to aftermarket.

OM TJÄNSTEN:
Teamet du kommer tillhöra levererar funktioner och innovationer som möjliggör nästa generations elektriska drivsystem, självkörande fordon och aktiv säkerhetsteknik. Avdelningen har som mål att kontrollera fordonet i alla sex frihetsgrader genom att ta emot signaler från flera sensorer för att styra olika ställdon såsom framdrivning, broms och chassi. Organisationen arbetar från tidig forskning och avancerade ingenjörsprojekt till industrialisering av systemen, i tvärfunktionella team som täcker allt från funktionsdefinition, systemdesign, mjukvaruutveckling till system- och fordonstester.

Som System Design Engineer kommer du att vara en del av teamet som utvecklar styrsystem för att stödja allt från framdrivning och chassi till aktiva säkerhets- och självkörande system. Avdelningen arbetar med olika områden och uppgifter såsom cybersäkerhet, systemarkitektur för säkerhet, definition av delsystem, funktionsrealisering och systemdesign av ECU och sensorer. Stabilitetsfunktionsteamets uppdrag är att ge föraren en säker och smidig körupplevelse under olika förhållanden och körscenarier, genom interaktion med olika fordonstypiska ställdon som bromsar, drivlina och styrning, med hjälp av avancerade fordonsmodeller och tillståndsestimering.

I rollen kommer du arbeta på avdelningen, Battery Hardware som ansvarar för att designa hårdvarukomponenter för dragbatterisystemet. Du kommer att vara en del av ett ingenjörsteam som utvecklar ingenjörslösningar som uppfyller attributkrav och tillverkningsprocessens krav inom beslutade kostnads- och tidsramar. Arbetet inkluderar kontakter med andra ingenjörsavdelningar, CAE-team och tillverkningsteknik inom företaget samt med externa leverantörer.
Arbetet består av designledningsarbete av elektriska komponenter för batterihårdvara, såsom kontaktor, brytare/pyro, säkring och kontakter. Dina arbetsuppgifter kommer bland annat inkludera:

• Ansvara för tid, teknik och kostnad inom ditt specifika område
• Säkerställa att teknisk dokumentation (3D-modell, TCE, 3DPMI) är tillgänglig på rätt nivå och i rätt tid
• Säkerställa att kostnaden håller sig inom målen och ha nära kontakt med inköp och leverantörer

You will be working in a team that has the shared responsibility of releasing software updates and diagnostic operations to our buses all over the world. As a Diagnostic Operation Developer, you will be responsible for developing tests and calibrations of vehicle functions for buses in our workshops worldwide. This means you will develop a very deep product knowledge of the systems on the buses, while also understanding how to communicate instructions and information to workshop technicians. You will be responsible for developing concepts, implementing the solution, testing, and verifying your and your colleagues' work and be a part of the release process to the workshops. You will be part of a team where we support each other but will also be expected to work independently as you grow in your responsibilities. ?

What you will do?  
In this role you will be at the heart of battery technology, working with verification of battery pack, ensuring fulfillment of safety, performance, and functional requirements. Testing will be done to understand the characteristics and functionalities of complete battery packs configurations. The work is done in close collaboration with development teams, suppliers, and other functions. You therefore need great communication skills and to be able to work in a cross-functional and international environment.  

We are seeking experienced system verification engineers... 
...who are passionate for both electromobility and verification. To be successful in this role you need to have prior knowledge within energy storage system testing. You are a person who is always looking for improvements in our way of working, a true team player with great communication skills. 
We also believe that you are action- and result-oriented and can prioritize your time in an effective way to accomplish your goals. With us you, together with your team of highly skilled engineers get the opportunity to develop both your professional and your individual skills. 

We expect you to have hands-on experience with battery hardware testing like test planning, test method development, creation of Design Verification Matrices (DVMs), conducting battery tests in both rig and vehicle environments. As well as collecting and analyzing test data, doing test execution/evaluation (thermal/electrical performance, legal/certification tests, functional verification, durability test). 

In addition, you have:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field. 
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 4 years focused on energy storage systems, particularly high-voltage traction batteries. 
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, and the use of Vector Tools for data analysis and visualization. 
* Strong knowledge of measurement technology and equipment used in battery testing, including but not limited to multimeters and data acquisition systems. 
* Excellent communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 

Meriting:  
Experience from Electromobility and AVL testing environments?for battery packs. Knowlage within commercial vehicle or automotive product development, DVP (Develop Product and Aftermarket Product Portfolio) and Alpha testing support.  
Support for PIL’s (Failures observed on the field), benchmarking (Ex: e-Actros tests), reliability tests (hot & cold) in vehicle. We also value if you have a truck/bus driving license.

OM TJÄNSTEN:

Friday söker för kunds räkning en Junior Testingenjör inom område Domain Test and Integration. Gruppen du kommer att tillhöra består av 32 personer, varpå du kommer att ingå i ett team om cirka 10 personer.  Gruppen arbetar med systemtestning av huvuddatorn i fronten av ett fordon där de ser till att datorn kommunicerar och kopplas upp på rätt sätt för att högre funktioner ska fungera. Funktionerna det rör sig om kan till exempel vara autonom körning och att dörrar kan öppnas och stängas. 

I tjänsten kommer du att arbeta mellan hård- och mjukvaran för att se till att det fungerar samt tillhandahålla olika ECUer och dess funktion. Teamet du tillhör ansvarar för den första instansen av testning där de har ett tätt samarbete med R&D när det sker förändringar på mjukvaran. Testningen genomförs vidare utefter Continious Integration och HIL där du främst kommer att arbeta med Python men även vara hands on. 

VI SÖKER DIG SOM:
Har en eftergymnasial utbildning inom elektronik, datateknik, mekatronik eller likvärdigt område.
Har goda kunskaper inom Python.
Besitter en grundläggande förståelse inom C.
Är flytande i både svenska och engelska i både tal och skrift då båda språken kommuniceras internt.


Det är inget krav, men meriterande om du:

Har en högskole- eller masterutbildning inom elektronik, datateknik eller mekatronik.
Har tidigare erfarenhet av testning, gärna inom fordonsindustrin.

Om rollen som applikationsingenjör
dSPACE jobbar som ett kompetensföretag snarare än ett konsultföretag. Fokus ligger på vad kunden vill ha för kompetens och lösning snarare än en person till varje uppdrag och kund. Det innebär att dina arbetsuppgifter blir varierande och givande, du är med i flera projekt och jobbar nära dina kollegor för att hitta den bästa möjliga lösning till kund, mycket inom inbyggda system. Tasks and responsibilities:

As a Senior System Engineer in Risk and Hazard, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities. Your responsibilities may include:

• Collaborating with clients to define project requirements and objectives

At Durability & Reliability you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will be our leading reliability expert for product development initiatives for the Complete Vehicle. What will you do?

The mission is to lead and facilitate the Vehicle stream events, processes and assist the Vehicle Stream teams and Sub streams in delivering value. This means that you:

About the role
This is a central role in our quality strategy. You will be working together with another four PQLs, taking care of the quality in a wide area related to electrical and electronic components/systems and telematic services. You will be working with both software and hardware, and you will execute most of your work within the issue detection and pre-study areas.
We use different sources of data and information (i.e.: telematics, warranty, market reports, Technical Support, our dealer net, our brands, etc.) to identify quality issues and prioritize them according to their impact to our customers and our business. After that we prepare pre investigations containing technical details about the failure modes and their business impact. Next step is then to support the Product Owners in securing that appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Our typical goals are to identify important quality issues and protect customers as fast as possible. Hopefully we can find and mitigate those even before they become evident to the customers.
As a PQL you will also ensure communication on product quality and customer satisfaction within Volvo GTT and to our stakeholders.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will be an important contributor to leading supplier readiness, performance, and development activities for your category within the Software & Electronics area. You will be involved in all phases of the Volvo supplier business, from strategic work to running production. SEEL, Swedish Electric Transport Laboratory, is a collaboration between Chalmers and RISE for research and development in electromobility.

About the Role
A key task will be to work on research projects that drive interdisciplinary method development and knowledge building related to electric powertrains and the associated ecosystem. This includes, for example, electrical measurement techniques, dynamic torque measurement, thermodynamics, inverters, battery charging, battery management, vehicle-to-grid, control software, and data collection from powertrains and vehicles.

You will collaborate with other researchers at universities and institutes, which includes the responsibility to create new projects and write grant applications. Another part of the job is working on research assignments from industrial clients. You will represent SEEL and ensure that we have strong collaborations, dialogue, and results – for example, by promoting SEEL at conferences and networking events. The position is located in Säve, Gothenburg, with monthly trips to Nykvarn and occasional trips to the EU. You will report to SEEL's Research Director.

Who You Are?
We are looking for someone with a Ph.D., which is a requirement for the position. You are fluent in both spoken and written English, and if you also have proficiency in Swedish, it’s a merit. In this role, you will collaborate with both industrial partners and researchers from academia and institutes. The job as Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is many times challenging and often rewarding. As an Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) ambassador you will be involved in everything from product development to quality assurance of the production lines on-site at your suppliers. The result of successful APQP work and preventive supplier quality activities, you will sign off the supplier PPAP allowing production to start at the supplier. You will also:
Monitor the quality of the development and the industrialization of new products at the Volvo Group suppliers.
Secure that the suppliers are delivering according to project specifications and time plans. You also secure that the supplier can produce the parts according to the specification with the correct and sustainable quality level. In case of supplier caused problem during the development stages, you are entitled to demand improvement plan to secure successful implementations.
During sourcing phases, you will provide relevant supplier facts as a base for the sourcing cases. ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Junior Hardware Engineer within display and camera technology at Alps Alpine, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining hardware development within display and camera technology, and thus ensuring that the products will meet the standards required by customers. Furthermore, you will be a part of engineering activities regarding electronics during each product phase. You will also be work with requirement analysis and interfacing between Alps Alpine's development teams and customers regarding hardware related issues. You will be a part of a team consisting of project managers, other hardware engineers, test engineers and software developers. As a team, and in close collaboration with the Japanese development team, you will be responsible for developing the next generation of display technology.

Some of your day-to-day tasks:

Perform hardware releases, including review and release of hardware documentation.
Collect and analyze requirements from customers.
Participate in hardware evaluation events and present results.
Handle questions regarding hardware from customers.
Be responsible for the communication with subcontractors.
Participate in Alps Alpine internal technology workshops.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 
A relevant university degree, such as electrical or electronics engineering.
Enthusiastic about display and/or camera technology, personal interest and activities is a merit.
Fluent in both spoken and written English.

What you will do!
The Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) department within Powertrain Engineering Sweden is responsible for the global platform development of exhaust after treatment systems for Volvo Group’s different products around the world. We are about 80 passionate and highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation.


To our Hardware Components Group we are now seeking a Mechanical engineer to the AdBlue injection team. As a Mechanical engineer you will work with the component development, integration, and product documentation of the main components such as pumps, injectors, valves, and sensors. The Adblue injection system is a complex mechatronic system, and you will have the possibility to learn and work within other related areas, for example testing, software control functionality and data analytics. The daily work will be performed in a small team in close collaboration with other functions internally and with external suppliers. You will be involved in all different development stages from early concept development to industrialization and product maintenance.
